I sometimes see people give Ferrus a lot of shit due to how little lore he actually has compared to everyone else in the series but honestly? He'd be one of the most powerful and influential Primarchs if he were still alive.

‘You are mighty, Perturabo, the mightiest of us all, perhaps,’ said Fulgrim with real admiration in his voice. ‘I suspect that is why it took the maugetar stone so long to drain enough of your strength.’ - *Angel Exterminatus*
Gotta agree woth this list actually. Especially Ferrus. I'm always finding myself debating Vulcan supporters whenever this topic comes up and all I ever grt as supporting evidence is that one statement about how Vulcan used to hold back in sparring matches. As Majorkill said, The Gorgon was basically 40k Hercules even before being amped further by attaining his Necrodermis arms.
I wish ferrus didnt get killed so fast. He only died because of his faith in his strength and fulgrim was gassed up on demon semen, which surprised him
It is kinda funny then that Konrad has on the the most impressive feats of strength as a primarch when he swam through magma and then punched his way through the adamantine crust of a planet to get to the surface….as a baby.
Lion brawled with Russ for for several hours with neither one being the clear superior. Safe to say he's no slouch when it comes to a brawl, which makes Konrad beating him even more impressive.
In the Fulgrim Primarch book the lady who was trying to subjugate the planet with Fulgrim remarked that Fulgrim could rip a mountain in half with his hands. Obviously an exaggeration but I always thought Fulgrim was one of those sleeper build kind of guys.
I always wondered what happens to somebody or a group of people or xeno if they were to be stuck inside the ghoul stars for way too long. Say, these groups of people or xeno are in a massively powerful mothership, packed with many other ships. Inside said ships are perfectly stored and condition meals (if that is even a thing in warhammer 40), powerful weapons and tactically skilled armies. What happens to them if they encounter what on earth or hell lies within the Ghoul stars?
Thanks for the commendation of Ferrus. The fact that he and the Iron Hands have the shittiest lore feels weirder and weirder as I learn Ferrus was universally respected, his legion had a fantastic record in the Great Crusade, and even on tabletop they were so beastly they had to be nerfed twice. It kinda makes me feel like GW might be gearing up for something since all these positives feel fairly recent.
Yeah he was part of Guilliman's Dauntless Few, Horus said if he had him the Heresy would've been done already, people liked having him in the battlefield and trusted his commanding and Fulgrim saw him as equal enough to genuinely see him as competition when it came to perfection. Their legions were always competing. Plus the story of how he got his hands mental is cool asf, dude is a damn monster.
The problem, is for that for the sake of narration he had to die. Authors had to kill someone who was really good, but not so "esthetic" if you get what i mean. Ferrus is good & bland enough that you can kill him for the plot. And because everyone knows that he dies and don't have much of an appeal, he gets ignored by most writers.
Ferrus manus literally hammers the weapons that he makes with his bare hands. The Necrodermis was just there for fire proofing, he still had to hammer them down
Eh Lion and Russ fought each other to a standstill and were grappling, throwing, punching, etc, and his recent fight with Angron involved grappling as well so I dunno where the idea of him lacking strength comes from other than poor writing from GW when it came the Konrad fight, they have him go from being strong to physically weak to super strong again.
Yeah in Russ's Primarch book it's stated that Russ is only slightly physically stronger during their brawl. The Lion is a beast when it comes to both physicality and combat skill (cue The Lion bashing in Angron's brains with the Emperor's shield).
Since everyone talking about Ferrus I do think in the first son novel when alpharius talks to the lion about a war master he put Ferrus’s name as a contender to him and Gulliman which is pretty cool
I do find myself wishing that we had gotten more ferrus manus lore. I think his death was an incredible storytelling tool, I just wish they would have given us either a few more books about him first or put the drop site massacre a little later in time so we saw more of him. I know a lot of people see him as a brute but he was a pretty interesting character and I actually really like his aesthetic. He also really cared for his sons and I can't help but love the primarchs who deeply loved their Legionnairies. Him and his death are just so important to the storyline, I just think maybe they would have been even more impactful if we knew even more of him as a person
@@holywaterbottle3175 I kind of figured that, but after a few books I read I kind of always felt Omegon was weaker then Alpharius. There just always, at least to me, to be more of a focus on Alpharius. idk it's been a while since I read a book on them, but I feel like Omegon was more of a space marine vs a Primarch. Where Alpharius was just not as special or gifted as the other Primearchs. If that makes sense.
Eh he is mid at best. Plus he has the most boring legion, and is a rather dull character himself. Without that sword he would be nothing at this point.
@@minuette1752nah the newer books have made Guiliman one of the most interesting multi dimensional characters in the lore. He also has the most interesting relationship with one of his brothers (lion). He's as close to a good guy in the setting as you could get without being a Mary Sue and he's the only primarch that held things together after the big E went down not to mention he came back after 10 thousand years and saved the imperium and his father's "life" even tho he hates what the imperium has become he still hasn't given up. I'm shocked ppl don't like him
Great content as always. Question. How much do the primarch physical frames differ? I imagine someone like corax or kurze being skinnier and have a gymnastic frame. While vulcan or ferrus have a broader square frame like a boxer or wrestler
Thats baisically it. Many of the arts showcased here are official, like the fulgrim art right at the start and the thumbnails vulkan,as you can see the former is quite lean while the latter is quite broad. Their physiques match their attributes
@kelakogreenaddict1888 magnus honestly is the most mishandled primarch in fights. He logically would be the most physically imposing, and straight up strongest because of his sheer psychic might
@@sokratikasFulgrim, Corax and Curze are seen and described as tall and thin. Dorn is shorter than Corax but more muscular, Pert seems to be pretty big but his armor helps too. Guilliman also seems to be broader than Sanguinnius while they stand at the same height, which makes sense as he has a pretty good record as far as raw strength goes, being able to break Lorgar's armor and ribs in one blow and resist Angron for a while
Most of the primarchs are likely in a very similar height range of about 10'-11'. Only outliers on both ends of the spectrum like Alpharius and Vulkan would have a very noticeable size difference between them, with Alpharius usually being estimated to be in the 9' range, and Vulkan being around 12' tall. When it comes to weight/width, once again a big portion of the primarchs like Guilliman and Dorn would be of pretty similar sizes. You just had your outliers on both ends like the skeletally thin Kurze, Mortarion (albeit very tall) and Fulgrim to an extent. And then on the other side you had ridiculously big frames like those of Vulkan and Angron. All in all, most primarchs are pretty close in terms of raw physical strength. Where they widely vary is skill. For example, the Lion might not be able to bench press a whole lot more than Guilliman, but he is taking him out in a 1v1 duel 90% of the time.
Superb video as always @majorkill. Could you make a video dedicated to the Navigators, the major houses, their politics, relation to the overall Imperium and factions, etc
If I remember correctly, when The Lion faced off against that shape shifter in the form of Ferrus it took him several minutes to beat him because Ferrus was so strong, the only other one that took The Lion a bit to was Konrad, because Konrad used his shadow magic bullshit to try to beat Lion, still didn't work because once Lion had the upper hand the shape shifter died pretty quickly
Ferrus is so underrated. If it werent for his huge rage over the betrayal that made him make fatal mistakes, Ferrus would be considered as an overall top 3 Primarch.
There’s a guy I hate to train with in kendo. I m a large strong guy compared to him. If I can land a blow he has trouble standing. Try to hit him however. I ve only won about 5 times in 6 years of training with each other. He likes to fight me cause he can literally run circles around me and strike me as hard as he can. I can feel the blows but ain’t a big deal threw the armor. Greetings Kendoka2
Bro hasn't won a single 1v1 against another primarch. Lion quickly beat him in a duel and fought him evenly in a brawl. Magnus and Angron both bodied him until his marines jumped in to save his life. And the only reason he stood any sembleance of a chance against Horus was because of his magic spear and even then, he still ended up losing.

