POV: You stumble across a video telling you how to switch from windows 10 to linux EASY, you are told of the benefits such as lower cpu and ram. Once you download linux you realize that its incredibly hard to download anything and your wifi won’t work so you struggle to find a solution for hours before finally throwing in the towel and watching this video
@@finger7863 Yeah same bro I also installed parrot os and deleted windows 10 now it's very difficult for me 😢

Literally me. I was promised a haven of "freedom" and less ram usage blabla bla linux isn't hard. It's moving on from windows that is hard. What a load of bs. Took me literally more than 2 days to learn and setup linux and i was greeted with the inability to access any of my drives. After hours of searching asking questions on the forum and either not getting the answer i wanted or getting called stupid. I can say it's safe to say if you're someone who isn't into computers. Do not use linux. You're wasting your time literally because of how long it is to setup anything
Every blog or video I watched only told me the process but u did a step by step tutorial and I felt so satisfied and safe to follow along. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the appreciation 🙂👍
BRO IM SO THANKFUL THAT THIS VIDEO EXISTS AND I FOUND IT I REALLY WANTED TO SHIFT TO WINDOWS . IVE BEEN TRYING SINCE MORNING AND IM EXHAUSTED. THANK YOU SO MUCH IM SAVING THIS VIDEO AND GIVING YOU A SUB
Thank you. You have saved my old small laptop which can be used for a win program which is not available to linux user. GREATLY appreciated. I did programming 45 years ago. First attempt and I did it.
Thank you soooo much! I’ve been trying to get this done for a week
Most welcome 🙂
I've been trying to do this for hours and yours was the only video that did the trick. Thanks a lot!
Thanks for the appreciation 🙂
Yep, tried Linux Mint for a week. The gameplay performance increased 30%! But slowly the problems began. Most games didnt run on Linux due to Easy Anti Cheat. Most programs required complicated setup processes. I had to trow in the towel. If you're reading this keep trying. But if you cant dont worry, its okay.
Ok
Thank you, I have absolutely nothing against Linux I really like it more than Windows but it just doesn't have that gaming support.
yea its sad
Fair enough!
Agreed.
Why not plugging a USB in and install Windows directly, deleting partitions etc?
maybe bcause windows installer wont "see" ur hard drive? i dno
Instaling linux was the worst mistake. Fake youtube bs baits you and then good luck getting back to windows.
Even with this video i still have issues doing it
what kind issues?
Thank you soooo much. This was the only good video about the subject. I really managed to restore my laptop. Again thank you.

Hi, I am quite new to this so I might have done something wrong but after we have done everything in terminal I go to restart the system and it doesn't come up with the hp thing it just comes up with Linux, can anyone help?
Try pressing some special key such as F10, Del, Esc, etc. to load the boot menu. The choose usb as first boot device.
@@TechSolvePrac i did choose USB Device, but it just ignores it and goes straight into Linux.
First you need to ensure that your flash drive is made Bootable properly. Check if windows installation files are written on it and size of the flash drive is around 6.2 GB.
Second, you need to ensure that you are able to boot from flash drive. Enter BIOS, Turn off secure boot, Enable boot from USB option, Save settings, Restart, Display boot menu, boot from USB, Install Windows and turn On secure boot again.
@@TechSolvePrac I checked and there is setup.exe and other big files for Windows 10 installation (Total size is 5.8GB), and for the BIOS, I turn off PC and then press ESC (because thats how you get to the BIOS Boot options) and then I choose the USB and it still goes directly to Linux

Great tutorial so far but I’m having issues when I reset the PC it doesn’t work and it still sends me to the standard Linux Home Screen, I have enough space on my USB stick and I’ve done all of the code correctly so far, I just don’t know what’s causing the issue.
I am having the same issue. Did you figure out a solution for that problem yet?
Yeah same here
Make sure you're entering BIOS. It differs depending on laptop but for an HP you'd press the esc key repeatedly while you turn the computer on. Be sure to do this immediately after turning it on, and then you'd press F10.
@1OO1O11O11O1O do u know what to after this?
@@fernandocamacho7423 After you set everything up in Bios so long as you prepared the usb correctly and have inserted it in an appropriate port (usb 3.0) then it should start installing
Instructions would be nice. Midway I've no idea what's going, my computer turned on normally except with enlarged icons..
I think I managed to get into BIOS after multiple attempts by pressing ESC but it's nothing like in the video, it's a black menu with 'memory test's and 'refovery mode' after choosing advanced Linux option.
EDIT finally managed to get into Boot Menu by pressing *f12* chose USB-HDD and nothing happened. My screen went black and I'm back to logging in...
thanks the video wasnt very clear on how to get into the boot menu and thats been my main problem, not alot of people are explaining how to linux properly like step by step smh
I ran into a Grub command issue and now can't access Linux even
I like your method, but don't want to delete Mint. I'd only use Windows for a few occasional purposes. I'd prefer using Windows 7 Ultimate, due to size and simplicity. I have an ISO file & supposedly good number for it. I can't get the install to run right though... yet. I have an MSI B550M MoBo and an AMD Ryzen 5 CPU.
I already have Mint running in one partition on an M.2 SSD. Mint is my main OS. I want to put Windows on a 2nd partition on the SSD. The data both will use is on a separate HDD formatted in NTFS.
It appears if I install Windows onto a 2nd partition on the SSD I could dual-boot into it, though Grub might have to be changed by something like EasyBSD.exe under Windows.
What say you, sir?
You are absolutely right ans you can absolutely install Windows over Linux Mint in dual boot mode followed by repairing grub.
I have created a separate video for that process. You can have a look at that video for going through the process: ruclips.net/video/Yoef25mOYPs/видео.html
@@TechSolvePrac: Thanks. Gonna try that later this evening.
All the best.
Can you explain what you are doing in these steps? Because I understand nothing of what's happening, and can't really follow up what's happening to repeat the steps
Sir, thanks for your guide, but can i ask you a few questions?
1. I already have the bootable windows 10 usb stick from my friend, what should i do next?
2. How can i enter this mode (5:08) if my pc is DELL pc?
thanks for answering
You need to boot from the flash drive. You need to press a function or other special key (Del, Esc, F10, F2, etc..) to enter bios as soon as systen is power on. Generally the choice is briefly flashed on screen when the computer powers on.
Enter BIOS/ UEFI setup, turn off secure boot, enable boot from usb option, save settings, restart.
Press some function key again to display boot menu (F9, F12, etc...) to display boot menu, boot from usb, install windows and turn on secure boot again. The function keys are different on different make and model of computers, the required key is generally displayed when system boots.
If still not booting then try "Enable legacy boot" option then try again.

These settings are provided under different options or menus in BIOS setup by different computer vendors. You need to enter BIOS setup and search for these options carefully.

If you really find you cannot do it with Linux, then try to find access to another PC/laptop (ie public access computers perhaps like at a library, hotel, etc) so you can do as I said from a Windows machine.

For domestic and Office use Microsoft and it's products provides an ease of use to less technical users. Process for installing OS is equally complicated for them.
