It's getting harder and harder to justify gamble ships as the game goes on. I'm hoping the Miracle worker D7 gets an account-wide option soon as it's getting to be an older ship and they're running out of viable promo ship candidates for the Mudd's store. I could spend last years event campaign reward on it, but It's not something a desperately need for a single character.
Thank you for the break down. I don't mind the look of the ship, though I also understand a lot of STO folks dislike for it. The Odyssey is a fitting line of ships for the Enterprise name, then to have it taken away so quickly by the Titan A (Connie III, whatever), I get it. The bigger issue game wise the the insane cost of these types of ships and how many supportive folks are left in game to buy it, feels like the company may be shooting themselves in the foot.
Gotta say, as someone who got it relatively recently. In my experience, it’s honestly one of my favorite ships in the game. Personally. I understand everyone has their preferences, but it’s surprisingly an excellent ship. Again, in my experience. I had been wanting it, but I was genuinely surprised at how much I’m actually enjoying using it.
Thx for the breakdown spencer, well thought out as allways, there is not much in there pve-vise, but console and trait have strong pvp applications in my thought, console would really boost tecnical overload from lukari rep weapons, trait would give beamoverload a big boost as well, i know a couple of pvpers who definitley will be in on the ship! I'm looking forward to your stream testing out advanced consoles, as console player your testing and breakdowns allways give me a nice headstart, propably will dustoff some of my elite tfo builds! According to Stats on the ship... (not that STO will arm it this way) it has 4 Phaser strips and 3 dual cannons in turret mounts. 1 fore and 1 aft torpedo launcher.The cannons are on the front of the ship in the saucer section on the upper surface.

Yer I can see that they needed to take inspiration in various ways from what we saw on screen, but that doesn't mean it has to be underpowered / not competitive as a result given it's promo / price. No reason for not going 5/3 with MW (energy based damage), having the secondary seat Command (there was alot of only torp's firing from the Titan, with no beams in the show), having more universal seating, different ship mastery package, better hull mod, having a stronger star ship trait for buffing beam / FAW damage (actually in the meta lockbox trait mix - UD, Ruin, Terran GB) etc. Very little if not no limitation to the performance potential due to how the ship appeared on screen in Picard S3 (it was not an Oberth type performance). You can build for theme & performance with no problems at all, just choose not to for some unknown reason. I don't get R&D ships outside the event campaign (I got Disco D7 from last years), but even if I did, I wasn't big on the looks whilst watching the show & the whole Ent-G thing was just not the right move imo; and the ship setup is just bad for it's positioning in a promo box. it'll be a capable ship, just like the other ships. I dont think i'd go for this right now as i already have a faw boat. the trait looks like a decent "filler trait" when nothing better is accessible.
I appreciate the review. I'd been considering getting the ship (via Exchange/EC), but it's just too big of a purchase for such a middlin' ship. Maybe down the line if they ever do a series that focuses around the Ent-G (w/Capt Seven, Crusher, etc.), I'll likely get this then, just to have a Captain/Crew of my own flying in the next Enterprise (I have all the others). And who knows, maybe by then they'll make a Legendary version that might have better stats, some added Space Barbie, and be in a C-Store pack... I'm sure it'll be in some bloated, overpriced bundle, but at least it'll be an account unlock, and maybe they'll have another go at some better stats.
The World Razer will be added to the infinity ship box eventually. If you're wanting one sooner, might be worth looking at selling your promo ship box, and just using ec to get the Razer