@@xenocide1307 the problem is with magnus is they can't make him too OP or it breaks the setting, but they've given him feats which show he is crazy powerful, but never uses them in battle: like atomising ahriman's equerry with no difficulty, or turning a lake into acid whilst fighting russ, or stopping time, or catching vulkan's swing said to destroy a warlord titan's shin with one hand, or teleporting a planet into the warp etc.
if they were to write magnus using all his capabilities, he would look into the future to predict what everyone's gonna do, stop time, then just atomise them all, or at least remove their hearts

Hey majorkill can you do a video on the people who lead the legions before their primarchs where found

I hope when Curze returns( he probably will because James Workshop likes money) he's gonna hit some gym to cure his depression

Uhhh, he def found a way to cure his depression but not in a good way
It obvious that Sly Marbo is the strongest
Not having Sanguinius on the top 5 is heresy
Ferrus Manus should be the next loyalist Primarch to return. His death was like the quarterback getting his head cut off on the first pass.
He did that because someone misspelled his name in another video
‘You are mighty, Perturabo, the mightiest of us all, perhaps,’ said Fulgrim with real admiration in
his voice. ‘I suspect that is why it took the maugetar stone so long to drain enough of your strength.’

@@XarkoCZ .....yeah, yeah
Glad to see everyone is starting to see how cool ferrus is
Gotta agree woth this list actually.
I think you overlooked Perturabo, he is extremely strong physically
Don’t matter about strength to me. The angel is my favourite. I’d totally have a nice chat, drink some tea and have a blood rage with him.
IF FULGRIM IS NOT HERE, YOU WILDING
Fun fact: Dorn was the tallest primarch but carrying the imperium single handed for seven years shrunk him.
Tf did u smoke?😂

Wrong it was farias, but after the heresy, he shrunk to be a head shorter than every other primarch
Gussy
Valrek alt lol, Dorn didn't do shit
Ferrus is my favorite so it makes me happy to see him at first
I wish ferrus didnt get killed so fast. He only died because of his faith in his strength and fulgrim was gassed up on demon semen, which surprised him
He literally called Perturbulent Rambo as Peter Turbo. 💀😭🤣

