What the fuck, Sundown? I literally came from Sundowns video they posted all the way back in 2013 about this woofer being a prototype. And their JUST releasing them now???? 4 YEARS LATER??!!! Am I missing something? There must have been an issue in development or something like that. Odd that it took them 4 years to release a new woofer. Not hating on Sundown or anything like that, was just curious as to why it took 4 years. Anyways great video, dude. And these woofers look BAD ASS for super cheap woofers. Very good throw and they take a good amount of power too. Love these. Another amazing product from Sundown :-D

I'm willing to bet that either it was user error or that sub was the only bad one in the batch.I bought a Sundown E12 a few years ago and it was loud af for a budget sub,I have a video of the bass from it making a cup spin around in my driver's door.I eventually fried the voicecoils,but I was overpowering it and clipping.
As is the case with all Sundowns, these are rated conservatively. We had one on 500 watts, free air, just slammin the thing. Couldn't get it to bottom out. Great budget sub !!!!

Jp I need some help I'm getting ready to purchase 2 15' Ev3s. And I have no clue on how to build a 6 foot cubed box and how to tune a port for them this will be my first box build ever could you shoot me some measurements? If you have time
Have you got the D2 or the D4 as it seems to me the D4 would need a slightly bigger box. What tuning would you like to use? I have no experience designing for inside a car although you could probably use a slightly smaller box than needed for a flat response because of cabin gain.
I believe it's the d2 cause the specs call for 3 cubic feet per 15 and I'd say tuned 32 to 35 hrz

You should start doing torture test on some of your lowest cost subs that way your customers know what they r getting and how far they can push them oh and you would also get some great vids from it

i have a sub at 1ohm and im wondering is she will sound better if she is on 2 ohms with 5,000 watts what is your point of view 4 it man?
if "she" gets switched to 2 ohms, you're not gonna be getting 5000 watts to "her" you'll get 2500, refer to ohms law.

wonder why they didnt make them have better terminal clips though, there is way shittier subs out there with that, I would run a few for fun if they had that option cause I am a huge sundown kinda guy.
