Thank you for watching, Serena Barry! We had a lot of other "behind the scenes work" that needed to get done and we're looking to release 1 Alliance episode each month for the rest of Part 1. Then we'll be filming Part 2!
The next two episodes are already filmed and in post production! In addition to Alliance, we have 2 Into the Unknown episodes in pre-production. Stay tuned!
Needed to print up and paint minis for the 2nd half of this "season" apologies for the delay. We are hoping to have more on Into the Unknown after GenCon.
Thank you, Grego! We are aiming for these to feel like "mini-episodes" from the actual Star Trek series. We have some ideas for the second part of the series to help with the immersion aspect.
I’m kind of happy I opted to take the Nova. Definitely one of my favorite “non-standard” Federation ships, but in this campaign run it has definitely hit above its weight. - Ken
Dice have been on my side so far this campaign, although I am surprised the Nova survived this round. The next mission has historically been a tough one to win (at least in previous playthroughs). Yes, we have the new boxes. They are currently sitting on our shelves looking very pretty.
@@IONRadio Yeah the runabout one has a bit of luck to it. Generally no matter what you do the attack ships get a shot on it before you can do anything. As for the new stuff really liking that they are continuing the trend of doing PVE stuff with them. Thought the war of the gods was rather fun.
Definitely need to jump into the new boxes - John and I have a lot going on so our ability to get to Attack Wing and BattleTech have been light. As to the Runabout mission - there is a reason I went "out of order" as the campaign book allows. :) Stay tuned, but an upcoming preview should offer a hint.
I’m curious how wizkids will market Into the Unknown considering both Alliance and that game have a similar narrative driven structure. Was Alliance meant to be a stop gap to new game systems? Was it just to breathe new life into Attack Wing? Both? I was tempted to buy into Alliance when it first came out, but I opted not to since I was still buying Armada and Legion at the time. Can’t have too much plastic crack at once.
The Alliance starter box (the one we are filming now) is fully self contained. You would not need anything else to play through the campaign. Into the Unkonwn plays completely different and is less "blow up the opposing ship" and more of an "explore the galaxy and accomplish missions" experience.
I 100% agree on this. Alliance has been a great way to enjoy Star Trek: Attack Wing. I strongly recommend that people interested in Attack Wing start with this set. - Ken
@@IONRadioif you can find it I recommend trying the DS9 tournament scenario. One player defends a record sized station token and the second player starts from a wormhole token. It's pretty fun.
So glad you guys are doing alliance content again!!

Love these.
Awesome style.
Looking forward to the runabouts
The runabouts are next. May even have a slight lineup change with ships.
Love this. Hope you're doing more Star Trek content soon!

Yay! I was hoping to see more of these.
Any more info on ST into the unknown?

6:09 structural damage in this game too. Haha.
That card plagues me.
Another great episode! It’s really immersive, thx for all the work you put in 👍

Well done! Go Nova!!

Another great mission report. Great little game Alliance - looking forward to you doing more on Into The Unknown once it launches
Thank you, acebadgerboy! We do plan on having some content for Into the Unknown. Format is up in the air until we get our hands on the core set.
Love those listening post models. I need to get some dials at least for things like that.
We are using a few 3D prints for upcoming Alliance videos. It adds to the overall experience. Glad you like them!
Clutch turn there at the end. Lot of great shooting. Have you guys gotten any of the 3 new boxes yet?

Using scenarios defenatly adds a lot to a game of Star Trek attack wing.

@@rmcdudmk212 Month 6 of the "Dominion War" campaign? :) We might even have a Deep Space Nine model...
I may have every op kit that was released for staw.... -John
Strongly believe alliance is a big reason Attack wing is alive. The missions and the AI are a lot of fun to play against.
Well done great game 🙌
Thank you for watching!
X-Wing Miniature Game is dead.... long live the system it used!
Is it the same token and dice?
Tokens and dice are different. The core mechanisms are the same though.
