I know this is an older video, but I'd like to say that it was the first inspiration for me to buy my own Scrambler 900. So thanks for that! Rode from Brasília (Brazil) to Ushuaia and back on it.
So nice to see someone actually clean a bike before they start working on it. It makes me crazy when people are working on filthy machines. It only takes a few minutes to get a majority of the grime off a bike/car/boat. Great video.
Looks great so far! Just needed a bit of love. Excited to see you ride that thing! Also, love that black paint to brick transition with the let's ride sign! So rad
Would love to see a few mods, the typical tail tidy, seat, tires, exhaust, bash plate, but then maybe also some options for bags and longer trips which I have found challenging with my 19. Looking forward to it!
Before you start an engine that's been sitting, you should pull the ignition lead(s) off and spin the engine up on the starter to prime the engine with the fresh oil you've added.
Very nice! That noise at start-up was worrying but thankfully went. The warning lights might go away once its been driven for a bit. My Speed Twin throws up a load after it has been hibernating over the winter.
omg, i cant wait to see what's your plans for it. I have one exacly like that one and its an awesome bike, im in love. Also im a big fan of you videos and work. keep up with the good videos :D
Interested to follow this. I'm almost finished rebuilding a stolen recovered vandalised 2004 T100 I picked up late last year. I attempted to film it but my camera ran out of battery quite early in the dismantling process, while removing the smashed headlight. I've almost finished rebuilding it. I just need to make a couple of brackets for an older Motogadget Motoscope light/ Motosign dash and M-Unit Blue. Currently re-wiring it for the M-Unit.
If it's the same as my speed twin, when you disconnect the battery, you will get an engine management light and an oil light come on until the engine has got up to temperature three times, then they will go out.
It was exactly that! Managed to clear it and will talk about it in the next video 👌 The ABS light is still on but i recon it will clear once the bikes moved
Very lucky that there wasn’t a single dent on the fuel Tank considering that it had a close encounter with a Van and all that damage on the handlebars exhaust and engine casing.
Theres some small marks on the tank and a dent on the other side but nothing worth mentioning! Ill most likely be getting it painted in the near future with some custom colour 🤘
Be aware that you should NOT mix the old with the new cooling liquid! Only replace completely after flushing. However, nice vid. Cheers from Germany 🇩🇪
If it were mine, I'd put a downswept exhaust system on it from one of the other Bonneville twins. I laid my Speed Twin down in a freak mounting up accident, where the factory shifter position was too high and the bike shifted into 1st gear when I stepped on the footpeg to swing my leg over the seat. It's since been adjusted down out of the way to the next spline on the shaft to provide my huge riding boots clearance. Point being, the exhaust wasn't damaged nor was anything else except the front turn signal. The factory exhaust layout on the scramblers is all about looks and isn't very practical. Putting another upswept system on, is just setting yourself up for more damage. Highway bars look killer on ALL Bonnevilles. Do yourself a favor and just get the Hepco&Becker kit, it's by far the highest quality available. The black ones are super low profile and most people assume they're original equipment. Enjoy your parallel twin!
@@jishh Lotta people spend big bucks on fancy aftermarket exhaust systems, so original factory pipes are often available new/uesd real cheap. Personally, I've chosen to spend elsewhere on my '22 Speed Twin. The factory exhaust is outstanding and just needed the cat delete British Customs compitition X-pipe installed and the baffles removed from the factory mufflers. Never pops or sputters at any throttle position or speed even on decel. IMHO most aftermarket exhaust systems for Bonneville twins aren't worth it.
Most bike sound horrible at cold start, wait for the oil to get round and it should quiet down. Not sure about new triumphs but the old ones took 3 warm ups to clear fault lights.
Engines not used for a while have no oil left in the top. Turning it around for a while with the starter (without spark plugs) after oil change can be smart.
OH NO DONT PUT YOUR VEHICLES OUT IN THE RAIN THEY MIGHT GET WET A quick splash over isnt going to hurt especially when left to dry dude. All the plugs are weather proofed to some degree too. Its a modern bike…

Older video or not i read every single comment 🙏 that sounds like an amazing trip! Enjoy the adventures ⚡️

I passed its MOT today so as a well done its getting another wash 😂
unless I have to get it running to get to the car wash, I always clean what I can before working on a project, maintenance etc.
Steve loved Triumpths & i see why. Good job pretty bike
Damn the transition with the bucket and sponge was top notch :D
Looks great so far! Just needed a bit of love. Excited to see you ride that thing! Also, love that black paint to brick transition with the let's ride sign! So rad
Haha i new you would like that. Hopefully some inspo for your new shop 🤘
That transition from brush to wash mit was sweet! Good see you back up and running dude.
Appreciate it 🙏 had so much fun with this one and i hope it shows
Love these bikes. Triumph just have that premium feel to them for the price point
It really does 👌
There’s a lot of ‘wrecked to rebuild’ content poppin lately, glad to see some bikes getting rebuilt too 👊🏼
Exactly! Not enough bikes being saved. Had to do this in my own way though of corse 👌
This is the bike of my dreams it's really really cool. I loved the video
Thanks! Check out the latest one i have just posted 🤘
Even though I'm here for the bikes, I appreciate your visual creativity like that brush to sponge transition 🙌
Thanks brother! Clean visuals for the winnnn
Had to watch that part twice! 🔥🔥

Back to doing as advertised, and viewing figures reflect it. Well done you.
I wont stop the other kinds of content matey 😅✌️i make videos based on the things i enjoy hoping others will do too
@@jishh Good for you, but views reflect what people want to watch from you.
Maybe i should start making mr beast style content 😂

explain further mate
you are right dude 👍
@@civetricamoto basically he's saying to circulate the oil without engine load..
Good to see you're back saving bikes, I hope all is well with you, good luck going forward Fam !
Good to see you back with a new project! Let's fire it up!
Good to be back matey!
Lovely looking bike Jish, quite like the colour of the fuel tank!
Its a nice colour! Eventually i will change it, but for now ill keep it
Arrows exhaust for sure, the 900 sounds so good with one of those on!
Oh they sound incredible but ill be making a custom one for sure…
finally he's back, this feels so good
Feels good for me too ✨
I love this! Subscribed!!! I want to upgrade my bike as well so glad you make videos like this.
Nice job! Looks like a great start for the project!
Looking forward to this build series. Love the look of these bikes as standard so can't wait to see what you get up to with it.
Subtle mods but will still make it my own 👏
Looking forward to this rescue.
Me too man!
Ah man this is gonna be so sick i love triumphs best of luck with it and im looking forward to the rest of the build
Great bikes aren’t they! Super exited to play with this one
Nice work dude! Seeing this thing turned into more cafe styling would be sick
It will be staying a scrambler but it will be done nicely 👌
@@jishh 👏👏
@@jishh Good. Cafe racers are a tiresome style. Everyone does them.
Looks great, looking forward to this
Thank you dude 🤘

The EML has now cleared and its just the ABS. Im sure that will clear once its been ridden

Thanks bud! To begin with some tasteful small mods ready for a trip to wales then over winter the real fun begins!
Beautiful mate
Thanks!
I hope you triumph in your endeavour
I appreciate the pun 😆
As a '19 SS owner, I'm very interested to see what and how you do it! Love the vid, looking forward to more 😄

It starts well now. It was just the very first start after being sat for over a year

The engine light often comes on after a flat battery and should disappear after a few engine starts.
It has done just that 👏
Excited for this buddy! Curious how much you picked it up for?
Ill be talking price in a later video my dude 🤘 good to be sharing some bike content again
