My Drenalin was a great bow, but it doesn't compare to these modern bows. Speed, quietness, ease of shooting, etc. all tilt heavily in favor of the more modern bows.
@@DaveGme Not saying they had to remove one. It's a Top Bows list not a top 5. If I had to choose one I'd say the Bear. Minus the riser level my two year old Martin Max 33 has all the same features, and then some.
A Martin? Lol! Get with the times bro nobody shoots Martin unless they bought it in the early 90s or are broke I’ve never even seen a Martin in real life I use the best bow shop in Michigan and if you said Martin you would get laughed right out the door! Treat yourself go get a bow tech or a Matthews
Just curious as to what makes these bows the "top bows of 2020? You should be doing a video of all bow manufacturers flagship bows, I'm sure I'm not the only person that wants to see them all. What about Darton or martin? "TOP NEW BOWS" As a consumer I go out and shoot all the bows and I determine what bow I feel "for me" is the "best or "top" bow. Really disappointed that "All" manufacturers aren't included in your reviews.
The "Top Bows" are basically the bows that created the most buzz during the ATA Show this year. This isn't really our personal opinion, it's basically what we observed during ATA.
I picked up the PSE NXT 31. I love this bow. Shooting this bow is "so" enjoyable. Draw weight feels 10#'s lighter than it is and this bow is super quiet with absolutely no hand shock.
Brad Moulton Is that true Sir? I ask because I’m seriously looking at purchasing the Bowtech BT Mag X at months end. I need the LONG DRAW. Have you got any suggestions for an alternative please? Thanks for your consideration Sir. 👍
I was looking to buy a VXR 31.5 this year but those Primes has me thinking different. Haven’t got to shoot one yet because I’m having trouble finding a dealer in Mississippi. But the reviews on them has me very interested
Personally, I like the tuning options that are being added on the bows. Makes it more convenient if you don't have a bow press to twist yokes or switch tophats.
I would also buy a used carbon bow on eBay to save a grand or so but I sure would like to have the warranty. Buy it used and you pay for anything that ever happens, major or minor and that sucks. All bows should have a transferable warranty, I mean damn your paying some serious coin for these bows and the companies should stand behind them.
If I wanted to pay $2000 for a bow only because it’s carbon. I’d save $400 and pay $1600 for a PSE Mach 1 considering it the ONLY true carbon riser on the market
Jimmy WALLHANGER yesssss😂😂😂 stop trying to make your ancient technology relevant just because you own an old king cobra and won’t fork over the cash for real flagship bows
"lack of advancements in bow technology mean that speed and performance really hasnt changed, and basically its just what feels better to you" is the non-bullshit translation of that opening monologue.
Watch out now! If you start talking bad about mathew's vxr, Boxing 101 will be in here swift to talk shit about you! I totally agree with you. Pretty much nothing new but they still charging that premium price tag.
@@ghost38901 Its not a smear job on the new bows, I think we just reached about the peak of modern bow technologies potential with the Halon series. Its just been real minimal preference changes since for a $1000+ price tag. I currently shoot a Vertix, and I don't see much this year that encourages me to buy another $1000 Matthews hat.
@@SellsZac You were putting it laymen's terms. There are so many people pushing and pushing these brand new bows like they are the greatest thing and a lot better then last years when it's just not the case. The VXR (or any new flagship model) isn't going to cause you to get that big buck you've been after.
I don't buy a new bow every year, about every 5 years, there is a pretty big difference from 5 years ago. All the flagship bows are pretty much the same price, except for the carbon Hoyts LoL
Im thinking of change my bow this year But all bow is good quality, so i cant choose the brand. I tend to accuracy and low vibration Can anyone recommended me a perfect bow in 2020?
I just tried the Evo NXT 31 at quints sporting goods in Mobile AL today. If you want sweet smooth draw, quiet, with no hand shock and an overall simple pleasure to shoot, this is your bow. Try it you won't be disappointed.
It's crazy how expensive these bows are. I don't know how some people buy new bows each year. I'm shooting a PSE Inertia XForce and haven't seen a need to spend a grand for a new bow. 348fps smokes some of these 1000 dollar bows. Wish they'd offer discounts for repeat owners or some sort of program for buy back to help us poor folks get new pro series bows.
@@jimmywallhanger8402 sell it back to the company for a discount on a new one. I've found it hard to sell bows online because they are so custom tailored.
Does Hoyt still make bows? Lol just messin’ with y’all. If it ain’t Mathews ...... it ain’t much. Lol there I go again. Lots of great bows out there. Shoot what feels good to you.
Horrible! Those bows are aesthetically ugly, they destroy all the symbolism and history of the archery. Thousands of years of hunting and wars with beautiful bows, long bows, recurves, etc., and we end up seeing those pieces of crap that look more like a robotic piece than an ancestral weapon. Those bows that make the archer's talent something minimal. They just need to prepare breakfast for you and they would be a complete artificiality.

Devin Rairigh me too
They copied their tech from Martin.

love my the VXR 28 bow. the switch weight technology is a gamechanger.
It's an awesome bow, I'm shooting 302 fps and my draw length is only 28 inches. The VXR is a badass.
Very easy watching and listening, makes me question myself on upgrading my Mathews Drenalin !!

Great recap of the bows!!! See you later today. Also, don't forget the wind sock for your mic for the rest of the ATA videos ;-)
