what was dacia then ... in the 80' yeras and what is now ..... the brand with the biggest grown sales in europe past 10 years ! the logan ... logan mcv ... sandero lodgy docker and duster are cars made 4 normal people who need an onnest and reliable car .... and no wonder why its selling ..... cheap to buy ... cheap to mantain and f corse ..... very very very reliable (no suspension or electric or many other eassues ... engines ... like a tank and all at a decent price ... no rub the costumer !!! thats why this brand have the biggest grow in car industry in last 10 years ! why shoud i buy ... a corsa ... a fabia an fiesta or a polo ????? i buy a sandero ... why buy a ww caddy ford connect or else .... buy a da ia docker ..... same class cars but obiosly much bigger much reliable and f corse minimum 2000€ cheaper the dacias sandeo or docker comparing to others ... big reason to buy a dacia sandero or docker instead of other mentioned up !!! bravooo DACIA and RENAULT !

I miss my first car - Dacia 1410 TLX break, cyber green. I bought it in 1989 and kept it for 10 years (120,000 km.) I had transformed it into a hippy van.

1310 (and most of the other models onwards) have a 1.4L engine 56hp and the 1410 sport had 64hp.
Most 1307 came with a 1.9 Diesel engine (a lot of them were also 4x4 with diff) and a few with the 1.6L. Never with the 1.4L engine.

@@bigouncer4029 Dacia is not the only cheap car , there are more , some of them with more quality that dacia , i love the 2020/2021 logan , but a 2004 logan have no quality , plastic , and more cheap materials , it a good cheap car for a simple person , but you can find another cheap car with a little more quality that dacia (sorry for my english ,im form romania and im not that good at english)

Incredible how long they dragged on with the Renault 12 design... 30 years after Renault presented it and 25 years after they gave it up....

Some of the 1970s models look like the Renault 12?
It is because it's a Renault 12 license but Dacia made a lot of "face lifts" along the years somewhat modernizing the look instead of designing something new. First years of the 1300 were only put together in Romania all the parts came from Renault. After Dacia produces all the parts in house the quality dropped
First, it was Renault 12 then it got improved until the early 2000s, basically like UX design
You forgot the Dacia Toros!!
So actually Dacias evolution is the same as Renaults up to year 2000 minus 15 years compared when Renault released the same model. From 2000 onwards Dacias models are own models.
