I'm trying to bass out a moped scooter. Under seat storage is where the sub and amp will be. Should I get another battery for extra power. And is moped 12volt different from 12volt car power. 2400 watt amp mono block 1 channel sub 2'15 kicker comp c. Bass up gain up bass knob up bass up in car. It rocks bang but not pushing them. Had a zx1000.1 amp to kicker comp bang crazy insane. Sad they no longer make the zx amps
@5.39 OMG that the exact amp i have(GM-A3602). got it at walmart for $40 but I'm already replacing it lol just got my sub installed after 2 weekends of work and hours of youtube videos. managed to get it right on the first try but the amp is severely underrated for my sub(370rms) so im replacing the pioneer amp with a MA Audio HK298 (400rms output at 1 ohm) . These videos were an integrall part of getting this project done Thank you so much!

The ohms section got me when he started with the 3 subs. He said 3 ohms or 1.34 ohms. I didnt get how he got 1.34 or hiw hes saying 3 or 1.34 like its the same thing
I know what im doing and he confused me. lower ohm load will sound loud ,bad for amp. higher ohm sounds good and makes you wish you ran it at at .5 ohm

But no brainer subs for cars are meant for car amps. Most of the local videos I watched here are recommending 1500w rms mono car amp to match for 500rms sub speaker. For the head room I guess. I have the Power Acoustik GW3 12-Inch RMS is 1200. I use the Razor Series 5-Channel Car Amplifier which is 2500 watts. The Subwoofer Channel RMS Power Rating: 4 ohms: 400 watts x 1 chan. 2 ohms: 600 watts x 1 chan. Right now my woofer is wired at 4 ohms, is my woofer underperforming even though the bass sounds really good? Oh, I also have two 6 inch mids on the amplifier. I believe they are 2 ohms I'm not sure but I am more curious about the sub.

Let’s say you have 3 speakers, Once the impedance and rms matches, is this per channel? Or you can only select a channel on the amp

You need to test the factor woofer to see it’s impedance to properly answer that question.
