It took me a while to realize Lambda's body in this image is broken, or at least her left hand and elbow along with her right forearm are missing and her left leg is bent in a painful way (probably the result of her fight with Featherine)
The OST is around 200. And then there's dozens of remix/rearrange/cover and image song albums made by doujin circles, some of it are even made by the OST composers.
I just realized today that I mistranslated a few lines and now the song makes much more sense. It seems that Lambda is talking at a distance about Beato's game, and how she is Beato's sponsor. She watches Beato and Battler, laughing at them and frustrated that no one seems to take her seriously, yet feeling a little sorry for them.
Thanks for the translation. Here Beato talks to Battler, "I have always been teaching you, I have always been laughing at you, you're so pititful" etc. pp.
I would like to add in another idea. What if this song could also be Eva-Beatrice/Eva to Ange and perhaps a little bit to Battler? Except instead of "finding the truth" it's more of "Trying to live your life"? [SPOILER] In the manga, in the Magic ending it's shown that Battler and Eva actually met once when the forgeries were being created and Eva wanted to meet the authors. Battler still had brain damage, but Eva was surprised that he survived. So the line of "the foolish man on the brink of death realizes the meaning of the wings he has" could refer to Battler regaining his memories only when he got older.
GentlemanAeon777 I think when she mentioned the line about the wings, it was making an allusion about all of the chances he had to discover the truth throughout episodes 1-4...in the Meta-World from Lambdadelta's point of view.
Why is the image one of Lambda when this song is very clearly sung by Beato/Sayo to Battler? "If the voice that you've always, always been listening for reached your ears, then surely everything wouldn't be repeating, because it would be settled" "How many times will it repeat? How many times, how many times until you notice?" "I won't hide or overlook your true Sin." These lines just SCREAM Beato. Also, the ending line ("Your journey is already over, and all you've left behind is the true story") is a pretty clear reference to the beginning/end of EP7.
You could view it as Lambda lamenting the fact that despite all the hints she's dropped, Battler still doesn't figure out the answer by the end of Ep5.
This isn't Lambda. It's Beato singing to Battler. The lyrics are more indictive than the scene in which it played. This song's instrumental plays before the vocal version anyway.
Oh my gosh I've been trying to figure out what this song was, it's been stuck in my head for weeks sinced I finished the Answer Arcs. Didn't even know this was Lambda's image song. Ugh! I love this!

bc it plays for Lambda vs Bernkastel

I also look at this from the perspective of Battler's story he's trying to weave to Ange in ep8
I just noticed that her stitches were undone....
