Michael Block’s ‘Cinderella story’ reminds people what golf is all about: Barry Hearn

A legendary sports promoter has praised Michael Block’s “Cinderella story” on the PGA tour, saying it reminds people what golf is truly about.
Block made headlines after hitting a mind-blowing hole-in-one in the final round of the PGA Championship.
The 46-year-old serves as a club pro at a California golf club where he gives lessons for $225 an hour.
“I think in the state that golf’s in with the LIV tour on one side, PGA on the other, we forgot what the game is about,” Barry Hearn told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“It’s about people like Michael Block.”
