Welcome to the channel of Todd Family Farm
We are a family farm in central Iowa. There's Papa and Granny, Adam and Jill and 7 children.
This is a channel started and ran by the kids with their parents help, we hope you subscribe.

Thanks for taking us along. The corn patch was a little surprising to me, but I reckon deer are 'opportunistic eaters' and go where there is a food source. It's a bummer that your trees were killed, but it's best to remove them before they create a real problem! Stay warm and safe!

The remainder of a tree behind you @5:41 looks like sort of the Statue of Liberty 🗽, from this angle. The Emeral Ash Borer, killed almost all Ash trees in Ohio as well, wee had a dozen ( quite large and tall ), removed from our yard over 10,000$.

Wow! You guys made short work of those tree limbs. I don't like to see shady trees go either but once they start to rot and get dangerous it is better. God bless the TFF.
A big job well done Todd family!! Nothing fell on the house and no one got hurt, although the last big stump looked pretty close to fall on dad! 😮 Probably just only from the cameras angle😊. Also the standing corn was probably a buffet for the deer during the blizzard last month! 😅 Great video Abby!! I love watching your videos! ❤

Hope can plant some fast growing trees to replace them. Hybrid Poplar is one of the fastest.

Great video Abby, as usual, I have to say it was great😂,to see Ms. Jocelyn eating close up😂,and Ms.Abby, Ms.Emma,Mr.Lemuel,as well as the rest of the siblings who's names I can't remember,all working together outside. Those deer must have been huuuunnngggrrry critters during the Iowa Blizzards, haha,they savagely tore that corn up,but,they did it discreetly and left the shucks on😅

Abby i wish i could get you to educate this new breed of truck drivers the importance proper foot wear, you make me proud to see you put on your work boots 👢,.I am the same way as you gotta have work boots on my feet, and yes I'm a truck driver who grew up on a family Dairy farm.

Are y'all sure it wasn't rats that ate the corn? I would think that if it was deer the ears would be on the ground. Deer really mess up gardens here. TC God bless y'all 🙏

Yes, we did keep some firewood from them. We are planning on planting a couple trees to replace them too.

Now there ya go Miss Abby (and Miss Emma), some boring ol' chores and ya got a good vid out of it. And while you were filming what is to you the dull and mundane, it was time to clear out some trees and fire up that ol chainsaw. This kind of content NO ONE can replicate because your farm is unique, your family is unique, and even though others may be similar, no two are like and no presentation is alike. Good stuff there kiddo, enjoyed it. God bless you one and all. BTW, maybe dad should haul you over to the nearest Red Wing store and get you a pair of those world famous Iron Rangers! Got mine, just like my Grandfather bought me when I was a young cattle herder!

Cid you count tree rings on that big one to see how old it was?
The rings are hard to see on that one. Our other big tree that was on the other side of our house and got taken out by a derecho in 2020 had about 120 rings. We are thinking this tree wasn't quite that old, but close.
I see that you're dad did not do eny face cuts just back cuts all the way through. And he should have climbed the tree not off a ladder.
He had face cuts on everything, and as you saw, everything came down right where he wanted, he said the ladder was safer in a dead smaller tree like that, he's not been wrong so far
