Winter Camping in a Hammock (Caught in Freezing Rain and Snow)

- This past weekend I went out to a new crownland spot and hiked in to camp out overnight. I picked up a new hammock on the way in then found the perfect trees to set up for the night. This was my first time ever using a hammock to camp and honestly I was pretty impressed although it will be much more enjoyable in warmer weather.

You should look into an under quilt for that hammock. It's a definite game changer when camping in winter, spring, and fall. Keep getting out there, lovin the videos !

What sleeping bag is that you’re using? I want one like it but can’t find it.
It is the Woods Logan lightweight -12, got it at CT. I’ve really like it for the outings this winter. I also like that is the mummy style, I use the head hood for my pillow so it doesn’t leave me in the night lol
