I think you missed the most likely issue that you would check first. Most new monitors have more than one connecter type for the computer display like HDMI or Display Port. If your new build uses a different display port than your last build then you need to use buttons on monitor to change the port that is displayed on the screen. If you used HDMI, for example, on your last build and then changed to Display Port, you would need to cycle the button for changing monitor display to that port.

FIXED MINE BY REMOVING CM0S BATTERY FOR 5-6 MIN, REMOVING STATIC WHILE GPU IS INSERTED BY PRESSING DOWN THE POWER BUTTON FOR 30 SEC AND A LOT OF PRAYERS!! THANK GOD Edit: For a full explanation, I disconnected everything first. By that, I mean the keyboard, mouse, display port, usb cables, supply to the system, and etc. Next, I removed the CM0S Battery for 5-6 minutes to drain the static electricity that was probably messing with my newly installed GPU at that time. Then, I placed the battery again and connected every cable. After all that, I turned on my pc and it finally displayed. Also, it helps if you have some knowledge about BIOS in setting up main display, since in some cases, the display will get rerouted to your alternative display (your display port is connected to your GPU but the BIOS is configured to your iGPU or vice versa, resulting to a no reception). If this doesn't work, well maybe because your RAM wasn't plugged all the way through or you have a defective RAM stick. Happened recently to mine as well.

None of this fixed my issue, but after a lot of time i may just have finally fixed it. Hey so I was upgrading and I just got a new power supply and I was putting it into my pc, did everything correctly and when I turn it on my pc turns on but nothing displays. My keyboard and mouse also don’t receive anything. Usually when I turn it on I have this light that turns off for 1 second and then back on indicating it is booting but now when I turn it on it doesn’t do that anymore it is just constantly staying on. I did everything in this video and still nothing happens, I even put my old power supply back in and the problem still exists. Do you know anything else I can do?
I’ve had the same PC for a while now and my issue started when I tried to update the graphics card and my PC froze. And now device manager is telling me that my GPU is all good to go. However, when I actually plug the display adapters into my GPU, all I get is a black screen.
I tried everything except one thing. The cord was bad. There was that light green colored dry mold that grows on outdoor park drinking fountains around the metal inside my HDMI cable on the little gold prongs... Change the cable and it worked. Sheesh...
So I found a fix (for me) - brand new PC that I put together today and I put a 4070 Ti in it. I have a Samsung Odyssey 4K gaming monitor that I’ve been using for my PS5 and the plan was to have the PC connected to it too but it wouldn’t display via HDMI or Display port. The monitor “picks up” that there’s a connection via HDMI but doesn’t display and just times out essentially. I tried different cables, different channels, the works. So the solution for me was a different monitor that my wife uses for work. It’s a standard 1080p display monitor but it displayed via HDMI first try. Now I have to figure out how to get it to display on my actual gaming monitor. I haven’t updated any drivers or bios yet, that’s for tomorrow
@@mmawzrd it did not unfortunately. I still can’t get a display on my gaming monitor. I’ve tried literally everything. PC works and the monitor works, just not together.
@@aktashi so I never got it to display on my Samsung Odyssey monitor. I don’t know why, I tried everything but I bought a 1440p curved monitor from Costco for a really good deal and it worked perfectly.

Hi all, I hope you guys can help me. So, on my old PC gaming computer I was having no display monitor signal at times, maybe roughly 2x a month or so, at first I thought it was just because I had an old pc (4-6 years old & old pc monitor), I would restart it multiple times and the monitor would finally turn on after restarting or shutting down the computer, but now, I recently bought a brand new PC and brand new monitor and I'm having the same issue so I'm starting to think it has to do something externally. Any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks! Happy Holidays! I've checked the wires on the monitor and behind the computer, and everything looks solid.
Can you try a different video cable? Sometimes they can go bad which can cause these types of problems. Its hard to say exactly what's wrong. It can be the monitor, the monitor's video port, or the cable.
Removing CMOS battery method works for me but on a fresh start after shutdown the problem will raise again . No display but CPU and GPU fan is spinning. So need to remove and place CMOS battery on every start. Any solution for this ?
Hello bro, hope you reply to this. I have this 1050 ti Geforce, wich in a storm a couple of weeks ago got kinda burned and I sent it to repair. Ok, repaired, went to fetch it back and saw it working on this dudes PC with a stress program with no problems at all. Came to install it in my fresh new pc and I got to the mobo logo then no signal. tried a couple of stuff, a new PSU, updating BIOS (with another GPU since my CPU has no video), same result. Ok sent it back to the dude who repaired it, it works on his PC so there was no issue to point out, came back, no signal. Decided to try it out on a friends PC, worked flawlessly, we played like 3 hs or something with no problems with no heat and no FPS loss or anything, came to my house, NO SIGNAL. Mos def. it is not a cable problem since I use the exact same cables with the other GPU I'm using now so I have no clue what the issue may be. I have absolutely no signal, but the pc and the GPU coolers are runing, I can hear winows booting sounds an all. but monitor is at no signal
What if software? Custom wind 10 pc connects to a samsung 4k tv not a monitor. Tv has no pc port - hence an HDMI ADAPTER. Works sometimes but often says "no signal". I keep on all night and apparently relates to the problem.

