My grandfather emigrated from Galicia to the Americas. My dream is to visit the beautiful land of his birth someday with my sons and their children.

I say; follow your dream. I'm from the Netherlands, no connection with Galicia at all, but when I was there, years ago on a long-stay holiday for 6 weeks and went home I really felt home-sick for Galicia and the Gallegos. They're the nicest people I've met ♡

Gracias.

@Mongoose 1980 I recomend you to visit Cies and Ons islands and the south coast from Baiona to Sanxenxo, warm weather a cold sea and little white beaches, perfect combination.

@Mongoose 1980 more green,, forest, mountains, animals, more different culture far from the stereotypes "Spain= flamenco, toros and beach", far of the massification tourism, better food and differents stuffs. I sugest you visit Galicia, my region
