These aired on my 8th birthday
I was nine years old. A hippie couple rented the house across the street from us. They had two pets: a cat named Captain Midnight and a black Lab named Pax. They weren’t there very long. Sometimes I wonder how they ended up. I guess they’d be mid ‘70s in age now.

Lol! The Scholl's foot odor spray is the most memorable commercial to me from this selection. There was also one where his dog fell over from a begging position
That was for Odor Eaters but it's the same actor, Roy Stuart from Gomer Pyle

Phil Gaines does a couple of station id's for WRC-TV in Washington. Gaines was a staff announcer from 1963-79.
Hit song at the time: "Sweet Hitch-hiker", Creedence Clearwater Revival. For the V05 ad, "we put these two hair-sprayed girls on a rocket sled ..."

No, he looks way too old. Travanti looked like that in '85. BUT ... Veronica Hamel did the last TV tobacco ad in 1970.
