@Jordan Leo So shut up then. If you dont know the essence of Hinduism rhen shut up. Do you want me to give some great statements made in reference to women in the Bible? You cannot find one single word in our holy book , which are the Vedas, not one. So just buzz off. Hinduism has 3 major classes of thought. One group prays to Vishnu, one to Shiva and the other to Goddess Durga, this school of thought is Shaktism and is most prevalent in eastern India. ShivShakti is what is mentioned in the Vedas. God is formless and genderless. One manifestation is ShivShakti which is half male half female. Female is the active energy and male the passive one. The source of all power is Goddess Durga in Hinduism. So don't preach.

@@JughKamboj hinduism is not the root to all religion. Sikhi is the root to all religion as you will find part of Sikhi in them. If you will further study on Buddhism you will come to know that gautam buddha started keeping sword and uncut hair as can be seen in samurai as they consider weapons as scared specially sword. Guru granth saahab ji maharaj have writings of saints from other saints not because guru wanted to show simpathy among other religion but they added it because they had discovered part of Sikhi. Like baghat kabir ji, baghat nam dev ji, baghat ravi das ji, baghat dhana jat ji, sheekh farid ji and many more. All religions have part of Sikhi including what their prophets aur avatar thaught were right. As baghat namdev ji begin hindu says that Hindu are blind as they are away from truth and Muslim are one eyed as they have some part of truth but consider it as the ultimate truth. So Sikhi had to come on earth some or the other day and guru nanak dev ji maharaj was the one to bring it on earth after the order of akalpurkh.
And the reason it started in punjab because if we study the history of the world punjab was the region in the world where almost every greatest warrior was defeated wheather Alexander or the British. 🙏

In Hinduism the God is one which is formless, genderless, beyond time-space, physical and emotional realm. But it gives you the freedom to choose God in any form that you like. The famous quote, "God is one but the seeker find him/her in different ways". They say our mind is not architectured to understand God and because we are emotional beings it's easy for us to connect to God through idols that invoke emotions towards a particular diety. That's why Hindus didn't had religious wars or conversion because all religions are true as we have different gods, goddesses, philosophies that contradicts with each other within Hinduism itself.

Buddhism originated in India. Lord Buddha was originally born in a Hindu kshatriya(King or warrior class)family. When Siddharth (Lord Buddha's name before he became Buddha)was in his mother's womb , the priest predicted that either he would be the greatest king of all times or the greatest Yogi. His father wanted him to become a King and continue his legacy,So he cut him off from outside world and he grew in the luxuries of the palace. When he grew up he asked his father that he wants to see their kingdom. It was Siddharth's birthday so his father let him see the kingdom. He saw 4 things:
    An old man
    A sick person
A corpse being carried to cremation and
A monk sitting under a tree meditating.
He had never came in contact with any such things. He wanted answers but no one was willing to give him those answers. So he left his family to find the TRUTH in the jungle. He wandered there for a while. Then he sat under The Bodhi Tree and eventually found his truth through meditation.

Hinduism can be followed by one who believes in One god, or one who believes in multiple Gods, even by the one who believes in no God. There are traditions like Astik meaning who believes in things beyond what our limited senses can feel or observe. Things we can’t see or hear doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Nastik means who believes in what they observe from their senses and don’t believe in what they cannot see or feel or hear! Both the traditions follow Hinduism. It is too vast !

We still have the modest single bedroom house I grew up in.
The bond was so close that Sikh sahebs used to come to our house for Bhojana (lunch) and we used to be served at theirs. Our closest family friend was a Mr. Dara Singh ji who came to our assistance when my Grandparents were terribly ill at different times to the hospital. We still are in touch and visit him there, his children are in Canada. My own entourage with closest friends were Sikhs till my graduation that also in Bharat.

