I don't understand why everybody hates lars drums at this tribute. It's a great tribute with love and respect to great artist darrell dimebag. If you hate lars don't listen let your commentary to your self. Thats my opinion.

One of the greatest songs ever written performed by some of the greatest musicians to ever take the stage... Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of 2 of my mentors that died. One by suicide, the other might as well have been. They helped mold me into who I am. I looked up to them so much and yet, I'm here and they arent and I still dont know how I've been stronger than they were. It still hurts like hell.

Touching, really touching, you can see Scott is on the verge on tears, and I imagine Jerry is too. Just wish that woman would shut up, Jerry's voice is soulful and perfect for this song, plus she is a lousy singer

Scott Ian on the acoustics is great. Fantastic tribute, and a great choice of song. Pink Floyd and Dimebag Darrell: a legend to another.
Look how effortless Jerry Cantrel's playing is in comparison to that of Scott Ian's. Scott actually looked like he was in pain trying to play that song. Wonder if it has to do with the vast difference in genres where his music is concerned in comparison with that of Pink Floyd's. Good song!!!!

I was at Ozz fest in 2008 that was a badass tribute to Dimebag. On the screens they had pictures of Dimebag best show ever RIP Dime
I remember this. The show was in Frisco, TX. I flew 1600 miles from Jersey for that show, best day ever.
The presense of Scott there makes it brutal already

Say what you want about Pink Floyd. This is one of those songs you just need to like. Doesn't matter who you are. The effect, mood, and dedications that are made in this song, and the way do many people play it not only in Rock, but almost everywhere in music, is just unbelievable. I cannot thank Roger and David enough for writing this masterpiece...

I was there. Flew down with the Legendary Stan from Toronto. At least 90 degrees... Partied at Vinnie's Club House the night before. Lots of musicians there. They were velvet roped off, but eventually mingled with the peasants haha. It took two insufferable hours for them to set up Metallica's stage. People were so sunbaked and beered out, a segment of the sold out soccer stadium bailed. The B stage area was awesome. 2 side by side stages. No waiting on stage changes. Kingdom of Sorrow and Soilent Green slayed.

I remeber the Dean guitars stand at the Frankfurt music fair just a few months after Dimebag's death. Among the Dime memorabilia they had his original sunburst ML there and one of his denim jackets. I took off my cap and let down my hair and stood there for several minutes in silence. When I looked up again I saw that several other metal heads had followed my example.
