This only really applies to the first three titans imo, maybe also the false dragon duo but Dondozo is so useful in both competitive singles and vgc doubles that it won’t be forgotten anytime soon
you should’ve done crustle for gen 5 because you already get blocked by them at one point so why not make it a giant crustle that u have to defeat to get to the next area
There’s a lot of good options for it! That makes sense, which is why I almost did Snorlax for Gen 1 also, but ultimately decided I wanted the pure rock gigalith. Plus the bug type overlap with Durant wasn’t ideal
I think instead of Tauros and Kangaskhan as the normal titans, you should've done Scyther and Pinsir, since they are version exclusives in Red and Blue. Red gets Titan Scyther, Blue gets Titan Pinsir.
@@domidoodleYT while fair, most Kanto games cut off the rest of the dex, so Scyther could join Pinsir while Tauros got promoted to full time Titan (I say this because Giovanni kinda rocks out with Kangaskhan as his ace for a lot of the earlier battles, so it's already featured prominently like Golisopod was to Guzma.)
It really is a shame that the Titans "shrink" to regular size when they're defeated. I mean I'm certainly not the only one who would have loved to rampage through the Game with a rock-Ebirah (a Kaiju from Godzilla) aka. Klawf and a not just Great- but Titan Tusk. Tho I have to admit that the battle Camera would be a Nightmare.
People hate Lickilicky because they think Lickilicky is stupid, ugly and gross. Fortunaly, i don't hate Lickilicky, there's a lot of pokémon that they look worse than Lickilicky.
The only one imma change is gen 7. I know bugs taken by Guzma, so why not have him trick you into facing a titan Golisopod? Maybe its actually his own, and its after the final battle with him
the story for Porygon Z could be that it escaped cyber space and is reaking havoc on the electricity in Sunnyshore City, keeping you from battling Volkner. Could even be what gets Volkner out of his funk so that he'll battle you
Really cool ideas. I once did a video about "Kanto 1896" where we had "Ronin" Pokémon 100 years prior RGB. The Pokémon in question where actually "Johto species" like Scizor and Kingdra, all of them Shiny as well :V
Another thing from Paldea I'm curious about is what would the Mightiest Mark raid boss equivalents in the other regions (and if the returning mons that hold the title would make sense to hold the title in their native region)
I think that for Johto the Fire and Water titans should have been version exclusive for gold and silver being houndoom at the tower that ho oh is at and qwillfish at the whirl islands and make the ampharos at the light house a titan
Ooh good catch, yes that’s absolutely what it should be. I’m embarrassed to say that B2W2 are the only pokemon games I haven’t played, so I didn’t know it was a post game area 😳
I would’ve used Beartic for B2/W2. Although it’s an evolved Pokémon, Cryogonal shows up too much in Team Plasma fights to be considered special enough imo
I get the pick of durant for the steel titan of black and white, but wouldn't klingklang be a slightly better candidate for it instead of durant in both sets of games? I'd say it would be the fourth titan guarding the exit of chargestone cave, acting as a bit of a level check for a team.
Well Durant wouldn’t be the main titan in the sequels, Heatmor would, with Durant as a secondary battle like tatsugiri and dondozo. I do think that your idea is good though
Normal titan for kanto should have been snorlax because it is already a mini boss in game and I just feel like it makes more sense idk... and johto rock should have been sudowoodo for the same reason...
Just to let you know, four out the seven Titans are dual type. Iron Treads, Great Tusk, Tatsugiri, and Bombirdier are dual type while Dondozo, Klawf, and Orthworm are single type. So the majority are not single type.
Yeah i need to be the killjoy here but alola already have titan Pokémon they are the toten Pokémon you don’t get it i explain in the original language (japanese) this groups of Pokémon are dominant/leader Pokémon
Nah i get it but I didn’t want to cut out Alola just for that reason, practically, yes they’re too similar to have in a real game but for the video it was just for fun
I think the titans mostly consist of pokemon that Nintendo thought would be forgotten, like orthworm, bombirdir and klawf
This could be true
*iron treads*
*dondozo*
Donbozo and Tatsugiri
This is a good thing tho imo
This only really applies to the first three titans imo, maybe also the false dragon duo but Dondozo is so useful in both competitive singles and vgc doubles that it won’t be forgotten anytime soon
I think it would be awesome if an Ultra Beast were an Alolan titan Pokémon, the same way we have a Paradox Pokémon in Paldea
Ooh yeah that would be sweet
Guzzlord would fit or maybe even buzzswhole
Could be like buzzwole or pheramosa as their counterparts
@@aroramccracken2429 Duuuuude that would’ve been perfect I was even thinking about that as a possibility