Let me explain. Hinduism is very old older than the concept of religion basically. We believe in one universal soul which is gender less, both masculine and feminine. The three main Goddess and three Godess are basically the representation of the one Universal soul which is form less gender less. The Gods are Bramha, Vishnu, Shiva. The Godess are Saraswati, Laxmi, Parvati. Actually the three gods are considered one and represent the masculinity of the Universal soul and the three Godess are considered one and called Sakti and represent the famine form of Universal soul. Other Godess and gods are basically a big joint family. Other gods are basically came from the main 3 God and Goddess. Every god or goddess have some specific characteristics and Hindus pray them for getting different things. About cast system. The cast was actually created as a name to categorise the different types of works people do and according to that there are different ways and work to do for them to have a satisfactory life. But later on people having specific interest created rules and divide people on birth. Now Government is giving reservations and other things for making the people enabled who suffered form cast system once again be equally prosperous as the people benefited from cast system. Today being know to have ancestors from lower cast is beneficial for the today's generation in every government institutions. In social life discrimination because of cast is minimum.

Yeah that's great stuff to know guys... now you can see that time can lead to alterations in beliefs like what happened with the caste system. Now is sikhism derived from Hinduism? The famous sentence from first guru was "No one is hindu or Muslim". This sole thing abolishes castes, gender, religions etc. So sikhism believes in humanity and meditation before any religion or caste. 6th guru built mosque for muslims to pray and 9th guru gave his life for hindu faith. So what I think you are a sikh if you believe in humanity and it is an overlap among all the religions. That unites us all ❤

Hi. I've already explained this in detail in a comment on one of your videos (probably the one on Sikhism) but here you go:
    1. Sikhism isn't derived from Hinduism (nor is it an offshoot, nor is the holy book of the Sikhs a translation of the Hindu Vedas, etc. etc.). Sikhism uses a lot of Hindu and Islamic terminology that was in vogue in the region BUT it reinterprets them and ascribes its own definitions and meanings to those terms (since the Sikh scripture is written in verse, it's poetry), so they're no more than metaphors. There are two competing schools of thought in Sikhism - Taksali and Missionary. Taksalis take a lot of the concepts literally in a supernatural sense, whereas the Missionaries are more grounded and take those concepts in a metaphorical sense. So while Sikhism references "judgment day", "heaven and hell", etc. it also mentions Hindu concepts like "Moksha", "Karma", etc. If Sikh philosophy believed in those concepts literally, then the Sikh scripture would be self-contradictory. It does the same with name of God, using Hindu and Islamic appellations for God but only uses those words to refer to the One Supreme Being. The concepts of Moksha, heaven and hell etc. are interpreted as freedom from the five thieves (lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego) in this life. In fact, the first important event in the life of Baba Nanak (founder of Sikh faith) is the refusal to wear the Hindu sacred thread. Most of his compositions are critiques on the Hindu and Islamic ritualistic practices.
Also worth noting is that there have been attempts by certain Hindu writers to try to prove Sikhism as an offshoot of Hinduism but that's seen as offensive to Sikhs. A casual study of the Sikh scripture proves beyond belief that it rejects the authority of four books holiest to the Hindus (the Vedas). However, that hasn't managed to put an end to the propaganda.
    2. It's actually wrong to make sweeping generalizations about what Hinduism is. Hinduism is an umbrella term for a diverse bunch of schools of thought. So it's wrong for instance to claim that "Hinduism believes in a universal soul" (monism). Only the "advaita" school of thought believes that. The "dvaita" school of thought believes that the creator is separate from the creation (even if he exists within the creation). I remember reading somewhere that Hindu theology ranges from a belief in several independent gods to atheism. And the beliefs have changed over time, they've been influenced by Buddhism, Jainism and even Greek schools of thought (that's where Hindu astrology came from). That makes it hard to define it.
    3. Even though the Arabs were pretty advanced in the sciences in the BC era for the time, they didn't have a good sense of geography (you should see some of the maps they've drawn lol). So the concept of "India" was extremely vague. To put things into perspective, Columbus was looking for India in the 1500s when he "discovered" the Americas. The definitions/connotations of the words "Hindu" and "India" have changed over time.
    4. The Hindu concept of Karma is slightly different from the Buddhist take on it. You can read about it online if you want, it should be easily available.
    5. Dharma is probably most accurately defined as "moral duty".
    6. Most contemporary Hindu beliefs are in contravention of the Vedic philosophy. Vedic Gods were different from the Hindu deities popular today. Hindu schools of "Shaktism", "Vaishnavism", "Shaivism", etc. have today merged into a diverse set of beliefs. So even though we often hear the claim that "Hinduism is the oldest active religion in the world", what it means to be a Hindu has changed over time.
    7. There's a section of South Asian historians who reject the universally accepted "Aryan migration theory" especially because of the implication that Sanskrit (and hence the Vedas) were brought to the region by people who migrated from the West. So they view the theory (which is different in sense from the English word "theory") as an attempt by Western scholars to take credit for everything.
    8. Some of the Hindu texts have been added to over time. The number of verses in some of the scriptures for example continued to grow.
    9. Contemporary Hindu and Buddhist traditions have been influenced by each other.
I have absolutely no intention to offend anyone's beliefs. However at the same time, it's important to separate emotions from facts. I tried to keep it objective.

