    For me I don’t take close looks at my diecast that often so for me arc cus you don’t have to spend as much money for something I don’t pay to much attention to

    I just bought an ARC car and was wondering how they looked these days. This video was super informative. I'd rather have a metal chassis, but I still like the detail they give us. The lower price allows more cars to be made too, so that part is cool. Maybe the market will keep growing and they'll be able to do more detail and lower prices.

    When I look far away, I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between them because they look the same. The only way I would be able to tell the difference is looking at the details and features on these 2 cars. I noticed that the ARC cars don’t have an opening deck lid while the Elites still have them. I also believe that the Elites have suspension along with a better detailed interior and engine. I remember the time that they used to have tethers in the hood, deck lid and roof flaps. Those are the ways I can tell whether this specific car is an Elite or ARC.

      To me the plastic grey interior of the arc's is glaring when compared to the dark metal interior of the elites, more than anything.

    Yep, I am strictly an Elite guy too. Just like you I prefer the weight of the car and the detail. I just wish they would put more and better detail. I would be willing to pay more for the cars if they did that. I have two Jimmie Johnson cars and a chase Elliott on order, now just have to wait till June to get them. It can be an expensive hobby if your collecting Elites, so I understand why many would prefer the Arch cars.
    P.S. Also, i'm not sure why but I have a thing for the antenas being there. The car just don't look right without them. Not sure it might be just me.

    I like the arc more when it comes to the interior. I say that because it’s more realistic. I don’t play with them I display them like everybody else. But actual cars have a white/grey roll cage so I like that look.

  • @LarryKoopaFanatic
    @LarryKoopaFanatic 2 года назад

    I only buy the Elites for my favorite driver and ARCs for other drivers to save money so I can get more cars for my collection. I don't see an issue with them cause I put them on display and don't touch them. Nor do I display them with the hood or roof flaps open, so the ARCs are just fine for me.

    Chassis swap question. After watching your chassis swap video I've been getting a ton of dirt cheap 2013-2017 cars and have started swapping with my 2018-current ARCs.
    What do you do for raced win tires & rims and colored wheels though? Is there a way to swap the rims and tires from the new chassis to the older chassis? That's the only snag I'm coming across, as colored wheels are just becoming a thing again in 2018+ cars, and with race wins all those tires and rims are obviously unique to the car. Thanks in advance for any assistance! Love the videos!

    Yeah I was planning on getting a white Ally Jimmie Johnson car and finale car too in Elite but I am sorry, I just can't justify spending the extra $30 dollars for something that I am going to put in a display case and not play with it. But that's me and to each its own. As long as the paint scheme is the same like what you see on the track, I am fine with the generic look. Unfortunately I have no longer any space to put 1:64s let alone the 1:24s but exception of the rule was Jimmie Johnson and the attractive Ally paint schemes.
    Bottom line: I think the 1:64s are the best bang for your buck when it comes to NASCAR diecast at $9 and to me, the molds on the 1:64s look a bit better or less ugly than the 1:24s (ie. Camaros 1:24s, they always look off to me).

    Honestly, I take the bodies off and paint the interiors myself. They look no different at all except the antennas. Ultimately once I do that, they look the exact same to me. I just hate that white bar down the middle.
    Though for some reason the Toyota ARC sits way high in the back, especially compared to the Elite.

    I just received my Kyle Busch 2023 1/24 Lucas Oil Fontana WIN Elite car. This is my first legit Elite car. I have a couple question regarding the antenna. Do they just sit on the roof because mine are not staying in the holes on the roof?. And why didn't they just put them in themselves so they would stay in? Other than that I love it.

    I have some complaints; 1. If it is not the American S Scale of 1/64 then it should not be called 1/64. Most are 1/60th when you do the measuring and understand this China does not measure in the American Standard, they measure in metric so noting can ever be a 1/64 if made outside America. 2 Die cast is the process used for making metal items. It is rare to find a true die cast model. Plastic items or CVC items are not made with the die cast method, they are made by or with injection modes. So, if it is not a die cast don't call it die cast. if it is not injection mode, don't call it injection mode. When you compare product to product for the years mfg. still the best for your money was the original American S scale die cast made in America under the name Stock Car Miniatures. I will not sale any of mine.

    That's why I hate these differences. Why can't you do it right? ARC has one more nuance. The front pair of wheels does not completely turn in one direction. The hole for the beam is small, the joint of the beam with the wheel clings to it. Add to that a hood that opens at a slight angle. The trunk, which does not open at all, although it has holes for hinges. Roof antenna missing. And an unfinished suspension. It's just a mockery.

    I hate the new ARC's. They are NOT worth $50 Not by a long shot. You can buy the same level of detail of those from Walmart for like $20. Its also annoying that they do this when for decades the basic model was just as detailed as the current elites. I want to get some of the new diecasts but I don't want to pay so much for what is basically a Hotwheels car. They need to charge like 35-40 for them. If they did that I'd buy them again. But like you I really like the detailed ones best.
