Follow the video for my 2018 GMC Serra , only challenge was removing the glue from the metal housing. As the video states, you will need patience , slow and steady is the name of this step. Take your time . Mine was a mess as the glass around the edges was really stuck on from the factory. I uses a mini Hot Air Gun by Seekone HG350, it really helped and yes it took more time to remove and clean the metal from than any other part of the process. plugged it back in and it words better than brand new as the screen does not have that glare finish. Good job Cuescreen, good product. Next test is longevity.
It has to be installed properly to function. Thats the only possibility. Its a simple circuit and there is nothing that can be wrong with it, but it is very very common for people to not install the ribbon cable properly.
I agree this is all Chevy vehicles that this happens to ours just started and I am going to show them the forums and all the evidence showing it's a problem especially since it's tied into the dash menu and effects it becoming a dangerous distraction

As advertised, your screen is working great in my 2016 Silverado. Thank you for the video and all your effort in providing a great product
Agreed, very helpful video. Thanks
That was easier than anticipated. Very clear instructions.
Thanks nice job
I don't see a part listed for a 2019 silverado ld. Just the hd. Can you point me in the right direction please.
Where can I get a rubber mat like the one on your bench top that you worked on.
Amazon
My monitor didn’t work for a long time, I bought a new one for $100 and installed everything correctly but it doesn’t work, what should I do?

@@CUESCREENS the thing is that i installed it correctly but it doesn't work
@@fadeevpavel4234 Its not installed correctly. Thats it. Go back through it again and plug the ribbon in all the way and evenly.
@@fadeevpavel4234 If its installed correctly, it will work. If its not working, its not installed correctly. Very simple design.
Replaced mine. Still doing the ghost touching… the screen is more responsive to touch now, but did not solve the issue on my 2015 sierra. 😢
I replaced mine and it still does the same thing Also, have you ever found a fix?
What brand screen did you use cuescreen or Amazon?
Are you sure this fits a 2019 chevy 2500 hd ltz?
Use the part finder at cuescreens.com/shop
Why isn’t this a recall?

Weak screen ANOTHER GM engineer idea=money grab on the consumer
Dump the weird creepy music in the background
Excellent instructional video Thank you
I Replaced the digitizer and it still does it
same. I can’t find anywhere that has a different solution.
@@jacobpotts3658they say if it doesn’t work go back and check that the ribbons are placed and locked correctly
It’s the module behind the glovebox that causes the issue
Fixed my 2016 Sierra Denali. However, 7mm bolt guy musta called in sick the day my truck was assembled.
