Totally with you. I can’t get into all the crazy finishes. I like it to look like the car on the track. I don’t, and never plan to own any of those other unrealistic finishes. Certainly not paying extra for it.
@LopakaRC I've felt the same way though I did get a color chrome of Deegans red f150. Made it more of a maroon color that looks exactly the same as the ruby metallic red paint on my F150 so I couldn't resist. Typically stick to raced win versions too of drivers I like just so I don't go broke. Finally had a motivator to buy a harrison burton car with his recent win lol, aside from his woods brothers owners, father, and his own, signed car I picked up a while back.
@@nascarfanFlatTire it is a VERY nice piece. I like it alot. Even though it isn't photo-accurate to the real car because of the paint sparkles, it looks GREAT. I'd say it's worth it
Id love to buy them before you give them to Plan B sales to jack up....didnt they DNP all special finishes anyways...you guys love to tease us with all your DNPs...sucks being a Xfinity Series fan...you end up making maybe 1/8th of all the cars you guys offer..thanks for that.
Why do the cars Lionel makes feel cheap like toys not collectibles when you take them off the base? If you guys think I'm full of it, take an action 2006 and hold it in your hand then hold the Lionel one. You will tell the difference right away.
Cut the crap Sparky. Lionel are turning out wildly inaccurate pieces of junk. Tried to get a standard finish of Jimmie Johnson's Homestead winner and all we are offered is the goofy confetti-covered cars. And that one doesn't even have the accurate paint scheme or body graphics on the front fenders below the A window pillar. And all the Jeff Gordon historic winner cars from the '90s have some wild inaccuracies - wrong type of non-metallic blue paint and no Coca Cola decals on the Darlington winner. Enough with the phoney Beatlemania. Just make accurate cars.
Why did you guys lower your quality so much after 2017? I would still collect if you wouldn't have taken it away. But id something is elite it should have everything from the race car as on the track. Each year after 2007 you slowly took more and more away. I collected them just to put up and look at. Not for value or resell. To be one of these eBay resellers is not a good business to be in. They just get cars and try to jack the price up more then they're worth. They end up having to drop there prices because people with sense are just not gonna pay that much.
It looks really good.
To this day, i heard they all look really good.
"it looks really good" "it looks really good" "it looks really good" .... 5 mins later "it looks really good"
Is he wrong though?
you guys really know how to sell your diecast's👍
What a job that must be.
Glad to have this exact set in my collection
The more you know that it looks really good.
Busch fishing paint scheme reminded me of a near-flip that happend to a certain driver on the final lap of talladega last weekend
Who?
I thought the cars were DNP in special finishes. They look really cool.
The first one is the only one that actually represents the on track car though...
I just love special finshes
So?

So usually the regular elite is the most accurate one?
Thank you Thomas, very interesting
so if the real car is chrome do i have to buy the color chrome for the car to be chrome or will the standard version be chrome?
How does one determine what the primary color is?
I’d love to live there
Just ordered a Championship Version Chase Elliott in Galaxy paint. Won't be here until October 2021 😩
