Yeah. I'd think so too. Hero is the grown-up of the group, he'd definitely act mature but it's hard to say if he'll forgive Sunny for what he'd done. Kel is easy-going, he'd forgive Sunny. Aubrey can probably relate to Sunny what with the almost killing Basil stuff.
Personally I think if they don't forgive Sunny and Basil to the point they actually beat them and leave them for a long time, That would just mean that they have a really bad temper cause they have to understand that the only person closest to Mari was Sunny himself and he has gone through enough of keeping silent and keeping the depression in himself and he's going to be the one getting beaten up. Or maybe I just want no more pain idk lol
For my Hero and Aubrey they will leave in silence since they would have many things on their minds, Kel may stay together with Sunny and Basil or he will also leave, and being honest the person who will pay the most will be Basil, since he was the one with the "idea" of hanging Mari's body, that revelation will not please either Hero or Aubrey...ESPECIALLY Hero, shit if that boy hadn't done that and had done the right thing, I don't know, call 911 or ask for help, maybe I'm not in such a bad position with Hero and Aubrey
idk if that been said before or if it doesnt make any sense, but ive finished my gameplay and got the true ending and i have a theory that basically humphrey is the representation of the coroner that examined mari's body in real world. see, he feeds off of cash right? so sunny's parents bribed him not to say anything about the truth of her death, and each month humphrey came to their house to be payed again or he would reveal the truth, until sunny's dad couldnt take it anymore, killed humphrey and got arrested for it so that's why he doesnt show up in the real world. i do remember seeing a dead whale in black space and that's why most of this theory is stuck in my head lol.
Fallin down the stairs into a broken violin is way more lethal than just falling. When sunny checked mari, "she is not breathing" the game says. Although, yeah, sunny probably just put his hand up her nose to see if air was coming out and im pretty sure you cant tell that way after such impact on the head or body. Either way, it probably was atleast a few hours until basil came to fake the suicide, so im pretty sure mari would start to breathe normally -or atleast there would have been noticable chest movement which would mean she wasnt dead. A lot of people are questioning this factor so just to clarify its only what i believe and think. To top it all off, even if you are unconcious and being stroked or strangled you would probably move a little or cough.

@Annistar i mean lets take some video game logic here, yeah, sunny was in a blackout rage but still nobody would push their sister down the stairs no matter how angry they are, also knowing he was around 11-12 year old and he knew a broken violin is there. Sunny , as is seems to me, used to stay with his friends almost all the time and with his sister a lot (since they live in the same house obviously). Mari probably had warned him when they were both young, but sunny might have forgotten about it and it seemed like the parents were busy with work to keep telling them to be careful.

She is the antagonist in a sense. With Something, and Hellmari being twisted hallucinations of her.
