Crazy you haven't listened too a full album should go back and listen too those first 3 albums especially the second one balls out..been a fan since then
In the 80s, the phrase "on the prowl" isn't "creepy or predator like". Our metal heroes and rock heroes will be a distant memory. Studio creations have already moved in, and those people are being awarded grammys. Teach our young how to play a guitar, bass, drums, and sing w/o auto tune.
If you didn't live through 1987, this song isn't for you in the first place... If you did and you still don't get it, then something is horribly wrong with you. This isn't as big a joke as their other stuff is. It's a tribute to the bands of the era, some of whom we're losing to time and age, like EVH, Dio and Lemmy. They still gave you their signature crass humor in a couple places, but they focused more on making a tribute to those kids in the 80's that had Whitesnake, Poison and Priest on their walls.
@@FloridaManRacer Vile is around the same age and grew up with that stuff too. Tvfish is in his 20's so he missed that era completely but still knows about it and it's affect on the industry.
Steel Panther typically does one more "serious" video, and one "crazy" video. So if you watch their videos, you have a 50/50 chance of seeing drugs and tits. But I think Gloryhole is still their most outrageous video to date.
@TwoToeTags Thanks for responding. I watched that video and heard you say that in this video. I did not mean to recommend you watch it; I was saying that since you already watched that, all others will seem tame by comparison. It's just that some are more tame than others, and 1987 is one of the less vulgar ones. If you want recommendations, try "Party Like Tomorrow is the End of the World" or "Wasted Too Much Time."
Thumbs up for you, comment for the algorithm, and now I know that I will never listen to this band again. So I know one thing more than before, that is good!
for those of us that lived through the times they are singing about. every verse hits hard.
I think it captured the era perfectly: the ballad, the video style, guitar tone. Might be my favorite song.

How old are you JD?
@@TwoToeTags 39 and my mom listened to nothing but hair metal until 1993. Trust me it's all I knew in the car lol.

We reacted to that one and it's one of our most viewed vids on the channel lol

First two albums are their best in my opinion. You should check them out.
going to the show in march ! these guys crack my mature ass up.
Are you going to the Atlanta show?! I got VIP tickets! Can't wait!
Gee I wonder what happened in 1984
No idea!
Honestly I like some of their older stuff, kinda generic but enjoyable. This one is too slow for me tho
wanted to hear the lyrics but the guy on the left kept on talking over the top
If you want to hear lyrics it's probably better if you watch the original video instead of a reaction.
@@TwoToeTags ever heard of the pause button? It's whats used in most popular reaction videos
@@buff_stuff We don't do that here. A lot of viewers hate that style of reaction.
@@TwoToeTags would have been nice to hear what you were reacting to.... Just saying 🙄
@@buff_stuff You're free to click the Dislike button. We can't please everyone so this is what you get 🤷🏻♂️
