Thank you for this video - Can I give a tip to other beginners like me?... When I say beginner, I'm talking just a few weeks, since I ever even held a violin and a bow, so this (The Gael) is literally my first tune after doing finger exercises from some other videos to make sense of what the strings do, and get some coordination going. So I've been trying to just get the first bar of this tune for the last few days now, watching and watching the first 10 seconds of this video... then I finally cracked it, literally 30 mins ago by going to the settings and slowing down the video to 0.5 speed. I managed to play along for about 20 seconds now, so the first few bars, and completely astonished myself after 'almost' giving up this evening. Just needed to share this, as for the first time, I've got a 'tune' coming out of my violin rather than a dying cat clawing across a chalkboard - So thank you for this video - I'll be playing it through many more times, now I know I can do it!! Thank you, and have of course subscribed!! You can subscribe back if you like motorbikes, haha!!
