Thanks for lighting up the path of bait making for us Plebeians. Much appreciated sir.
I’m just doing what I can lol. Thanks for watching 🤙
Awesome video! This gives me some good ideas for some new products I have in the pipeline...
That’s exciting news to hear 👀 can’t wait to see what all comes out next!!
I agree with your “rabbit hole” comment, sort of. Let’s call it was it is though for all of us who go down the rabbit hole. We have an addiction. 🤣
Hi my name is Jacob….. and I’m an addict 😂
Hi, my name is Apple and I have a serious addiction 😉
Your not alone lol
I will attend the meeting 👍🏼
Awesome man. Just awesome. Your content just keeps getting better and better! Your definitely Raising the Bar! 🍻👊🏻
I really appreciate that!! Appreciative people like yourself are why we continue to make these videos!! Thank you and thanks for watching 🤙
Good stuff man, made some mondo Barlows orders recently that will overhaul my powder painting materials - excited to start playing around with options!
All I’ll say is the lava craw powder paint mixed with some other goodies makes some dynamite colors lol 💥 thanks for watching Adam 🤙
Does it stop there, nope 😂. Great video as usual! Love the Tn Shad color, looks great!
It’s a never ending cycle 😂 I seem to find new things in my garage all the time lol
Been a sub for a while. I like what you do and your clear presentation of how you do it.
I really appreciate that Art!! My main focus is to be a good resource for people wanting to get into the hobby or learn more about it
Great video, thank you
Thanks for watching 🤙
Killer video as always! I buy bulk powder coat powder from prismatic powders the colors they have are insane. Plus they have colorshifting powders and choke some are better than others but I mix and match like you. The clear coats are awesome matte to super high gloss, metallic clears, seasonal colors etc 😂 also flakes work great in epoxy or brush on clear coats also. Tight lines bro 👍🏼🎣💯
Ya I have a few colors from companies that have nothing to do with lure making. Some of the automotive suppliers have some incredible colors. I have a few more on the list to pick up lol. Thanks for watching 🤙
@@N2TW_customlures grab your clear from prismatic its 12/lb instead of 30,
Thanks so much for sharing your experience and secrets. I’ve been looking for a new look for more jig heads.
My main focus is to be a good resource for other lure makers!! Glad you found something helpful and thanks for watching 🤙
Looks like the bank account is gonna take a hit...good video man. Thanks for sharing.
My bad lol. Glad you found it helpful tho and thanks for watching 🤙
Great Video very informative thanks for sharing it
Thank you and thanks for watching 🤙
Good stuff buddy! Thanks for sharing this! Keep up the good work!
Thanks David!! It’s a never ending hobby lol
Nice technique and I think you just saved me heaps of money. Can you provide the link for the Mica powder used to make all of your custom colors, the link at Amazon?
I’ll link a couple of the ones I’ve purchased but you can use any mica powder you want really! Thanks for watching!

Awesome video!!!
Thanks brochacho!! Good luck this weekend 🎣
What colors would make a disco red?
I havnt seen the color in person but I would guess a dark red. Maybe a ruby red mica base with some red and black flake
Love this video. I think my girlfriend, the creative one, enjoys them even more!
I noticed your swimbaits on your board were in clear clamshell packs. Do you make clamshells for your soft plastics? If so, PLEASE make a video how.
Thanks and keep em coming.
I actually have quite a few non bait makers that enjoy seeing the art/creative side of it. And no I don’t make my clamshells, I buy them from Temptation Tackle and really like them!!

Have you tried to do the cat eye powder in a powder paint
@@jessicapalmer1443 I have not. I’m not familiar with that powder but as long as it’s a mica based powder then I’m sure it would work
Great video!! Really! It’s very useful. May I know If I can obtain a similar result using white powder as base (instead of white)? Because in Europe it’s very difficult to find the clear powder. Thank you in advance
I’m sure you can use the white powder but the white will affect the color. The color after mixing won’t be true to the mica powder color. I really wish there was a better supplier for all of you European lure makers
@ just to be sure: is the clear powder transparent? Or is it a covering color? Is it possibile to find it on Amazon US? I think it’s the best solution for me to buy it
Yes it is just a clear base. It has no color to it by itself. You can find it on Amazon as well. I’ll leave a link for it below. Hope this helps

Fantastic content. Now I'm curious... To create a black speckled look, could you add a little black powder paint to a jar of clear? Or would you have to mix black powder paint with the base powder paint that you want to speckle?
You could do it either way. The only issue would be the actual particle size. The powder is very fine so the speckles would be very small which might take a little trial and error to find the right amount of powder to achieve the effect you’re looking for. Thanks for watching 🤙
Ok I acquired some Mica but how do you keep from seeing the actual jig behind the color?
@@brianlingis2392 are you saying that your color is transparent and you can see the lead ? If so then you just need to add more mica powder to the clear to thicken it up
@N2TW_customlures yes and ok will make adjustments Thank you very much!
@ no problem 🤙
Yep rabbit hole! Your advice was spot on ! Thanks I think lol. Hell I just did first blend at Arkansas Threadfin color damn near spot on. I'm so in trouble lol.
That’s awesome to hear lol!! Glad I could help… I think 😂
Where did you get the clear powder coat
I buy mine from Barlows. Both the 2oz and 1lb jars are linked in the video description
Hey, me again. am wanting to make vein (crinkle) color paint. How? I'd like to make both silver/black vein and purple/black vein. Is it just a matter of using clear paint and some sort or mix to get the vein to show up?
I’m not sure how the vein colors are made. I’ll do some digging and research and see if I can find anything but I don’t know how at the moment
@ Thanks. I saw some at the online store you told me about but at $50 US for shipping plus duty, I need to find another way to do this.
@ if I figure it out I’ll definitely make a video of it
I wish I couldn't relate to the rabbithole comment but alas....
Any idea where to find the clear powder in bulk?
Tricks: Mix strontium aluminate in lighter color mixes. Blue or green doped add a nice glow at deeper levels without distorting the color too much.
If you need more than the 1lb jars then I would probly look at automotive Powdercoat suppliers. I don’t think any lure making companies sell more than 1lb jars
I always wondered what made the glow lol. Thanks for watching 🤙
@N2TW_customlures There are various compounds that can produce glow (some are about half the price). I just like the strontium as it produces a very good glow for it's particle size. One short charge with green will last overnight without needing to recharge. $6-8/oz isn't awful since you don't really need much.
@ that’s pretty cool. I don’t know much about it
