I had to adjust the angle of head lights AND fog lights after doing this. One was way high, one was way low. But the fog lights were even worse. They were pointing higher than the headlights!
Thankful for this video. I have a 2020 jl. Put in the plug and play led bulbs. I noticed the "bright lights" don't seem much different than regular lights. You guys feel the same?
I ordered the following, Products 1 x 3030 SMD High Power 7443 7440 White LED Bulbs | Set of 2 (7443-3030-14W-White) = $34.99 And did not work on my 2018 JL Rubicon. They would not snap into place, they also didn't power up, I tried both, i placed my OEM bulbs and they worked fine. I contacted JDM Astar and will be returning them. They recommended me measure the plugs and send it to them so they can match it up to a bulb that works.
J. Orozco I had an issue with them too but I found out that you have to hook them up the right way. If it does not work one way flip them over and plug it in. If this makes sense. If not you can just try the new ones they give you I guess.
Just curious, there was a fan on the led, with the light cover on, there won't be any air to cool your led. I had a similar problem with leds burning up in my sister's SUV. So I ended leaving the cover off the light for ventilation.
Tracy Fisher I was thinking the same thing. I had mine on for about a year no issues and we do alot of night driving. I also would choose burning out the bulbs than having condensation in your headlights with the covers off. We now own a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and we put in the same led bulbs in no issues with cover on.
Hey, I bought the DRL’s from JDM for my 2019 JL. They work well! But during day time, on AUTO: they dont seem to come on. Although they switch on at night with all lights on (on AUTO). Against the point of being DRLs.. any solution?

JDM bulbs look like the Supernova v4s that I got from Headlight Revolution. Think it was $600 for all the front end lights. Wish I heard JDM before I found HR.
Sounds like you have a wrangler sport? The sport only has one bulb. You can get a switch back that turn orange when the turns are on. If you have the sahara and rubicon you have 2 bulbs one for day time running light and one for turn signals.

I decided to go with beamtech H13 LED 50 w 8000 lumens for 38.99 a pair on Amazon, great reviews from jeep owners. Installed yesterday and super bright. I also ordered Alla Lighting Canbus 2504 PSX24 LED Fog lights for 24.99 in Amazon, get here today. Also had great reviews. Might try the Astar 7443 for drl and turn signal.

Yes I tried that, tried both bulbs, at one point I thought I was going to break the bulb forcing them in there.

You might have the drl off in the settings.

Joe Sainato I recommend switchback bulbs. Higher quality led, and it gives you your white drl and the amber turn signal as well

2020 jlu. Sport same lights so what size bulbs online says one thing websites say another
They all have same lights bulbs except the fender lights sport only has 1 bulb and rubicon has 2 on each

Have you tried turning them around? Sometimes the contacts does hit the socket
I believe they update the light bulbs everytime. I could not find the same bulbs. Same number bulb should work.
