4:20 this probably is my personal favorite jumpscare in the game because of how it uses normal game design to lure you into a false sense of security then pulls the rug from under you. When I was first playing I saw the singular vine with nothing behind it and thought oh is there a secret or something down here and assumed that since it’s just a single vine and Omori can cut through things, I thought it would be a secret but instead it was a Something jumpscare.

there is one event that i think almost no one knows, since it does not appear here or any other video, once in my hikkikomori route, after having a bit of fun on blackspace (or boss rush, i don´t really remember) i went to the real world, besides of how it usually looks, when i went to the stairs, Sunny suddenly stoped, the screen got darker, and hell mary was down the stairs, after some seconds, quickly she ran towards sunny, but what it happened after was not what i was expecting, not a jumpscare or sunny waking up in his room, what happened was that the window got red, and from the piano room was also red, for some reason, it allowed me to enter there, and you know what i found? the piano was gone, and the window of there was completely red, i don´t really remember what it said when i interacted with, but since there was not more, i got out and then, hell sunny was up the stairs and entered to the room of sunny, and then i went to sleep, since nothing more happened, but i was really suprised, since i never knew how i was able to triger that, if some of you are intriged to investigate how to do it, i made a dual hikkikomori route (not open the door for kel in 2 days left) because i wanted to get the event of: Mari is home. and after of that, i think that open the door for mary on the prologue is absolutely nessesary, since none of hell mary events happend if you don´t open the door when she asks to it, and i think that you need to do some other things, like clearing the boss rush or explore black space 2, but remember this, i made this in CONSOLE, so im not really sure if you can do this on pc, thats all i have to say

I think that MARI wasn't dead from being pushed onto the violin and she was killed by being hung. One reason why I think this is because dead bodies are not light and it is heavily implied that MARI's 'corpse' was light. Also because her eye opened after they had hung her. If it was a muscle spasm or something, I feel like it would've happened sooner. Also, I think it was BASIL's plan to hang MARI because the captions for the photos were all from SUNNY's point of view and they were saying 'a voice told me to do this, or do that' not 'I did this, I did that.' Either this was BASIL's plan, or SUNNY's trauma had gotten so bad that he was hearing voices already. 🤷‍♀️ idk, but i dont think its SUNNY's fault.

The horror in this game is incredible it subverts expectations immediately and then shows how the horror keeps seeping in more and more. When sunny first wakes up and you go to the door for mari it actually scared the shit out of me

Does anyone remember the event at 2-1 days left on Omori route? (Possible mild Spoilers ahead) It was after you sorted your things in 3 boxes, 2 keep boxes, 1 throw away box Once you were done, eventually the screen would start darkening with these hovering black eyes (Somethings I think) I remember saving my game and thinking I need to get to bed to escape. I just want to know what happens if I decide to stand still and wait for the screen to go completely black. I don't know what to call this phenomenon and have been looking all over the internet for it lol if someone could help, I'd appreciate it.

I think hellmari is the creepiest out of any kind of media/games. why? because if you think about this- in the "duet" video we see mari peacefully lying as corpse nice with flowers. But that's a body before it decomposes. I still think that mari's spirit is really haunting sunny and basil (The something's i doubt that only are "guilt" or "trauma") and mari being actually neutral . either she if sunny won't accept the truth be only freed if he jumps from the building, or she will try until he will admit it (when something follows him) , or if he accepts truth she finally fully can rest in peace. But my point is: at 1:59 is probably how mari's body looks like in real. so the thought that the romantized pictures of mari we know are either the past when she was alive or in sunny's head but the REAL CURRENT decomposed mari would probably look like hellmari anyway. it's like in these horror movies when corpses come back to life and imagine this is not sunny's messed up imagination but ACTUAL mari's soul that just looks like she is now. that makes it so very creepy. it's not a distorted random monster or thought but an actual reality