Do a video on the chief librarian from each legion.
Every time Ferrus is brought up, Im pissed and disappointed that his biggest feat is losing his head in an easy 1v1.
That Peter Turbo at 0:20 took me by surprise. Coffee on a white shirt isn't all that nice 😁
The structure of this video was a bit hard to follow, but I really enjoyed it! I’m glad to see Ferris Manus get some love.
Alphariu doesn't lose. He just tricks you into thinking he's dead and then activates his dead ringer like a spy in TF2.
Beautiful golden hawk boy, it’s just the way it is.
6:10 was waiting for him, Angron the 🐐
In the Fulgrim Primarch book the lady who was trying to subjugate the planet with Fulgrim remarked that Fulgrim could rip a mountain in half with his hands.
@@ironduke5058 He got a personal praise from King Blueberry Plot Armor himself. What the f*ck else could you possibly aspire to in 40k?
The problem, is for that for the sake of narration he had to die.
Authors had to kill someone who was really good, but not so "esthetic" if you get what i mean. Ferrus is good & bland enough that you can kill him for the plot.
And because everyone knows that he dies and don't have much of an appeal, he gets ignored by most writers.
Weakest Primarch vs Strongest Space marine!!!
Ferrus manus literally hammers the weapons that he makes with his bare hands. The Necrodermis was just there for fire proofing, he still had to hammer them down
Your lore videos are so much closer to canon and less meme-based than they used to be - huge kudos on the turnaround!
I like to think that, while Alpharius was the Head of the Hydra so to speak, Omegon definitely was stronger than his twin.
@maltheri9833agreed. They both were more than likely equal in terms of strength, as they were basically twins in almost every physical way.
I’d like to see some additional rogue trader content going up to the release of the game
I love that when you say “duel”, the subtitles read as “jewel”
I would so have loved it they brought back Ferus Manus, through overclocking his Necrodermis.
The Santa had is the first thing i ever bought from any youtuber. Keep up the good work my dude!
Mann. The Kahn is never taken into account. He was blinding fast and surprise all of his brothers.

Strongest overall: Ferrus.

Brother your videos does relives my mind . Thank you and Keep Growing 💗
Since everyone talking about Ferrus I do think in the first son novel when alpharius talks to the lion about a war master he put Ferrus’s name as a contender to him and Gulliman which is pretty cool
Was wondering why I hadn’t seen these magnificent vids in a while - YT had unsubscribed me from the channel. I’m back, baby!
What if the emperor ascended as a chaos God
I do find myself wishing that we had gotten more ferrus manus lore. I think his death was an incredible storytelling tool, I just wish they would have given us either a few more books about him first or put the drop site massacre a little later in time so we saw more of him. I know a lot of people see him as a brute but he was a pretty interesting character and I actually really like his aesthetic. He also really cared for his sons and I can't help but love the primarchs who deeply loved their Legionnairies. Him and his death are just so important to the storyline, I just think maybe they would have been even more impactful if we knew even more of him as a person
Imagine being basically half a primark and still being stronger than 3 full ones
Hey Major, is there anyway you can talk about what animals from earth still exist, and what kind of pets people have and such.
Majorkill, do an explain video on the centurion power armor or a short of it.
Leman "creating" the opening to grab Magnus... as TTS Magnus would say, "I PUNCHED OUT ONE OF HIS HEARTS!! WHY DOES NO ONE REMEMBER THAT?!?!"
What about Omegon, wouldn't he be there with Alpharius on rank of weakness?
They're interchangeable pretty much
I think it is assumed the twins are equals
@@holywaterbottle3175 I kind of figured that, but after a few books I read I kind of always felt Omegon was weaker then Alpharius. There just always, at least to me, to be more of a focus on Alpharius. idk it's been a while since I read a book on them, but I feel like Omegon was more of a space marine vs a Primarch. Where Alpharius was just not as special or gifted as the other Primearchs. If that makes sense.
Everyone knows that Guilliman is the strongest, blondie's been carrying all of humanity on his back for years.
Their physiques match their attributes
ask magnus, who can shapeshift
Love how you put these together, mate, and appreciate your effort. Thanks 😊
Thank you for keeping Ferus alive in memory.
Superb video as always @majorkill.
Could you make a video dedicated to the Navigators, the major houses, their politics, relation to the overall Imperium and factions, etc
Ferrus Manus def would have had a major ride turning role in the heresy if he didn’t get murdered
Sanguinius is the most awesome.
I back that up by really liking him ...
You are correct
Now if Ferrus is the strongest alive being able to blow up mountains and stuff. Imagine him in his super powered Legion Of The Damned form.
Haven't even watched it but if it isnt Vulkan I riot.
time for a riot then
Well he did say "it is Vulkan, but actually"
5:43 I heard that "Lorgar begun head biting Corvus".😂
I thought he almost bite his nose off.
Vulkan lives and gives out free hugs! (But do not let him boop dangerous frogs.)
Vulkan getting stabbed to death and survived is fucking insane.
Also Ferrus was a whole head taller than Vulkan, that's really impressive.

How would the imperium and the other Primarchs react to the return of clonegrim?
Leman's record against his brothers is the best, nobody else disappears entire legions...
bro had the custodes and sisters of silence's help for the thousand sons, who were basically ambushed
How the Primachs treated Imperial Army units serving under them?
