I know him from his podcast / podcast appearances… I always thought he was the funniest person I have ever had the privilege of listening to, so I decided to look up his stand up…..I didn’t laugh, he bombed this the audience wasn’t engaged or impressed and while I normally find his sense humor hilarious this just came off bad. Must just be one of those naturally funny people, in the right setting

If they decide to space out and only digest simple quick stand up jokes instead of detailed story telling then that’s their fault. A hilarious comedian doesn’t need a crowd to be hilarious, Joey can be riffing with just one dude and be just as funny. It’s makes no sense that you determine someone’s funny or not by the crowd.