Odd that the beams have [proc] taking up a mod. While it makes some sense that wider arc weapons get a mod taken up, but this is the reverse, it has a narrower arc.
So this ship just hurts the drop rate for getting better ships from the packs? Not a hard decision to go for one of bundles than trying to get this ship; thanks for calling this out. Another great summary.
Tough for me to decide whether to buy off exchange or gamble with lockboxes. Or skip. I get my EC from selling keys, so 1.5B EC is essentially $150 real money’s worth of keys. Or, spend a little more, and in addition to the drop, obtain all the other things I find useful: R&D packs with technology and research boosters, bridge officer skills, space/ground traits, etc. I play on PS, so, oftentimes the exchange won’t have what trait/skill etc. I’m looking for. And right now, I’m starting to run low on those valuable items So maybe just this ONE time, I open 250-350 (or a little more) lockboxes. Or, wait for a possible legendary on c-store much later. Because I already have a legendary MW sovereign with FAW setup (from 10th anniv bundle) and LOVE it. Which Spencer says is very similar to this new ship. Or completely skip, because this ship seems very underwhelming and disappointing, I agree. Perhaps my real questions I need to figure out on my own are: (1) do I really want this ship NOW, given I’m already happy with a legendary Sovereign, and (2) how to find an efficient way to farm EC instead of getting EC from buying and selling keys, and (3) what’s the likelihood they release a legendary c-store version later. (It’s hard to notice one’s RUclips is super long, when writing it on an iPad, lol. Sorry!)
Spencer, Question: I'm sitting on a promo pack right now. I have most of the promo ships (including the MW disco connie and MW D7) The only promo ships i dont have are the janeway, the sagan, and now the Titan. I don't really have any motivation to get the janeway. So im wondering which is better? The Titan or the Sagan?
The Janeway is a skip imo. The Terran Trailblazer in the C-Store is basically a copy of it. Between the Sagan and Titan, it depends on what you want. The Sagan will be a better Torp or Tank platform. The Titan will have a better capability for boosting your beams up, especially with these new Advanced eng consoles. Titan can run up to 7 of those, while the Sagan would be able to do just 5.
The Connie flight deck carrier is one of my favourite ships in the game. It’s loads better than this and it’s actually a Pike Era ship (I tend to roleplay mine as the Peregrine that was found crash landed and infested with Gorn babies.
So i pulled a promo box and I was tempted to get this, but this post has made me think twice. Question is, if not this, what's the best pick from that pack? (I was tempted by the donny but i intend to buy a 10th anni pack so i'll get the similar one in there) i'll not i generally only play beam overload builds. Oh and I hate the look of the D7 otherwise i'd have got that :) any other good ones in there?
If you're wanting to run a 4/4 beam array setup, this is fine. The beams from it will boost that playstyle. Federation wise, the Inquiry is quite powerful. Vaadwaur Juggernaut is the top energy weapon platform, but it's a bit of a brick to fly and visually not for everyone. Inquiry is just behind it performance wise.

i always said they need defensive ship trait slots, currently too many ships compete for dps on the 6 trait slots, if they had additional 6 slots but for defensive traits only they could design ships and traits for that too and sell new ships without too much power creep.
The battle cloak is the only advantage this ship has and let's face it half the time that thing doesn't work because NPC interaction pulls you out of cloak as it has done for 13 years and is something they can't or won't fix. It therefore comes down to a simple choice, do you want the look of the Titan or not? If you think it looks great and don't care that it will never be meta then maybe you'd be happy with it, for everyone else who doesn't really care for it's looks or hero status (and personally I think it's a bit ugly) then it's a very easy pass. The Lexington as you said makes way more sense and is a helluva lot cheaper as well as being able to utilise the beautiful new Odyssey skin. For me this event will be a way to gain more EC selling promo packs and that's it, I will not be getting it and I will not be advising our members to get it either. When the game was new and it was only KDF & Fed, as well as Cloaks solely the domain of KDF, when we complained about game dialogue breaking cloaks as we played our Klingon ships, the issue was ignored by Cryptic. It's a KDF issue. Now that Cloaks are far more prevalent, even for Fed side, they still can't fix the damn things. Just like how we complained on KDF that the Frigates like the Fer'Jai and Qaw'Dun BOPs work poorly because of bad weapons time on target (narrow firing arc weapons), it was again ignored by Cryptic. It's a KDF issue. So when Cryptic added the Jupiter years later and the Callisto Frigates with the same focus of narrow arc weapons as the problematic KDF Frigates, I wasn't surprised to see Feds complain. It was nothing new. Cryptic sat on their asses too long and ignored the issue and were blindsided by it when they tried to give the same toys to the Feds. The funny part was watching Cryptic actually try to fix the Callistos and repeatedly fail at it. It's funny also because Cryptic only TRIED to work on it when Feds were complaining, yet ignored it when KDF brought it up when the game was new. It was even more funny watching Cryptic finally give up on making frigates with narrow weapon arc focus work. They started to make them with wide arc weapons like Beam Arrays. The T6 Vo'Quv had Birds of Prey frigates, but they were equipped with Beam Arrays, not DHCs anymore. Because Cryptic doesn't know how to make it work right with narrow arc focused frigates.

