    Hi thank you. Had problem 10% erasing disk. The solution was create the image first. Reboot. mount. continue the process in terminal. vuala. thanks again. Doing this for catalina. Hopes it works in Big Sour also.

    Will the original Catalina installer remain intact? Like will it still be able to run and install Catalina on the Mac after this process?

      Tech Desk Vlogs you also said that if the Mac has an ssd that you can choose apfs or the other apfs option. Do I have to use those? Or can I still do the macOS extended journaled?

    your final step was wrong. You do not name a .cdr an .iso as it's only a disk image mac OS can see. you may be able to use it on mac vmware using a mac but, that's it
