higher the frequency smaller the transformer maybe ultra fast diodes too
You must cut the paths of copper in the pcb because of its high voltageness it will travel from the copper to the other end of the high voltage transformer

Here's why: There's no oscillator to make AC from battery, so there's no current in the secondary, so the arcs can't be created

@@saibalaji9024 well yes technically the voltage produced is not AC but pulsed DC, in most cases this isn't a problem. If you needed high voltage AC two mosfets could be used in a half bridge configuration.
