We can see how it's changed from a more higher-pitched colonial-English-sounding accent to a more deep, booming, aggressive tone in the 70s and 80s to now being a mix of the aggressive tone, but perhaps a bit more sophisticated.

That Collingwood one isn't old. It's only late 80s or early 90s in one of those Mike Brady style tunes. It's also terrible. Geelong's is also early 90s, Barry Crocker sung it from memory. North Melbourne's song is the same one as now just you've played it at a higher speed.

I do like the version sung here by Barry Crocker (Born in Geelong) which was released i think about 1982. A modern version highlighting the superstars of the Gary Sr era (1984 onwards) would be pretty amazing, since the two Gary's may well be the greatest players to ever play the game.
