I can see, Zerai keeping tabs on Yanki Creches. Then rescuing ones that are salvagable then taking them back to Limbo.
Thank you for talking about this now I have a whole campaign to write. This was some great inspiration and I'll probably have to come back to it and a couple other videos to get more info. I love the idea of limbo and I knew of limbo but really had no idea what it was because I've been making my own d&d setting and world with different gods and I've been trying to fill everything in as best as I can and so far I'm really happy with what I've made over the last 2 years but this will open up a whole new idea that I can play around with for a while.

This was a helpful video. I am working on a level 8 gith character. I hosted a game of Honey Heist and one of my players played a “pandalorian” who had a human baby. We later joked about it being a goblin, but then later I thought, Grogu had the force, it would make more sense for him to be a gith. Tomorrow I plan on surprising that player as Groda, the child raised by the Pandalorian named Pando. He was born a githyanki, raised by pandalorians, found and trained by githzerai as a psi warrior. Now he’s back as a pandalorian jedi in armor, AND he carries his “brother” Pando Jr.

I just made a Githzerai Druid of the Stars, kinda came together on a whim cause I didn't know much about the race. But listening to this is totally makes sense for one to be a Druid of the Stars. Thanks, this gives me a lot of ideas for a backstory and just personality traits for the character, really helps me flush her out.
I discovered your channel a little over a month ago and have now watched almost every class, race and monster episode. Brian, I love your energy and sense of humor so much, you're probably a treat to run games for. And Will, you and I are often on the same page about things, we have very similiar tastes and also the same name...WILL POWER!
I introduced a couple friends and we're considering a drinking game were you take a drink when Will says "indeed" and finish your drink when Demogorgon gets a shout out.

The UA class Mystic would be a good fit for the Githzerai. Uses Intelligence and a lot of the abilities seem to match up nicely with the Githzerai lore.

Back in the day, the martial marital counterpart to psion was psychic warrior who powers went off of Wisdom. There is also a psionic fist prestige class (psi-monk).

Great video!! I think it’s the.. Temporal strike ability that one of the Gith leaders get that let’s them knock the player character’s ass OUT INTO THE NEXT ROUND, IN THE FUTURE? Should have talked about that ability, haha!!

The Anarchs unique ability isn’t just (or even) their pure power and ability to absorb / redistribute psionic power, IIRC. It’s their ability to maintain such control unconsciously that’s the big deal.
Everyone else has to have people stay awake in rotas, etc in order to maintain their bubbles of stability in Limbo, while the Anarch can just go for a kip.
Not sure if Xanathar's was a thing back when this video was made and I'm too lazy to look it up but it clarifies that you do not need to worship a deity in order to be a cleric which makes clerics a VERY good choice for Githzerai. It can be the sheer dedication to their cause that funnels their power and grants them their spells.

Githzerai make great Knowledge Clerics. You can even reflavor the channel divinity as psionics.