It's an easy pass for me. While I often play STO for the role-play and immersiveness, and go out of my way to get specific ships and do themed-build, I still care for the DPS.
This was always tricky to me. If the lockbox/R&D ship is too strong, then it becomes pay to win (STO isn't pay to win with the exception of the DPS community and PvP). If it's too weak then the ship isn't worth it. How exactly do you balance that out without being one or the other?
You sell it as a balanced C-Store Ship. But Cryptic doesn't like C-Store Ships anymore and is focusing more on Gamble Ships or ridiculously priced Bundles.
I see what you mean with how Hero ships have lower stats value and other ships have higher stats, . As they know how to sell ships to us which is a real shame as the Hero ships should have the best stats (Especially for the money you have to pay for them!!😮) Inquiry (Lock Box Hero Ship) can only get Surgical Strikes 1 which does great damage, . However the Hydra (a $30 C-Store Ship) has Surgical Strikes 3 which has the highest Damage I have ever reached with a ship to date and amazing turn rate on top of it! , super quick ship! I am glad you help us compare ships especially at the $200 plus price point same as we would buying a product online or in store. Of course we want to look at reviews to see what value for our purchase we are receiving making the purchase comparing to what else is available on the market. If you have deep pockets or not, (Unless you can throw that kind of money at it, not blink, and not even notice it was used in the first place) this is still an extremely expensive digital content purchase (for 1 ship on 1 player!) and especially with No return policy. Spencer you are a Required Strategy Guide for this game !
Just an idea for the console alone (ship trait actually seems underwhelming to me, not a fan of phasers or fed ships in general). - Bio-Electrical Wave Capacitor uni-console - Painful Memories/Weaponized Emitters ship traits - 7 advanced engi consoles (dealer's choice) with EPG mods - Any ship with CDR Engineer or Universal and two Acetone Beams Only concept I can run with the console.
I understand they had to nerf it but for what we saw in the show, the Connie III should be a Fire at Will Monster and should also be capable of resisting and even breaking holds and tractor beams on herself and friendly ships, it's cloacking device should also have been made useful against the borg, with it's attacks dealing more damage in the first attack after deactivating the cloak that the players should have been able to activate at will and use it in combat, after a short cooldown, of course. It's thrust vectors and those Six Massive impulse Engines should also have been a factor as the Connie III should have been made the second fastest and the more maneuverable ship in the game and that should also have been a factor in her playstyle. Finally it's tractor beam should have also been considered as a weapon, much like the grappling hook should have been for the NX-01 Enterprise She is a Explorer Cruise, hence a Light Cruiser, so, she should have the playstyle of one!! Her Speed should be second only to the Prometheus (the fastest Federation Ship), her maneuverability should be on par with the Equinox Class, her firepower should be on par with the Ambassador Class and her endurance should be on par with the Cardassian Galor Class... This to have a Picard 3rd season accurate Connie III
The clicky from that console would only be useful if using the non barionic asteroid thing from the rep traits and perhaps clean getaway as one of the pilot skills. Really just a gimmick, but could be fun. Not worth freakin' 300 bucks, though.
I despise gamble ships. Put it for a fair price in the c-store. The legendary packs were a ridiculous amount of money, but as much as I hated the price tag, at least you knew what it cost and would get it for sure.

I'll get this ship if I can do it without spending money. That's my FTP mantra. 🙂 I can see them adding this ship to a legendary bundle in the future, so you can wait for that to happen.
I would think that the the ship would've had more sci console slots honestly. The narrow arc beam arrays, console, and trait is much more appealing than the ship itself. But I didn't actually like her anyway so...this is fine. I think the new crafted consoles are going to be the difference maker.
I liked the Titan-A in the TV series but I would never buy it in game especially since I mostly play KDF. All of those promo ships are way too expensive. Most C-store ships are way better.
I am very disappointed by that ship. When I saw the ship in Picard, I was so hoping for a good FAW Trait as the current ones are just Terrible but nope.
Hey there is still hope. A remake of the Enterprise D, could happen. The show did show an impressive FAW scene so its possible we can get a FAW trait from that.
I honestly thought it would be more science focused. Instead it’s a MEHrical Worker? It’s okay-ish to look at but that’s all. Also if they are forced to limit what the ship can do because of what it was like in the show, then the Wraith will have to be god tier because of this. I’m going to wait for the 2024 event to get this.