True that could’ve worked, only reason I didn’t is because scyther got an evo

Yeah that would’ve been super cool! Especially since they already allowed that to happen with Totem Pokemon in Alola
Why do people bash lickylicky so much HES SO CUTE
100% agree
The only Le Chonk I care about.
People hate Lickilicky because they think Lickilicky is stupid, ugly and gross.

Agree, the homie has his uses. Could there be a better design? Ye, but you can say that for LOTS. he’s still a solid enough mon as is
Funny lizard boy
Technically murkrow and the houndoom line are native to Kanto. Although introduced in gen 2, they can't be caught until you get to kanto
True, I guess I was thinking original 151
This is a very interesting idea that I don’t think I’ve seen
Thank you! :)
Who remembers totem pokemon from the Alola region?
Those seemed like titan pokemon to me, or something very close because of their size.
They’re definitely super similar
This was really good! I'm kind of jealous I didn't think of it on my own. Would you mind if I covered this at some point too?
Yooo of course you can!! I like JUST finished watching your video you released today, I’m a huge fan of yours :)
The only one imma change is gen 7. I know bugs taken by Guzma, so why not have him trick you into facing a titan Golisopod? Maybe its actually his own, and its after the final battle with him
I wouldn’t mind that, Alola bug types gave me a hard time because none of them really worked so I’d be down for this idea
I Have A Question, Why Did You Use Riombee And Aquanid? (Sorry If I Got The Names Wrong) Aren’t Both Of Them Totem Pokemon?
@@nuttinmdjp pretty sure Araquanid and Ribombee are totem pokemon in the ultra games
Hence why he changed both of them to Vikavolt in the ultra games
the story for Porygon Z could be that it escaped cyber space and is reaking havoc on the electricity in Sunnyshore City, keeping you from battling Volkner. Could even be what gets Volkner out of his funk so that he'll battle you

Fun experiment, funny to see how few perfect fits there are. Tbh my main selection would be single-stage pokemon that would otherwise get left behind.

It would be kinda cool if you fought all of the Sinnoh titans in a double battle alongside the stat trainers, like you do with Arven.
I had that idea originally but since Buck is post game only I didn’t go with it

i think a fun little story beat for the kanto normal titan would be that you had to beat it to save the surf guy
Oh yeah I love that!
I think that for Johto the Fire and Water titans should have been version exclusive for gold and silver being houndoom at the tower that ho oh is at and qwillfish at the whirl islands and make the ampharos at the light house a titan
I actually did think about Ampharos as a titan in the lighthouse that’s awesome you thought of that too!
Araqinid is a totem Pokémon
In USUM, which is why Vikavolt is the Titan for those games :)
Pinwheel Forest is a post-game location in B2W2, could put Whimsicott in Lostlorn Forest instead?
Ooh good catch, yes that’s absolutely what it should be. I’m embarrassed to say that B2W2 are the only pokemon games I haven’t played, so I didn’t know it was a post game area 😳

Dynamaxed Titans would be even bigger
I would’ve used Beartic for B2/W2. Although it’s an evolved Pokémon, Cryogonal shows up too much in Team Plasma fights to be considered special enough imo
Ahh fair, didn’t think of that
Basically the same as Totem and Noble Pokémon.
Pretty much yeah
Whimsicott is gonna be the easiest and hardest Titan in Unova, that is a huge upgrade (if I remember correctly)

That was my first thought before I thought to be more strict about single stages Pokémon, and snorlax isn’t anymore
Very impressive
the only one that I think would fit more is the dragonite of the anime, which is a titan

I was wondering what if Orre had Titan Pokémon

I thought about it but wanted to be strict on single stage if possible, and it has Munchlax now so I didn’t. But yes it would be a great titan
