Up here in snow Mexico every chassis you have is worth so much bloody money!! And the ones that can be found are rotten beyond repair. Solid examples are almost non-existent. Awsome content! Love your vids man!
Good to see the car again. I miss these type of work on the track car vids. I remember searching for my own SI when I saw this car. California prices lol
I was just watching this and all of a sudden "HEY WAIT A MINUTE!" Now that's a nice shirt you have on there!!! I love the Whtie SI, glad to see it getting back to battle.
I rock your shirt at least once every 3 weeks as that's my rotation of shirts in the garage. I'm glad it always pops up in videos because there's plenty of times when I'm not recording. Love it, and been great knowing and supporting you all these years now, and couldn't be more appreciative of your support too!
One thing I’ve learned about having little ones; I can collect parts really easy…over a few years, then have some fun stuff to work on when that time frees up.
@@oregonfelder1 Definitely! I stack parts for months, then pick a weekend or a school break to do all my fun stuff on the cars lol. I got 3 Honda's and my house is full of parts, strategically hidden of course hahaha
G'day J! Nice...good deal going somewhere you know, buyer gets it from somewhere he knows! Yup, start small, he may not fall in love w it... if he does, he'll want mo' power baby! Lol...keep turning that wrench... one love ❤️
Since you have done track racing what is your opinion on lightweight Flywheel vs oem I have a d16y8 with a fresh rebuild and bc springs and retainers and I'm looking to do the dragon here soon since I'm from NC
If you're there, install one! I wouldn't create the work if otherwise. Definitely will help with less parasitic loss and quicker acceleration especially since you'll be doing that a lot of roads like the dragon. If not, leave it. I've never used a lightweight flywheel at the track and it's not something that would slow you down.
Hey I’d like to ask on a suspension setup advice. I have a 90civic si mostly stock, I have a blown shock so I need to replace, and I am looking to upgrade the suspension while I do it, I’m hoping to drop the car about 1-2” but it is a daily driver, to and from work everyday in pittsburgh with potholes and speed bumps and all the worst roads imaginable. I’m looking at koni yellows as I hear they are the best, any other recommendations? How about springs, can I use stock? Thanks, your videos have helped me to get into working on cars, something I always wanted to do. I appreciate you
You mentioning the yellows means you can afford them which is great. I personally think they are one of the best, if not the best shock out there. You can use your stock springs with them, but that doesn't lower the car. A set of brand name bane lowering springs would pair nicely with these and lowering springs are generally a 1-2" drop like you want.
Hello the : i live in Austria and managed to put my hands in a civic hatch back 1990 automatc. only hast around 50,000 miles on it . should i go for the manual tranny swap or jut keep it stucck? its has the Db52 engine with on 90 ps or HP . please advise
Pulling an engine is pretty quick depending on your wrenching skills and familiarity with the chassis. Takes anywhere between 45 minutes - 1 hour 1/2 Reinstalling may take about the same and sometimes a bit longer depending on how careless one is or how meticulous one is.
hey man I have a question with my ef the starter doesn't crank and when I go to start it it makes one click and the fuel pump doesn't prime any recommendations ?
Thank you, but not yet thankfully! He had a major heart surgery and it was scary. He's very healthy now but not healthy enough to drive this car again. Hopefully he'll be able to once again soon even if just for some cruising.
Man I absolutely love your Honda content!
Really appreciate you Adam!
I had two 91 EF’s, one with a B16, in the Army circa 2007. I really do miss them.
Sad to see it go, but great that it is running and driving again!
We have such a strong ef/crx presence at our local track. Love it! Can’t wait to see the white dragon out there
Gonna be sick seeing all the homies again out there!

Loving the momo steering wheel
Great to see this! Woot! Woot!
Man I missed this car. I bought mu EF around that same time, can't believe it's been that long.
Tell me about it. That's what having your 1st child does 2 months later. 😁
@@GarageBuiltHondas I've got 2 myself but 8 &12 lol so luckily I have some more time now for projects. Sad to see the car go but the CRX is a beast!
Thanks man. Yes I keep a lot of cars. Seems like if you have the space you normally do. Lol

Too bad it had to go. I like it. Makes me miss my Ed6 Hatch. I do have to say tho I don't like the wing otherwise I like it.
Which brand coolant fill do you use. Mine is junk. Looking for a better one
I've been using this. I haven't had any problems. amzn.to/3IWTPt7

What's up with the diffuser? Hook a brother up.
Lol, you'd be first if I'm selling it. I'm going to use it on my crx now.

Keep it auto until you decide to swap it.
Dammit boy I love seeing clean builds this is prime example of clean build
I have a 2000 CR-V that needs to be owned by a mechanic, not by me. I'd like to get your input to keep it on dirt roads.
About?
I don't know if it was said, I fast forward a lot, but how long did it take to just swap out the engine?
Pulling an engine is pretty quick depending on your wrenching skills and familiarity with the chassis. Takes anywhere between 45 minutes - 1 hour 1/2
Reinstalling may take about the same and sometimes a bit longer depending on how careless one is or how meticulous one is.
Took me an hour to remove it.
How do you store your motors?
They're just on rollers, no oil inside.

b20b swapped as well p75
Wiring issue, ignition switch, bad pump.
🔥🔥🔥😇😉🍻🍺
Sounds like you lost your Father? I hope that’s not the case but if it is, I’m very sorry.
