The 35mm panoramic conversion kit viewfinder mask is only held in place securely with a normal rear viewer or the light metered finder. Neither the Chimney nor the Waist Level finders hold the mask in place. They lack a protrusion the rear viewer has.
To my understanding, the only viewfinder accessory that requires the lens be removed is the prism - whereas every other accessory does not interact with the chain - is that correct?
The 90 degree elbow finder lets me see correctly, that is, right side up, to compose a shot when looking into it sideways!
