    Sweet! Nice compact install. 1,200 watts is much more usable, though my wife and I lived FT in a MH with only 620 watts of solar for 4 years, boondocking most of the year. Your customer will be delighted with all the extra power.

    Is overheating on the charge controller an issue? Looks like free air flow is limited. I like the upgrade.

      That’s a great question. The raceways are slotted so there is air movement. We won’t really know until it gets warm enough. That said I’d say this customer is in a be position now because the heat sink is nearly double in size while the amps only increased by 20 from 50 to 70. So thermally there should be more headroom. Lastly all the Victron equipment derates if it gets too hot .

    I have a Venture RV Sonic which looks just like that camper, with a fiberglass roof. How did you mount the panels?

      #14 1” roofing screws dicor under and over brackets.

      Thanks for the screw type info, but how did you mount them. I don’t think there is wood on the roof, did you screw into the aluminum support braces that the fiberglass roof lays on?