SAB right again. Looks good and stats are not worth the price. It will sell a lot but only for Space Barbie effect. If were going to copy and paste stats should have just put the stats of the Discovery Connie on it and given it 2 bays of shuttles and made the shuttles like was in the show. I'd pay for that, but this I'm not paying for and wouldn't even drop a coupon on this.
I was interested in it till they stated that the "tanking phasers" were exclusive & limited to 2 for the ship. I don't think it's mod warranted the limited use of only 2. Otherwise the livestream was very informative & entertaining.
I’m really upset that they keep following this formula of putting the ships from the new shows that everyone loves immediately into gamble boxes. And add on to that the subpar quality of these ships. Visually? They look fantastic, some of the best looking ships in the game. Mechanically, however, they fumble it so hard. I promise they would sell more of this ship if they actually put some thought into making it good. And they’d sell even more ships if they put it in the c-store.
I don't disagree, as a gamer, but as a business, and the model they follow, this is (presumably) a finely tuned strategy to ensure high profits, but to also make sure this isn't the be-all and end-all of ships and makes it easy for Cryptic to create a far more attractive ship that doesn't have the free marketing of a ship everyone's familiar with. You're upset with the wrong people in this regard. Developers do what they do, get away with what they get away with, and continue their business-practices because players encourage them by continuing to make what is horrendous to the rest of us actually viable. You ought to address every gamer you see flying around in this for continuing to ensure ships are released this way and in this state! I think all ships are rip-off and demonstrate what the developer thinks of gamers, but for as long as gamers continue to encourage this I guess they get what they deserve.
this is how the company makes money, they don't create and charge for new content like other mmo so complaining about this is just silly imo... i don't disagree with you per say but it's a 10 yr old game that is on life support and unless you can explain a method that would generate the company MORE profit they aren't going to change anything. Besides, reading complaints about the gamble boxes for the last 8 years is getting super tiring. Now if you were to complain about the Mudd's Scam Store then that is still fairly new and i am more sympathetic towards that complaint :P

the ship looks incredible in game but there are just so many better legendary and promo ships and even as you pointed out c-store ships that I think are better. Unfortunately people will buy it and that's their problem. Our problem is that the overall cost of playing this game is going up while the player base that puts money into the game seems to be going down .
As you said Spencer, other than the skin and the little extras included, it's pretty much the same to already available (and cheaper account wide) ships. Not worth the cost in resources or money for me, either. Easy pass indeed.
I really don't care what they think they had to be limited with because of on screen presence. that's just utter crap for a ship. and its a ship that quiet honestly should not even be released. Why would anyone want this ship over the Excelsior? Don't be stupid all, don't buy it, let this one rot and send Cryptic a strong message. I can't hold my excitement, not. 😑 The Titan should have been a Lunar Class in the First place so sad, but hey that's Nu-Trek for us, messing up Star Trek one Episode at a time.
They don't have the luxury of being flexible. Yeah. I call bullshit on that one. They know you're going to want this ship so they don't have to give it a great build is more like it.
I haven't spent any of my money since mid 2019, so ALL of the ships since then have been an easy pass for me. For them to get me to spend real $$, they would have to guarantee a one shot 'nukes' all enemy NPS. I know that will NEVER happen, so it will continue being an easy pass, just waiting for my stipend to build up, and/or maybe open last years, yearlong event box.
I still think naming it Enterprise was a mistake. That name should have gone on to the next, better, ship beyond the Odyssey. Yes. You're exactly right. I miss the old STO wiki that you could sort the list of playable starships by a category, like having 2 hangar bays for example.

For cruiser pew pew I'll stick to the fleet Gagarin T6x for the MW love. Haven't cared for the 4/4 weapon layout for some time.

The Titan will have a better capability for boosting your beams up, especially with these new Advanced eng consoles. Titan can run up to 7 of those, while the Sagan would be able to do just 5.

The Connie flight deck carrier is one of my favourite ships in the game. It’s loads better than this and it’s actually a Pike Era ship (I tend to roleplay mine as the Peregrine that was found crash landed and infested with Gorn babies.
So i pulled a promo box and I was tempted to get this, but this post has made me think twice. Question is, if not this, what's the best pick from that pack? (I was tempted by the donny but i intend to buy a 10th anni pack so i'll get the similar one in there) i'll not i generally only play beam overload builds. Oh and I hate the look of the D7 otherwise i'd have got that :) any other good ones in there?
If you're wanting to run a 4/4 beam array setup, this is fine. The beams from it will boost that playstyle.
Federation wise, the Inquiry is quite powerful.
Vaadwaur Juggernaut is the top energy weapon platform, but it's a bit of a brick to fly and visually not for everyone. Inquiry is just behind it performance wise.

i always said they need defensive ship trait slots, currently too many ships compete for dps on the 6 trait slots, if they had additional 6 slots but for defensive traits only they could design ships and traits for that too and sell new ships without too much power creep.

