- Showcasing a modded setup for Fallout 3 focusing on graphical fidelity and updated mechanics, along with bug fixes and improvements to breathe new life into the game. If you see anything you like, feel free to pick and choose.
The ENB I used can be a little blurry at times but it helps hide the dated lod and aliasing. RUclips's compression makes it look even more blurry. It's much clearer in game. Really it's up to personal preference. I recommend Samsara ENB or Realism ENB as alternatives.

Hot damn. Just downloaded the full mod list and the outcome looks incredible. I'm having some CTD's I'm trying to figure out, but what I've seen so far looks amazing.
Hey, glad you like the look. Before posting this I had some CTD issues too and the fix was deleting the Fallout Stutter Remover ini from my data folder. One of the animation mods installs its own ini for that mod but since we're using the tick fix it's not needed. If you're using everything I listed you might have it too, try deleting it and see if that helps. Let me know if it does too!

@@LegendCredo Fallout Stutter Remover (FSR_WIP_4-1-26 version) PLUS Fallout Stutter Remover Crash Freeze Stabilizer works mainly for Windows 7 users whereas Windows 10 users should use Fallout 3 Tick Fix instead. For Windows 10 users who have a problem with Fallout 3 Tick Fix can use Fallout Stutter Remover but they must use (FSR_4-1-36 version) PLUS Fallout Stutter Remover Crash Freeze Stabilizer.

Okay now this looks sick, plus thanks for the modlist. Question, how does combat compare to vanilla with the combat mods you listed? Im looking to get back to F3 soon, so I wanna try out the list you put, cuz the mods I used to roll with are super outdated.
Hey, thanks for watching. I may actually put out of a video of some combat soon just to show how it's changed.
With this setup it's very much kill or be killed. You can't really storm a group of Raiders guns blazing or you'll get shot down pretty quick, but if you're careful about it and time your shots, use cover, and keep an eye on your surroundings you'll have more success.

Aw, the latest steam version broke FOSE. :( Suppose I will wait for an update. Also, you forget to mention FOSE in your mod list, should it be sorted out before any mods are installed? :)

the original looks more atmospheric and cohesive, I feel like some added objects and stuff are nice to add a bit more density and variety to the environments but enbs just slather post processing everywhere and it looks so goofy

Great video, just wanted some clarification regarding your load order. It says to install both Stewies AI fixes and Heap Allocator but Stewies AI fixes includes Heap Allocator already so wouldn't installing heap allocator be redundant?

So I've downloaded all the mods that u listed and I keep crashing whenever I launch prob that I downloaded too much mods
Where do you download this mod for Fallout 3 on what website do you have to go??
Looks Awesome. Been needing a reason to replay it. Did you install all the mods manually or did you use Vertex/nexus mod manager? I've have issue with Vortex in the past,.
I used Nexus mod manager for Fallout 3, never really had any issues with it.
Is there a mod pack for better graphics? Getting them all one by one takes too long.
What's the Modlist Order when installing the mods? Thanks for the info on the Updated Unofficial Patch. PS. How did you get so many trees in your game? I have both NMC Forested Edition and Flora Overhaul.
Hey there, you can install the mods in the order they are listed without any problems. Just let the next mod overwrite the previous one and so on. As for the trees I used LodGen, I linked it in the modlist but forgot to add that I also installed the Fo3LodGen resources and the Flora Overhaul LOD resources from the nexus. Thanks for pointing this out, I've updated the modlist with links.

@@jodiepalmer2404 LodGen can be tricky to get working properly but remember to leave "generate trees" unchecked. It doesn't work properly and isn't needed as far as I can tell. What other problems were you having?

After installing "Fo3 Reanimation Reborn for Enhanced Camera", I have no reload sounds for the laser rifle and minigan.

Hey, sorry I haven't had that issue. I'm not sure what the problem could be. I'll look into it though and let you know what I find. You can try one of the weapon sound mods on the Nexus and see if that fixes the problem.

I solved the problem by removing the meshes responsible for the reload animation of these weapons. The vanilla ones are very similar, and most importantly there is sound :))

What is your pc build, can an I7 10700k and a gtx 3060ti with 16 gb ram run this well?
I have a GTX1060 and get 60fps pretty much all the time. You'll run this without any problems with that setup.

for some reason though, fallout just can’t capture my interest the same as skyrim or oblivion did, it’s great but i prefer the fantasy setting

How good of a system do you need to make this work at stable 60 FPS?
My mid-ranged system is around 5 years old with a GTX 1060 and I was able to get 60fps and while recording as well. Any modern hardware should see similar results or better.

Yes, the mods listed for NV can be installed for Fo3 as well. :)

It depends. If you want your game to look exactly like this video then you'll need every mod. Not all of the mods I listed are essential though so its up to your personal preference.

The problem with the wasteland is that much of the graphics are not in 3d but just 2d textures, it ruins the immersion

@@LegendCredo thank you yes this is the one I use though I did have problems using other patches that rely on these separately some years ago. I was intrigued by your list so I’m currently going through you’re order right now to see what I might include, on the new Vegas mines etc did you port this over using GECK as I’m not aware of your process
@@jaymurray6051 I actually plan on updating this modlist sometime in the future since I made some changes. I need to do more testing but I think you can overwrite the mergers patch with the FO3 Reanimation Reborn mod (if you're going to be using that). And nah I didn't port anything myself, that mod was ported by someone else on the nexus.
@@LegendCredo yep quite right I haven’t modded F03 in quite a while my last load play through 2012 I think ? Back then I used a quite famous load order (Which you may have come across) it’s nice to see you using Director’s chair and another of my main staples Dynavision have you ever used my beloved Cinematech - Film Grain and Styles, very niche back then it was a battlefield trying to keep stability very rewarding when you get it right

depth of field is way to strong it blurs the entire game.
That's the best way to hide the bad LOD haha, but there's plenty of ENBs to choose from if you don't like the one I used here. :)
@@LegendCredo True but i have never seen a ENB that actually implemented blur as effective as elder scrolls online, not bluring anything in a 100 meter radius and past that using a mild blur to hide bad LOD but preserving fine detail up close. This mod blurs out anything past 10 meters even though it still looks sharp at this distance and lods still look good.