Hi Just getting back to my channel so sorry if this took a while to get back to. This sounds like a bios reset might be the trick. The PC might still be registering the legacy hardware and getting confused when trying to post and sees new hardware installed. What if I have some issue like this, when I turn on my PC it would got black screen like this but after several minutes it would finally boot up. Now while PC is on for a few hours, there would be unexpected "no signal" and no sound (I'm not sure if this no sound, or it's completely stopped any works on PC). But when I look at my PC everything is still on, CPU fan, LED's, Cooling Fan. Idk how to fix this issue, In have cleaned my RAM, reset CMOS, resetting my windows, Upgrade my BIOS, nothing happened. Can faulty RAM be the source of this issue? The issue is most of the time appear unexpectedly when I'm clickin on something
I installed diffirent gpu for a test… then I installed back my own gpu and the fans are not spinning as well there is no display… power led light on gpu is on but doesn’t work… What should I do?
What if the integrated graphics card displays to the monitor just fine but the GPU gives no signal at all? I've changed the primary display in the BIOS but the setting doesnt save and I still can't display to the monitor from the new video card.
My pc boots up I can see the asrock logo after a few seconds The display goes off, the computer is working fine, the keyboard mouse too, after I disconnect and connect the VGA cable, the display shows up,sign in(windows),I think it's a cable or monitor issue, what else could be the issue
Still doesnt work, It cant be the monitor bc I've tried connecting it to my ps4 and it works perfectly fine, its not anything in the pc so it just simply doesnt work I've spent around £2000 on my setup just for it not to work
aww man that sucks ! sometimes its worth trying again or asking someone near by or a friend to try switching parts for a day ! if youve bought everything knew you can repackage and send in ! last resort finding a local pc builder can help for a fee !

bro the thing is my pc boots with the onboard graphics and when i plug my hdmi into the gpu it loads up windows but there is no display....when im playing games it would go black but i can still hear the game in the background playing but the display is off.. some people said it could be the PSU not giving enough power to my gpu so i dont know and i need my system for my work

@@justnotokay @ytbishopdontcare I powered down, reached in and popped out that watch battery in the middle of my motherboard, let it sit for like 10 minutes, and popped back in.
@@mokecity9723 is your PC or motherboard old?
BRO THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was literally trying everything man to no avail, reset the cmoss and BAM!
Having same problem my pc is really new like 2weeks very frustrating
Ik I got my pc today was playing for like 20 mins on it and it crashed and wouldn't connect back to my TV so irritated!!!
@@seancafferty9241 turns out mine had a broken ram. they replaced it and now is running again
your video helped me get my pc going, THANK YOU!!
Yo thanks man your a life saver I had to reinstall my ram and I got my input back thx so much I was worried
Thank you, the round battery replacement fixed it for me.
Hey man where did you study or learn how to build them
A lot of people who build and fix PCs are self-taught. You don't usually go to school to learn how to build PCs or how to fix them.
re seated the c mos bat and it worked ! did not add or replace parts for this 2 happen . does this mean the MOBO is about to fail ?
does it need to have 2 RAMS to make the PC works?
I tried everything except one thing. The cord was bad. There was that light green colored dry mold that grows on outdoor park drinking fountains around the metal inside my HDMI cable on the little gold prongs... Change the cable and it worked. Sheesh...
This young man has given some good advice.
I haven’t updated any drivers or bios yet, that’s for tomorrow
did updating drivers work?
@@mmawzrd it did not unfortunately. I still can’t get a display on my gaming monitor. I’ve tried literally everything. PC works and the monitor works, just not together.
@@jeremy9474does it work now?
@@aktashi so I never got it to display on my Samsung Odyssey monitor. I don’t know why, I tried everything but I bought a 1440p curved monitor from Costco for a really good deal and it worked perfectly.
Question, is it possible to lose display to your monitor after changing your frame rate settings from 60hz to 75hz on your p.c? Because I did this after I install my curve monitor.. it was able to apply with out a problem but it won’t connect after I restart the p.c?
Help please I built brand new PC Ryzen 5800x/B550-F motherboard and got 32GB ram however I cannot enter into the BIOS without first answering this question... I don't know which to do? please answer

