I was fostered at 2yrs old. Adopted at 13yrs old. My first parade was about the age of 7. That’s when I first heard the bag pipes past by me. It stirred something in me, and the love of hearing them. As an adult I meet my biological father. I’m Scottish, Germany and English. That Scottish facial is what I have the most, and the love of the Scottish bagpipes and drums!!❤️🥰❤️
My dad passed 2005, he was a piper and violinist, he was in his late 70's, but you would find him listening to anything from Led Zeppelin to this, love him and miss him, its bee3n a very musically colourful day!
I lost my father on 2011 3 days after father's day. He was 82 years young and he absolutely loved this type of music. He loved all types of music but this was his favourite because he was a true Scots man. Then after this he loved hearing the call to prayer for Muslims the guy that sings from the big tower thing. He travelled the world with the merchant navy and he said he always loved 2 things getting woke up in the morning hearing the call to prayer and coming home for a true scotch whisky and live Scots music 🎶 hearing the bagpipes and drums 🥁

Really?? You obviously aren’t from Scotland, this is NOT authentic! I grew up (as an Irishman) in the pipeband culture and competed as a drummer in many Scottish pipeband championships. We have a real drumming culture which IS handed down through multiple generations unlike these clowns with their fake Scottish drums who would be laughed out of a Scottish Grade 4 band competition. What an absolute joke!

It always bothers me when people make a big fat assumption that there is real animosity between the Scottish and the English people. I am English and absolutely love Scotish culture (well ALL United Kingdom culture)...live in Canada now, but whenever there is a parade here and a Scottish marching band goes by, those pipes make tears run down my face. Never mind the politics, just love and enjoy the music....and whats not to love about a man in a kilt!!

Similar to Scotland, our country has been occupied and terrorized for centuries, which has left a footprint on our culture and folklore. Listening to this rhythms is like a history lesson, if I close my eyes I can see their ancestors preparing for battle, getting ready to protect and preserve their families, believes and dignity. This music used to be thw last sounds many a brave lad heard before dying in other people's wars over the ages, and it could be heard above the cannon's huge din. Everything is perfect in this band, and its percussion ranks among the best in this blasted world. I happen to have been born this time as a Brazilian, in order to pay for me past sins, no doubt, and I freely admit many a musician here should listen to you, Clanadonia folks. Even if the music isn't your style, unless it's literally promoting something abusive or threatening, then just shrug it off and move on, no need to be ugly about it. I think the song was great, lively, and catchy. The kind of music I would really enjoy hearing at any kind of outdoor market or festival. Clearly the musicians are into it and enjoy playing and sharing their work, so all in good fun.

This music used to be thw last sounds many a brave lad heard before dying in other people's wars over the ages, and it could be heard above the cannon's huge din. Everything is perfect in this band, and its percussion ranks among the best in this blasted world. I happen to have been born this time as a Brazilian, in order to pay for me past sins, no doubt, and I freely admit many a musician here should listen to you, Clanadonia folks.
