@Lazar MMA best max set ive done was 20 in the usmc back in 2015. I havent done a max set in a long time but im guessing about 14. last week i did 3 sets of 10 in my regular workout no problem.
I had time as a corpsman, lol. That's because I was on a MEU amd unless we were doing a mission off ship, we were just sitting there doing nothing literally.

Yeah but your heart rate/blood pressure probably still goes up too high while you’re doing them which isn’t good