The battle cloak is the only advantage this ship has and let's face it half the time that thing doesn't work because NPC interaction pulls you out of cloak as it has done for 13 years and is something they can't or won't fix. It therefore comes down to a simple choice, do you want the look of the Titan or not? If you think it looks great and don't care that it will never be meta then maybe you'd be happy with it, for everyone else who doesn't really care for it's looks or hero status (and personally I think it's a bit ugly) then it's a very easy pass. The Lexington as you said makes way more sense and is a helluva lot cheaper as well as being able to utilise the beautiful new Odyssey skin. For me this event will be a way to gain more EC selling promo packs and that's it, I will not be getting it and I will not be advising our members to get it either. When the game was new and it was only KDF & Fed, as well as Cloaks solely the domain of KDF, when we complained about game dialogue breaking cloaks as we played our Klingon ships, the issue was ignored by Cryptic.
It's a KDF issue.
Now that Cloaks are far more prevalent, even for Fed side, they still can't fix the damn things. Just like how we complained on KDF that the Frigates like the Fer'Jai and Qaw'Dun BOPs work poorly because of bad weapons time on target (narrow firing arc weapons), it was again ignored by Cryptic.
It's a KDF issue.
So when Cryptic added the Jupiter years later and the Callisto Frigates with the same focus of narrow arc weapons as the problematic KDF Frigates, I wasn't surprised to see Feds complain. It was nothing new. Cryptic sat on their asses too long and ignored the issue and were blindsided by it when they tried to give the same toys to the Feds.
The funny part was watching Cryptic actually try to fix the Callistos and repeatedly fail at it. It's funny also because Cryptic only TRIED to work on it when Feds were complaining, yet ignored it when KDF brought it up when the game was new.
It was even more funny watching Cryptic finally give up on making frigates with narrow weapon arc focus work. They started to make them with wide arc weapons like Beam Arrays. The T6 Vo'Quv had Birds of Prey frigates, but they were equipped with Beam Arrays, not DHCs anymore. Because Cryptic doesn't know how to make it work right with narrow arc focused frigates.

Just another name to make it harder to sort through the T6 box list basically, thats all it ends up being.
It's an easy pass for me. While I often play STO for the role-play and immersiveness, and go out of my way to get specific ships and do themed-build, I still care for the DPS.
This was always tricky to me. If the lockbox/R&D ship is too strong, then it becomes pay to win (STO isn't pay to win with the exception of the DPS community and PvP). If it's too weak then the ship isn't worth it. How exactly do you balance that out without being one or the other?
You sell it as a balanced C-Store Ship. But Cryptic doesn't like C-Store Ships anymore and is focusing more on Gamble Ships or ridiculously priced Bundles.
I see what you mean with how Hero ships have lower stats value and other ships have higher stats, . As they know how to sell ships to us which is a real shame as the Hero ships should have the best stats (Especially for the money you have to pay for them!!😮)
Inquiry (Lock Box Hero Ship) can only get Surgical Strikes 1 which does great damage, .
However the Hydra (a $30 C-Store Ship) has Surgical Strikes 3 which has the highest Damage I have ever reached with a ship to date and amazing turn rate on top of it! , super quick ship!
I am glad you help us compare ships especially at the $200 plus price point same as we would buying a product online or in store.
Of course we want to look at reviews to see what value for our purchase we are receiving making the purchase comparing to what else is available on the market.
If you have deep pockets or not, (Unless you can throw that kind of money at it, not blink, and not even notice it was used in the first place) this is still an extremely expensive digital content purchase (for 1 ship on 1 player!) and especially with No return policy.

The real question is will I spend $200+ to get a BONUS electrical damage console for the jellyfish ship...
I understand they had to nerf it but for what we saw in the show, the Connie III should be a Fire at Will Monster and should also be capable of resisting and even breaking holds and tractor beams on herself and friendly ships, it's cloacking device should also have been made useful against the borg, with it's attacks dealing more damage in the first attack after deactivating the cloak that the players should have been able to activate at will and use it in combat, after a short cooldown, of course.
It's thrust vectors and those Six Massive impulse Engines should also have been a factor as the Connie III should have been made the second fastest and the more maneuverable ship in the game and that should also have been a factor in her playstyle.
Finally it's tractor beam should have also been considered as a weapon, much like the grappling hook should have been for the NX-01 Enterprise
She is a Explorer Cruise, hence a Light Cruiser, so, she should have the playstyle of one!!
Her Speed should be second only to the Prometheus (the fastest Federation Ship), her maneuverability should be on par with the Equinox Class, her firepower should be on par with the Ambassador Class and her endurance should be on par with the Cardassian Galor Class... This to have a Picard 3rd season accurate Connie III
The clicky from that console would only be useful if using the non barionic asteroid thing from the rep traits and perhaps clean getaway as one of the pilot skills. Really just a gimmick, but could be fun. Not worth freakin' 300 bucks, though.

