    I have just discovered your channel, and i am very grateful. i've struggled on asphalt for some time now and this setup has helped massively.

      Remember it is just a baseline setup, make your own changes to it as you see fit

    Thanks for your setup, it feels good, the only thing I've modified is the handbrake, I like it less aggressive.

      Is there an updated tarmac set up now?

    • @MikeyyRS
      @MikeyyRS  8 месяцев назад +1

      I am working on a new one for each location, i bundled them together after trying 1 stage of each, but not all stages are the same per location, plus people use setups in career mode and on clubs, because i can't test setups in TT in the winter etc, I am having too test them there a solo race. The setup is still functionable but i want to provide a specific setup for each location.

      @@MikeyyRS thank you for your reply, it's been a good set up for me just lengthened the final drive for faster events.

      yeah there isn't nothing wrong with it per say, but monte carlo ice isn't the best for it 😅

      Any advice on driving on tarmac with ice? I’m safe but so slow compared to others.

    • @MikeyyRS
      @MikeyyRS  9 месяцев назад

      @@sithracer Depends on the feel you have on the car, i would always say in icy conditions 1 gear higher is your friend less RPM, Dropping down too many gears can cause unnecessary rotation in the car. But you will get to gauge the speed and gears etc the more experience you get in those conditions. What platform do you play on?, and do you use wheel or controller?

    • @sithracer
      @sithracer 9 месяцев назад

      Sounds like a plan, I’ve been staying in lower gears and feathering throttle. I’ll try higher gears with less rpm this afternoon at MC while prepping for long term rally at CMS community. I play on PC with wheel + pedals. Spent several years on iracing, but these rally’s are the most fun I’ve had yet in my sim rig. Wow! Thanks again.

      The good old iRacing, not a bad start to learn car physics. I am currently making a discord, Bare with me as i want it to be close to perfect before inviting viewers into it. There should be everything there from iracing to formula to nascar to wrc.

    • @MikeyyRS
      @MikeyyRS  9 месяцев назад +1

      Use the setup for beginners, practice practice practice, for non beginners tweak it slightly to how you drive and start setting faster times 👍

    This game has such wrong physics that I did some youth season and left it there and continued with RBR RSF. Even the cars look better there not to mention the physics.

    why such an high diff ?

    • @MikeyyRS
      @MikeyyRS  9 месяцев назад +4

      This is a baseline setup designed to be the best starting point, Cut the unwanted oversteer and eliminate the understeer, Now we can't always cut it out but having a strong base is best for those who don't understand setups or don't wont to make them or even they might be newcomers to the game. The setup isn't designed to put you on Number 1 on the leader board but will certainly help get round a stage better then the default👍

      @@MikeyyRS i'm only chasing top 1 (watch Noytra l'argentera world record) i'm working on a better third section (with lots of slow turns) i prefer stock diff over low diff (i only mod ride height and gearing) i'm always slower with a low diff; i feel the car turning more; i know an higher diff for tarmac is not optimal, what should i try ? this crazy high diff ? i'm not sure about that...

      i have a very violent driving style (main vilain vibe)

    • @MikeyyRS
      @MikeyyRS  8 месяцев назад

      Well it all depends, Have you stiffened the front and rear Anti-roll bars? And made the suspension softer?
      Damping will help keep the car more stable, but has to be quiet aggressive.

      Then you may be able to set the diff however you want. But i think because you know what you are doing, Just setting the suspension and damping may help. I wouldn't want it to change your driving style too much but give it a go and let me know if it had any effect on your time

      @@MikeyyRS no i have everything stock except the ride height and the gearing (first gear delete and 4,5 gear add) is damping a suspension setting ? i don't think i lack stability at high or slow speed; i'm lacking on slow turns
