- What a great way to be able to take a set of electronic Ohlins forks and either use them in an alternative bike or do away with the electronic adjustment for your own bike. This kind of thing would suit specials builders or those that want to upgrade rather than replace using a set of fork from another model. I.e MT10SP forks in a”Normal” MT10
The inside sleeve of my Ohlins electronic fork has extended and I am not sure how to get it to return back into the upper housing if that makes sense
ditto please provide much more information and show how to install and tune
To be honest, we did t get time. In term of installation - you have to remove the old form top, strip the centre out of the top and for the manual ones and it works the same except you use a 3MM screw diver instead of the dash board - it’s turns them into conventional forks.
Mind making a video of how is this swap? 😀
We ran out of time with the instal so couldn’t. Perhaps in the next set we will
Hi, any advice on terminating the harness.. can you just tape them up? I unplugged from suspension components and no errors codes on dash.. this is rsv4 ec 2.0. thanks 🙏
heat shrink material or a reverse connector with a weather blank
Good morning, do you sell this piece? where can I find ??
We do… drop us a email info@parkittracing.co.uk
I want to know more please.
Are they any good?
Does it work well?
Price?
Thanks
hello, yes the build quality was very good, the anodising seemed very good as well - nice and uniform. does it work well.... well yes, in the sense of, you have a full range of manual adjustment. with the cost of the tops you would be looking at approx £600 - £700 depending on the exchange rate as we have to import them from Europe
Do you guys know what the perfect setting on the suspension after you guys put em?
@@johnreytegui9583 sorry for a such a long delay - everyone’s setting is different depending on how and where they rode. This is why we offer a bespoke suspension set up service but the same setting won’t work for everyone
Why would you want to change from the electronic the the manual ones?
Sometimes it doe to damage, sometimes it’s because in a race environment you don’t want a failure of an electrical part - many reasons really
main reason is to BUY take off forks and install on non electronic standard bike that can not run electronic version You can get em much cheaper than new set of manual ohlins. Why i am not buying? not enough information on how they work how well they work and IF the R1M forks will even fit the triples of the standard R1 or MT10 unless someone SAYS> I have to assume it is no go....bery poorly promoted IMHO
@@dougiequick1 that’s fair enough - it want intended as a tutorial and the tech didn’t really so a in depth video due to time. To be honest, we didnt get time. In term of installation - you have to remove the old form top, strip the centre out of the top and for the manual ones and it works the same except you use a 3MM screw diver instead of the dash board - it’s turns them into conventional forks.
