FAQ
Q: What is timestop?
A: Timestop is the state you get when preforming this trick. Things like doors, npcs, and loading zones cant be interacted unless the textbox is canceled or stored with things like tube mode, which just resumes time as normal making everything interactable again
Q: Where can you go out of bounds
A: We only know of one place in Rogueport West.
Q: Can you bring this into battles
A: Yes, you can do a spring jump and let the animation end when entering a battle, you can also switch partners after the spring jump
Q: Any other effects from this?
A: You can make Mowz invisible by hitting a save block or a heart block, as well as disable hazards like spikes from moving
Q: Any softlocks or crashes.
A: Currently we know that getting alot of text boxes and getting items like from shop points will crash. If you run into a hazard in timestop, you can stop Mario from softlocking by just ending the textbox.
Q: How to get the camera effect
A: Simply use tube mode when in timestop and on top of a loading zone to create this effect
Q: How to get rid of the camera effect
A: You can undo the camera glitch by charging spring jump or unfurling from tube mode a second time.

I was messing with this glitch and while trying to do the trouble where the toad needs to meet Luigi when she gives me the cake with storage still there it crashes the game

I discovered that if you perform the glitch inside of the keyhal key shop, if you go outside the door, you can explore a gray version of the room and Mario is completely black in the gray area

If you do this then go into the inn next door then go back then go into the backtrack pipe it will crash your game

2:35 if you do that glitch while hitting the save file, ms mowz can’t be hit and when you stand on a platform and then walk off, she just floats.
Edit: it works with heart block too.

I noticed that grabbing a star piece while this is active brings up the star piece obtaining textbox, but it can’t be closed with A. Attempting to close it with B crashes the game.

heres something funny when you go into the room with the spanias and spunia and use this glitch at the right time their bodies would just keep spinning and its just fun to watch(probaly happens with all types of spinas but im at the point where they dont show up in any other rooms beside than the boat room and the pit of 100 trials)

If you go through any area that flips the camera perspective (e.g. the gap between buildings in east rogueport) the camera doesn't flip and you can see into the buildings if you get in the right spot.