I despise gamble ships. Put it for a fair price in the c-store. The legendary packs were a ridiculous amount of money, but as much as I hated the price tag, at least you knew what it cost and would get it for sure.

I would think that the the ship would've had more sci console slots honestly. The narrow arc beam arrays, console, and trait is much more appealing than the ship itself. But I didn't actually like her anyway so...this is fine. I think the new crafted consoles are going to be the difference maker.

I liked the Titan-A in the TV series but I would never buy it in game especially since I mostly play KDF. All of those promo ships are way too expensive. Most C-store ships are way better.
The "hero ships have to suck" thing is getting pretty old. Bleh. Suck is kind of a harsh word I suppose, but it's definitely underwhelming.

Hey there is still hope. A remake of the Enterprise D, could happen. The show did show an impressive FAW scene so its possible we can get a FAW trait from that.

Also if they are forced to limit what the ship can do because of what it was like in the show, then the Wraith will have to be god tier because of this.

SAB right again. Looks good and stats are not worth the price. It will sell a lot but only for Space Barbie effect. If were going to copy and paste stats should have just put the stats of the Discovery Connie on it and given it 2 bays of shuttles and made the shuttles like was in the show. I'd pay for that, but this I'm not paying for and wouldn't even drop a coupon on this.

I’m really upset that they keep following this formula of putting the ships from the new shows that everyone loves immediately into gamble boxes. And add on to that the subpar quality of these ships. Visually? They look fantastic, some of the best looking ships in the game. Mechanically, however, they fumble it so hard. I promise they would sell more of this ship if they actually put some thought into making it good. And they’d sell even more ships if they put it in the c-store.
I don't disagree, as a gamer, but as a business, and the model they follow, this is (presumably) a finely tuned strategy to ensure high profits, but to also make sure this isn't the be-all and end-all of ships and makes it easy for Cryptic to create a far more attractive ship that doesn't have the free marketing of a ship everyone's familiar with. You're upset with the wrong people in this regard. Developers do what they do, get away with what they get away with, and continue their business-practices because players encourage them by continuing to make what is horrendous to the rest of us actually viable. You ought to address every gamer you see flying around in this for continuing to ensure ships are released this way and in this state! I think all ships are rip-off and demonstrate what the developer thinks of gamers, but for as long as gamers continue to encourage this I guess they get what they deserve.
this is how the company makes money, they don't create and charge for new content like other mmo so complaining about this is just silly imo... i don't disagree with you per say but it's a 10 yr old game that is on life support and unless you can explain a method that would generate the company MORE profit they aren't going to change anything. Besides, reading complaints about the gamble boxes for the last 8 years is getting super tiring. Now if you were to complain about the Mudd's Scam Store then that is still fairly new and i am more sympathetic towards that complaint :P

the ship looks incredible in game but there are just so many better legendary and promo ships and even as you pointed out c-store ships that I think are better. Unfortunately people will buy it and that's their problem. Our problem is that the overall cost of playing this game is going up while the player base that puts money into the game seems to be going down .
all these prove is that nobody should ever buy a promo ship if they're looking for performance.

I really don't care what they think they had to be limited with because of on screen presence. that's just utter crap for a ship. and its a ship that quiet honestly should not even be released. Why would anyone want this ship over the Excelsior? Don't be stupid all, don't buy it, let this one rot and send Cryptic a strong message. They don't have the luxury of being flexible. Yeah. I call bullshit on that one. They know you're going to want this ship so they don't have to give it a great build is more like it.
I haven't spent any of my money since mid 2019, so ALL of the ships since then have been an easy pass for me. For them to get me to spend real $$, they would have to guarantee a one shot 'nukes' all enemy NPS. I know that will NEVER happen, so it will continue being an easy pass, just waiting for my stipend to build up, and/or maybe open last years, yearlong event box.
