Put it through a resonator, soft or hardware and you could shape some very organic tones from this. In software, Moodal and Supermodal get a lot of use from me. They would sound heavy with this. Hardware examples I'm not too aware of, but I'm sure there's a few especially in Eurorack format.

@@kewilliamte no velocity over midi as far as I can tell - maybe they’ll update it in the firmware. Hope so!

You've got some very nice sounds from this. Does the SY1 respond to pitch? Or is that being done via an LFO on the unit?

You can manually trigger each channel, but better to control it by midi or cv