Thank you bro, you save me, my problem is the ram thanks again
I think it's worth noting that having an old BIOs with a new CPU can cause this sorta problem to occur
My PC Is brand new everything in it is brand new and I am getting no display You can't even turn the computer off with the button you have to turn it off at the power supply any suggestions
Did you connect the f-panel correctly
I would recommended you check your connections especially with power and reset switch connection . Try to make sure they are in the right place
@@Bryanonanisland yes all is connected properly. The thing is sometimes you turn it all on and it works beautifully and this might continue working for 3 or 4 days and then the next time you go to turn it on no display on the monitor and as I said then you can't turn the computer off on the computer you have to turn it off at the power source

worked on it for multiple hours and you helped me the first solution thank you
Thank you so much, I honestly suspected it to be a problem with the graphics card, since that was what was giving me the weirdest results. Nope, just removed and reinstalled my ram
Had a black screen with the 4090, the cmos worked.. 💪
ty so much bro i spent so much time to find the problem and at the end it was one ram stick which was causing the problem
What if software?
Custom wind 10 pc connects to a samsung 4k tv not a monitor. Tv has no pc port - hence an HDMI ADAPTER.
Works sometimes but often says "no signal". I keep on all night and apparently relates to the problem.
HI. Something strange is happening to my PC. It often happens that when I turn it on I don't have a video signal and the VGA LED lights up. But it doesn't always happen. What could it be. The PC is only 1 year old😮💨
May be something loose ? a strange one but sounds like it happens every so often.
holy i love you so much ive been trying to fix it for weeks
What did you do
U remember RENOL from Provo but what happened after a bio change

Hi Just getting back to my channel so sorry if this took a while to get back to. This sounds like a bios reset might be the trick. The PC might still be registering the legacy hardware and getting confused when trying to post and sees new hardware installed. I would try removing the CMOS battery for a clear and then look at Bios Reset and restart. Let me know how you get on.
Bro u the GOAT. Can’t believe I hastily installed the ram backwards after adding an nvme. I was legit freaking out thought I broke my gou 😭😤😩🙏🙏
Backwards?? Isn’t it built to go in one way
What if I have some issue like this, when I turn on my PC it would got black screen like this but after several minutes it would finally boot up.
You helped me so much! I was trying to move RAM around and that was the problem. Thank U! :D
I installed diffirent gpu for a test… then I installed back my own gpu and the fans are not spinning as well there is no display… power led light on gpu is on but doesn’t work… What should I do?
Thank you so much bro. You helped me fix my PC. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
What if the integrated graphics card displays to the monitor just fine but the GPU gives no signal at all? I've changed the primary display in the BIOS but the setting doesnt save and I still can't display to the monitor from the new video card.
But if a different problem . Haven’t come across this before . Have you had any luck ?
Thanks man, my pc was stoped display after pc cleaning
It was the ram for me, thank god you made this video everyone else had me tryina press reset and a whole bunch of buttons.
What if I haven’t downloaded windows 10 on the monitor yet? Does it usually display no signal
CMOS reset saved the day! Thanks man
My pc boots up I can see the asrock logo after a few seconds The display goes off, the computer is working fine, the keyboard mouse too, after I disconnect and connect the VGA cable, the display shows up,sign in(windows),I think it's a cable or monitor issue, what else could be the issue
Still doesnt work, It cant be the monitor bc I've tried connecting it to my ps4 and it works perfectly fine, its not anything in the pc so it just simply doesnt work
I've spent around £2000 on my setup just for it not to work
aww man that sucks ! sometimes its worth trying again or asking someone near by or a friend to try switching parts for a day ! if youve bought everything knew you can repackage and send in ! last resort finding a local pc builder can help for a fee !
What if I can turn on my computer with no issue but as soon as I open a game like for instants warthunder, it loads fine for like a minute and then screen goes black and then while my screen is turned off my pc is still running and if I then click on a Butten that has like 2 squares with a slash in between them, and if I then wait for it to check my dvi and analog signal it just says check signal cable, even if I take out and plug in the signal cable?
This sounds like a driver issue . Are you able to play other games with this ?
@@Bryanonanisland no it was the power sorce we fixed it a year ago
