- This run was not all that good up until JRB, but I continued anyway, playing quite well from WDW on out, resulting in a time 5 minutes faster than the previous WR of 2:56:44 by FramePerfection.

The reason why the game kept freezing in Haze Maze Cave was because of the flame throwers, if too many of them are activated it takes up so much of the game's memory and the game will eventually freeze because it can't handle it, you have to avoid having too many of them shooting at once.
Very nice. It's clearly a hard game, but you've got a great handle on it.
...also those game freezes in HMC were a real bummer.

I'd wager that last chain chomp is literally the most terrifying chain chomp in the universe, especially that way speedrunners rub up against it with one health.
This man can 100% speed run this faster than I can any% speed run normal mario 64
I think I can any% the regular game faster, but it would be a close competition.

I just had to stop the video @20:19 to type this comment lol! Amazing skill man! Not only that but the level designs are so damn sick in this game!! I grew up with Super Mario 64 as a kid and even yet, I still have trouble getting a triple jump down never mind moves that I watch you do haha! Now, back to watching the video. ;)

Fantastic job! Looks rather tricky to get the hang of. Also I only now just realise out of all my years watching speed runners play this game, that the slide racing penguin is rubber banding...the fuck?
Bruh...that penguin complains about you cheating but gets a head start and then rubber bands like that. He's a lame-o dirty cheat.
There should be a "game crashed"-counter as well :/

Nothing much was to change, so that's why Omega didn't chamge anything. Although he could've changed red coin or star placement. He probs never thought about that though.

I think the guy who made this went into hiding upon the criticism that all he did was just move everything a few inches out of place to where it'd slightly more inconvenient, and then just duplicated enemy and hazard assets all around them.
The guy who made the rom hack, I mean. Not the speedrunner here. He didn't even attempt to defend himself or his actions with the rom hack. Just instantly deleted all of his videos covering the hack and fucked off.

This guy kicks ass. This is my first time watching this hack. Chain Chomp Battlefield is child’s play compared to the rest of the game. Getting some of those red coins looks extremely difficult. I think I could beat the game, but fuck the red coins.
Unfortunately, you need every single star in the game, including red coins, secret stars and regular stars. Sorry to burst your bubble however. But with memorisation of each level, you'd get through it easily and practice complex wallkicks and jumps.

Death 1 should not be counted because that first death was intended for you to get inside the castle, there really should be a total of 9 deaths instead of ten

A game mode where the player will not fear a challenge.
Where the runner would not be bound by a single misstep.
Where the competitor would not be constrained by the casual!
And when preparing a speedrun, Kaizo can be your challenge run as well.

Yep. You gotta kick the MC box on the side so you get pushed away from the torpedo and then you can swim carefully near the hitbox to obtain the MC. Defs makes the Red Coins easier by a ton

I find instaling Kaizo Mario to be difficult enough that I haven't managed to even play it. I have no chance of beating it, much less in 1 sitting.

The game crashed because of all the fire. It’s pretty unfortunate that something like that happened twice on my best paced run ever since I usually avoid that just fine.

I'm curious to whoever reads this when I was younger playing Mario 64 I remember getting a 122 stars if I remember correctly but just curious have anybody tried to do the one do you have to collect all 100 coins at each level

When I was a little kid I used to play every level and get a hundred coins and it gives you a star try it I don't have a 64 at the moment otherwise I would go back and try it it doesn't hurt
It doesn't have more than 120 stars. I've collected 100+ coins in every Bowser battle
