I would also learn wielding, hydraulics, some electrical engineering or lithium and or other form of battery powered production/ electrical engineering and make me some bionic legs.

thats what i did. i never rode a sportbike let alone a super sport and i went out and bought a 2016 ktm 1290 sdr. respect the power and learn the bike before you push it and do proper maintenance and you will be fine.

Meh... I've owned 600's, 700's, 750's all my life. I've ridden 900, 1000, 1300x 1400. I like the 600s more because you can throw them around easier. I dont need that much more power to have a great ride.

I tested a z1000, street triple, gsxs 1000, daytona 675, monster 821, mv agusta 675 and F4, yamaha xsr900 and I STILL came back to my GSXR 600. The only bike that came close was the Monster 821 but i passed on it because it had a stupid footpeg issue. Street triple engine was great, but not good ergonomics for me.

I own a gsxr 1000 but owned a 636 previously. They are great bikes and you can feel the extra cc's compared to a normal 600. I find kawi's ergos better suited to my frame and pretty comfortable but I have long arms and legs. I love my gixxer but its a lot harder on me position wise after a 100 or so miles even after adjustments.
Fun to see her ride it, I only have the GSX-R150: 2017 and I am a small rocket next to her riding,,, but she's a girl and her first time on the Suzukiiiiiiiiii wow!!, Well, its like coffee the more you drink the more you can handle drinking
Nothing hotter than a girl who rides. BTW, when new riders jump on a Gix 6, they often don’t realize what a peakie motor the bike has. It’s almost like my old 2-stroke. Very narrow power band. Many years ago on my 1997 R600, a buddy with a Katana rode my bike and told me how weak it was. I raced him and obviously left him in the dust. On the ‘97 model there was a moderate jump in HP at about 5 or 6k. But the second-and more substantial-power band was from 9k RPM up to about 12k. That’s when the front wheel goes airborne without clutching it. So a person can short shift the Gixxer on low HP output and be underwhelmed. But if you tell them where the power band is, it will make an impression.
That's awesome she can handle herself on the 750 dude. She rides better than 95% of the dudes at the ATL meetup. Lol...Hell yeah.....Now about that 6tree6, let her sit on Sophia and its a wrap...that triple life tho..=)

Well if she likes her kawi, then she is more likely to buy another! Ive always wanted a honda, but after getting rid of my ninja 250r, I decided to go with the zx6r instead of cbr600rr.
I have yet to ride a Honda or Kawasaki. No prejudice against them. I've just always owned Yamahas until I got my GSXR. I had a '93 FZR600, a '03 R6, and a '15 FZ07 before this bike. I also had a '08 Triumph Street Triple. R6 has been my favorite but I like to try new things. I heard great things about the GSXR so that's what I bought this time. I've only put about 1200 miles on it but I really like it.
I'd be like: If you touch my mirrors, I'll keep the toilet seat up for a month. Then you see what it's like. ;-D Her bike has a nice instrument layout - needle center top and digital below. 7:50 You almost touched the heart together. ;-) - It's also beautiful how there are skid marks around it.
Any road is better than letting it sit in the garage, track douche. Also a good place to take an novice rider, straight, low traffic road. Yes she's definitely new to it. BTW, whatever bike you have, curves are funner, Harley Davidson or a little 250 streeter. I got a Warrior, Sportster 1200 and a CX500, and I drive 40 miles 1 way after work to get to the fun roads with curves and hills with curves. It's all good if your not a snob like you. Bet I could smoke you with my 1200 Harley on curves with whatever you drive.

They are superb engines and are right up there along with the Aprilia V4 as my favourite motors. If someone put a gun to my head and forced me to chose, then I'd probably rate the Triple 1050 motor as my all round favourite as they are just so good at every point of the rev range, plus they sound awesome

i'm the same height as you, riding yamaha r3. i think that gixxer is the same height as my bike so yeah i think it should not be a problem. oh yeah and gixxer does have one of the lowest seat height in the supersport category if i am not mistaken
i have one of my mates, same height, riding a bmw s1000rr. of course he tiptoed but if you have the experience and confidence, nothing is impossible :)
No offense but she's sat on the R6 and didn't like it very much. Plus it makes most of its power higher in the RPM's which isn't great for practical riding, good for the track but not really how we ride.
To be honest me. Only because I like the way it is. If I want to go faster I'll put the cash on motor work. I like my top end, don't like allot of shifting, that's for the track.
I absolutely hate the bars on the Kawasaki sport touring series bikes. They are mounted high and off the forks with a visually ugly top clamp. Its feels numb and looks uninspired. Actually Kawasaki suck - I had two and rebuilt 5 motors between them. Junk - absolutely crap. 2nd least would be, sorry to say Suzuki, for similar reasons. I will say Suzuki does pretty well from time to time but they've been nowhere in racing for a while now. Honda makes a good bike. Not as good as it should be for a company with the resources they have. They should be building bullet proof motors but they are just as vulnerable as any other bike. Yamaha is by far the best manufacturer out there by a long shot. Quality is stellar, focus on chassis and handling above all has been their signature for 50 years. They are not afraid to take chances and their design leaps are so radical and smart that all four bike builders are still using features that were first seen in 1998 on the original R1. IE Super condensed, low weight, small size and race purposed cluster, the headlight design is still visible is Honda and Kawi today. Kawasaki blatantly copied the R1 for the 2000 ZX6R, I mean just copied it top to bottom. EXUP, shift linkage going through the frame and there are many more. A lot of the bikes out right now owe many features to the 98 R1. Even the 2015 isn't the leap that the first one was. ... OK - I digress... Her reaction was cool. Tell her not to get a Kawi. They just aren't good bikes.
Suzuki SRAD design was copied by Yamaha and others and the 97up SRAD’s 750 dominated all other 750s and Honda,Yamaha etc stopped building them “apparently because Suzuki’s srad750s were too good”. Handling,Power,speed,strength... I had a 98 srad 750 with over 100,000klms on it and it still went very well.