You may also come across some outlandish statements such as "Hinduism being the tree and Buddhism/Jainism/Sikhism being branches" Or attempts to club them together as "Indian religions" or "Dharmic religions", to show the ostensible superiority of Hinduism.
Sikhism started as a totally separate and independent faith. It is NOT a sect/derived from any other faith. It has suddenly become the envy of some people who are promoting their concept of Hindutva. Such thoughts are anchored in sheer arrogance and insecurity.
A Hindu spiritualist Namdev was physically assaulted by Brahmins and not allowed to enter their place of worship, some 700 years ago. He was forced to sit behind the building! He was a brave and spiritual man. How would you rank a school that allows some of the students to enter the classroom, but forbids others from entering the classroom simply because they belong to unprivileged social class? It is the same concept that STILL does NOT allow some women to enter certain Hindu temples because they are considered impure simply because they are of menstruation age!
The Sikh Gurus rather took Namdev’s hymns and included them in the Sri Guru Granth Sahib, because his spiritual thought resonates with that of Sikh Gurus. Namdev sharply criticized the caste system and the Brahmin-net that was created to entrap human beings into caste system which is dehumanizing. It was designed in such a way that the wily Brahmin had reserved his “superiority” rights forever. Nama spoke against that inequity fearlessly. It is well-documented in his compositions included in Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
      This is just one example.

There is no mythology but dramatic presentation of real events as per Natya Shastra.
Gayatri Devi is mother of Vedas.
Lakshmi Devi is goddess of prosperity.
Durga Devi is goddess of Power.
Saraswati Devi is goddess of knowledge.
All power lies with women only. 🙏

Hi, you should check ancient Nalanda University history, which had all the records, but was burnt by a Turkish emperor during 1193 AD

Hinduism never introduced Caste system. It was always based on Karma but due to ignorance and stupidity people think that it's based on birth. No all of them were based on their Karma
Their are many examples in Hindu texts where People were born in a Shudra family but turned Brahmim by their Karma.

Dharma is basically righteousness. There are five pillars of dharma
    1. Dedication
    2. Justice
    3. Love
    4. Truth
    5. Sense of duty
It's a pretty simple concept but kinda hard to carry out

A Goddess Named Adi Parashakthi ( cosmic energy) Is The One Who Gives Powers To The Trinity (Lord Vishnu,Lord Shiva Lord Brahma) In The Form Of their Wives. So Without Goddesses There Are No Gods. That's Why Hinduism Gives Preference To Women First But Still Some Women Doesn't Understand This And Ask For Equality When They Are Unknowingly Exists On The Top Of Men Since Ages

13:12 That's Lord Krishna blowing the conch to signal that the great war of Mahabharata may begin. Very much like the Vikings playing the horns before a raid.
