There are temples for us but going to them isn't mandatory it's up to you and the thousands gods they talk about just different faces of same source of Bramhan. Bramhan is beyond our capabilities to see, hear or feel. So what we see is just part of him wrapped in a way that we can process those are those thousands of god for you.
While talking about gita he said Lord Krishna told Arjuna about his duties while doing so he showed him real Bramhan. To make him able to see Bramhan he gave him divine ability to see him and still Arjuna struggled to process and kind of got scared to see Bramhan as he covered entire world(as he is everything ofcourse). That's the reason for having thousands of gods and you can choose one of your liking that's added point. 😂

we Hindus have temple to worship but that doesn't mean we can only worship in temples infact Worship isn't the right term. It's dhyaan (for sometime could be understood as meditation though dhyaan is much more than that).Now in dhyaan we can concentrate on anything from single cell of my body to the soul that exist at centre of my forehead, to nature and ofcourse concentrate on the supreme powers(BRAHMA,VISHNU and SHIVA). There are temples for us but going to them isn't mandatory it's up to you and the thousands gods they talk about just different faces of same source of Bramhan. Bramhan is beyond our capabilities to see, hear or feel. So what we see is just part of him wrapped in a way that we can process those are those thousands of god for you.
While talking about gita he said Lord Krishna told Arjuna about his duties while doing so he showed him real Bramhan. To make him able to see Bramhan he gave him divine ability to see him and still Arjuna struggled to process and kind of got scared to see Bramhan as he covered entire world(as he is everything ofcourse). That's the reason for having thousands of gods and you can choose one of your liking that's added point. 😂

we Hindus have temple to worship but that doesn't mean we can only worship in temples infact Worship isn't the right term. It's dhyaan (for sometime could be understood as meditation though dhyaan is much more than that).Now in dhyaan we can concentrate on anything from single cell of my body to the soul that exist at centre of my forehead, to nature and ofcourse concentrate on the supreme powers(BRAHMA,VISHNU and SHIVA). So in crisp hinduism isn't a religion rather its a way of life where you seek for the ultimate truth. Truth means what is it to you. I hope i was able to give you a peek in way of worshiping.