Lets say en engineer designs a component that is visually stunning and technically perfect but knocks down 3HP or adds 3lbs to the bike. Yamaha will leave that component for the form and function aspect and look to gain back the 3 lbs/3hp elsewhere.. And it really shows - well it used to - I have no idea what any of the factories are thinking with the latest lego bikes - The Italians have kept their heads the most in this regard). But anyway Yamaha does this and thatch why they always out cool just about everybody in the style department. Besides.... CROSSPLANE MOTOR SOUND - and torque delivery..... **SPLAT**
Chris Stratton the SRAD was 96-99models even though the 2k+ had ram air intakes too. Just what is referred to SRAD is meant by the first Suzuki with it standard. SRAD had this sticker on these bikes 96-99 fat bottom tails but an absolutely uncomfortable bike for anything more than 15-30mins. My butt still holds a grudge and my lower back lol

Well if she likes her kawi, then she is more likely to buy another! Ive always wanted a honda, but after getting rid of my ninja 250r, I decided to go with the zx6r instead of cbr600rr.
I have yet to ride a Honda or Kawasaki. No prejudice against them. I've just always owned Yamahas until I got my GSXR. I had a '93 FZR600, a '03 R6, and a '15 FZ07 before this bike. I also had a '08 Triumph Street Triple. R6 has been my favorite but I like to try new things. I heard great things about the GSXR so that's what I bought this time. I've only put about 1200 miles on it but I really like it.
Maybe because the zx6r is the best looking 600ish SS other than the 675R.

Any road is better than letting it sit in the garage, track douche. Also a good place to take an novice rider, straight, low traffic road. Yes she's definitely new to it. BTW, whatever bike you have, curves are funner, Harley Davidson or a little 250 streeter. I got a Warrior, Sportster 1200 and a CX500, and I drive 40 miles 1 way after work to get to the fun roads with curves and hills with curves. It's all good if your not a snob like you. Bet I could smoke you with my 1200 Harley on curves with whatever you drive.

Kutsy I love the gsxr headlight because it looks normal with low or high beam on pretty much every other bike on low beam it looks like one headlight is out

They are superb engines and are right up there along with the Aprilia V4 as my favourite motors. If someone put a gun to my head and forced me to chose, then I'd probably rate the Triple 1050 motor as my all round favourite as they are just so good at every point of the rev range, plus they sound awesome

i'm the same height as you, riding yamaha r3. i think that gixxer is the same height as my bike so yeah i think it should not be a problem. oh yeah and gixxer does have one of the lowest seat height in the supersport category if i am not mistaken

Oh she'll love the 636,i had the latest model which was quick and then with my mods it was damn quick and could keep up with almost anything.
I absolutely hate the bars on the Kawasaki sport touring series bikes. They are mounted high and off the forks with a visually ugly top clamp. Its feels numb and looks uninspired. Actually Kawasaki suck - I had two and rebuilt 5 motors between them. Junk - absolutely crap. 2nd least would be, sorry to say Suzuki, for similar reasons. I will say Suzuki does pretty well from time to time but they've been nowhere in racing for a while now. Honda makes a good bike. Not as good as it should be for a company with the resources they have. They should be building bullet proof motors but they are just as vulnerable as any other bike. Yamaha is by far the best manufacturer out there by a long shot. Quality is stellar, focus on chassis and handling above all has been their signature for 50 years. They are not afraid to take chances and their design leaps are so radical and smart that all four bike builders are still using features that were first seen in 1998 on the original R1. IE Super condensed, low weight, small size and race purposed cluster, the headlight design is still visible is Honda and Kawi today. Kawasaki blatantly copied the R1 for the 2000 ZX6R, I mean just copied it top to bottom. EXUP, shift linkage going through the frame and there are many more. A lot of the bikes out right now owe many features to the 98 R1. Even the 2015 isn't the leap that the first one was. ... OK - I digress... Her reaction was cool. Tell her not to get a Kawi. They just aren't good bikes.
I`d say there were two engines that stand above all others in the last 30 or so years, the 20 valve EXUP and the gear driven VFR 750 engine.
Suzuki SRAD design was copied by Yamaha and others and the 97up SRAD’s 750 dominated all other 750s and Honda,Yamaha etc stopped building them “apparently because Suzuki’s srad750s were too good”. Handling,Power,speed,strength... I had a 98 srad 750 with over 100,000klms on it and it still went very well.
@@matsullivan5861 I have all the respect in the world for the 88 Slingshot. That is another bike that 'started it all'. I can sum up in one sentence why I love Yamaha. Lets say en engineer designs a component that is visually stunning and technically perfect but knocks down 3HP or adds 3lbs to the bike. Yamaha will leave that component for the form and function aspect and look to gain back the 3 lbs/3hp elsewhere.. And it really shows - well it used to - I have no idea what any of the factories are thinking with the latest lego bikes - The Italians have kept their heads the most in this regard). But anyway Yamaha does this and thatch why they always out cool just about everybody in the style department. Besides.... CROSSPLANE MOTOR SOUND - and torque delivery..... **SPLAT**
Chris Stratton the SRAD was 96-99models even though the 2k+ had ram air intakes too. Just what is referred to SRAD is meant by the first Suzuki with it standard. SRAD had this sticker on these bikes 96-99 fat bottom tails but an absolutely uncomfortable bike for anything more than 15-30mins. My butt still holds a grudge and my lower back lol
