Abby, very enjoyable video. Both you and Emma are tough, strong young ladies! Maybe keeping a short step ladder in the hog house would help you with those hard to reach vents? I notice your channel has reached 325K subscribers! Well deserved! You and family have worked very hard over the past few years to make an excellent RUclips channel. God has blessed your faithfulness!❤
What a busy week you all had! The timing of the rain was sure a blessing ! This has been a wonderful Spring season for the Midwest. Praise God! 🤗 Tell Lemuel not to feel bad,.. I missed many a buckets in my lifetime! 😂
Wow, 325k subs, 2.4k views, and the TFF has evolved into one of the premiere YT farm life channels, all the while DEMONSTRATING their faith through their walk and their demeanor and their actions. America finally gets to see what I have always called "a living faith." Not words, but discernible through lives lived. Miss Abby, as always, your presentation and production values are top drawer while still keeping it all personal. And how you interweave the entire family into your vids almost seems seamless at times. Almost as seamless as the synchronicity that you and Miss Emma demonstrate in all that you two do together. I truly believe that by your family keeping God First in all that you do, I would dare venture that "just maybe" He has a hand in filling in the blank spaces. And that goes back to dear ol' mom and dad keeping the family train on the rails. God bless you one and all...
Great opening verse of scripture youngin. I sat and watched the video and was thinking is there anything you kids cant do😮😮👍👍👍. Thanks for all the great memories of my life growing up on the farm 👍👍🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🙏🙏🙏⚘

Great video. I enjoyed seeing the lambs go to Kalona. I heard they had a new way to unload since I was there in 2022 and I could see part of it in your video. You are all such hard workers and will be even busier with all those pigs.
Howdy Todd Family, I hope ya'll are doing well, April 30th, that was my birthday lol 54 years young, we raise beef on our Family Farm, with 280 head, and with that we're pretty busy, we also grow our own feed, you said 1,600 head of hog...whoa !! Thats a lot of head for ya'll to raise and deal with, Wow !! I gotta say, thats a impressive amount of livestock to deal with, I wish all the success to ya'll, Great video, I did enjoy watching, Thank you, Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends
“Whoa” Abby I don’t think I’ll be giving you an arm wrestle for a while…what kinda weight were those lambs you were hand balling over the fence…and then shifting them heaters around on an old pair of trucks…no holding back this 5’2”er…total respect…thank you for another really good video love seeing y’all again 👍
Love, love, love the video Abby.I do declare that you &Emma are monsters at accomplishing things.Lemuel is coming right along in his own right,as well. Absolutely love the entire Todd Family
Abby, concerning being "five foot two", did you know there was a very famous song written about you in 1925? [ "FIVE FOOT TWO, EYES OF BLUE, HAS ANY BODY SEEN MY GIRL"] This song was sung by great old time singers like AL JOLSON AND BING CROSBY. Now you are famous too, as America's favorite farm tuber! God bless!❤
I'm looking forward to following your 'pig' journey! I've seen those pig barns and often wondered how they operated. Is the waste pumped out from under the barn into some type of pit?? I hope the recent string of severe weather did not adversely affect yall.
Heavenly Father, We pray that you bless the land that has yielded it's fruits, vegetables, and grains. Bless the hands that have sown the seeds, tended the crops, and harvested the produce. We offer all of these to you , and we ask that you keep on bestowing upon us an abundant harvest. Bless the sun shining on the crops on mother earth and the rain nurturing the growth of the plants. Bless those who will partake of this bounty, that you may nourish them in body and soul. You have allowed us to work so actively, and so, we extend our gratitude to your devotion, continue to bless us, Lord, so that we may be able to help not just our families but also our neighbors, we ask these things in the name of the Father,Son, and holy Spirit, forever and ever. Amen
The heaters weigh about 125#. How did you lift the old ones down, get the replacement lifted into position? You could not get the tractor with forks into the building. Good job! Wish you well with the pigs.
Great video Abby, so glad you got some rain on your crops. Just a couple of questions how long do you keep the pigs before they are ready to be shipped out? And how often do you pump the manure out of the hog houses and do you spread it on your crop ground?
Thanks Britt! It takes about 3 1/2 months to get them to ready to sell weight. The pits get pumped out once a year in the fall after harvest is done. Yes, it will go on our crop ground.
I'm absolutely certain that I would switch my job to work on a farm again. I firmly believe that everyone should experience it at least once to understand the importance of providing our livestock with the best possible healthy welfare product before it reaches the consumers. Without a doubt, the most challenging aspect for me would be dispatching them.
Hi Abby, how are you? Yes, I enjoy. Got live baking to eat now I know it’s a lot work. and I see you and Sister work together very well. And I hope you have a good day. Take a break you look tired your friend always.
Holy smokes exciting times ahead. Nice rain for your crops. Lambs went to market and a mountain of feeder pigs in house. Go for it you guys !!!

5/21/2024 Abby, looks like dangerous weather for Iowa again today. Am praying God will keep you and family safe!❤ God bless!❤
The worst of the storms went around us. Another small community in southwest Iowa was devastated by a tornado.
@@ToddFamilyFarm Yes, heard that Greenfield, Iowa, was devastated by tornado today. May God help those folks!❤

Enjoyed the video. Seems diversified with the hogs. Every little bit counts in today's farming industry.

Abby, it looked like the orange cat, Ginger, bit Emma's hand. Hasn't that cat ever heard that you don't bite the hand that feeds you? LOL. 😊😺❤

The pit is directly under the barn. It is 8ft deep. We have the manure pumped out and applied on our fields in the fall.
@@ToddFamilyFarm Thanks for the response! I learned something today!!
Hi from Dexter🏠Missouri
That’s a lot of ham lol 😂
Your parents are blessed to have HARD working children! Please be careful when lifting heavy objects

These heaters were 250lbs each. We had several men who were working on the propane lines who installed them for us.
@@ToddFamilyFarm Thanks. I was sure that your team collectively created a scheme to lift them into position.
Super💯video
Great!
enjoyed
Did I miss some of Farmathon this year, or did it go by extremely fast?
It did go by fast! We took advantage of nice weather and didn't have any major breakdowns. 😊
can you make a funny video trying to catch piglets or chickens? LOL!

I have a quick question when Lemuel was loading of the lambs helped ? To carry the heavy Lambs ? Greetings
Abby carried them to Dad who loaded them onto the trailer. They were good sized lambs and wiggling around so they were a bit much for Lemuel.
@@ToddFamilyFarm Many thanks for the anwer.
Bacon!!! Bacon!!! Bacon!!! Mmmmmm-Mmmmmm!!!
Good gravy! Soooo much work getting set up. So is it more profitable leasing out the pig barns or raising them yourselves?
It tends to work best when we raise the hogs.😊
Only Eco Friendly Agriculture, Farming Dairy are Done likeBig Industry, No smoke, no dust or any kind of Atmomsheric pollutions 🎉❤️❤️👍👍🙏
How many pigs do you put in each pen?? I’d like to see how you work them if possible..
We put 120 pigs in each pen. We will have more videos about them soon!
😊👍👍👌🐷🐖🐑
Are those Yorkshire feeders ? Thanks 😊
The breeds are so mixed now that the commercial pigs are not purebred.
