So, I did test the club analysis 3-D aspect of the Pro Package….What I found is the graphic uses a single point on the ground as a reference point…the golf ball that shows up in the alignment part of the device…So, if you don’t hit from the same point on the ground to the same target every time, your lines will be all over the place. So, if you plan to utilize this aspect, it’s important to just put a dot on your mat and put the ball there every time….a little tougher if your on a grass range, but you do have some buffer front to back where you can just keep moving your ball back 1/2” or so at a time, depending upon the size of the divots you take…And again, if you start hitting to different targets and don’t re-align the device, your swing lines will look like spaghetti…

That is a super device. For me, however, it would be information overload. At my stage in golf life, I just need to know accurate carry distances throughout my bag. Something like the Garmin G80 is probably sufficient. Your reviews are always insightful and helpful!
The dynamic launch and angle of attack are the game changer stats for me. I love my Swing Caddy SC300i but that device does not have angle of attack nor dynamic loft and when I’m trying to reduce the spin on my driver, those numbers are critical.

I just re-purchased the Mevo+ after testing it a while back, but choosing the R10…R10 is great, but Mevo+ is much better at data management/analysis…I also upgraded to the Pro Package and you are right! When you look at the swing path 3D tracer lines, do you know if those lines are relative to where the ball is sitting, or a specific spot on the ground? In other words, if I hit shot 1 from spot A, but hit shot 2 from spot B, which is an inch inside where shot A was, and I put an identical swing on the ball with identical results (probably impossible), will those two lines coincide, or be parallel, one inch apart? Just trying to understand when I hit the “all shots” button and the lines look like they are all over the place, is that actually true, or are those lines just relative to where you place the ball….I may try to test this out tomorrow, but wondering if you knew…I’ll test it by hitting from the exact same spot for a bunch of shots, and then mark out specific spots and re-test them from different spots to see if the swing planes change….
I'm grinding through all of these videos trying to understand which one to buy. So much data makes it overwhelming and there really aren't many great side by side comparisons out there... There are almost 3 buyer types of these devices from what I can tell. 1) people who want topgolf at home 2) simulators who want to golf in snow/rain or don't have means to travel the world to play a course 3) coaching+driving range.
Good luck getting the R10. They are on back order with really no estimated date on when they will be coming. I’ve had one ordered since early January. I don’t think I’ll see it before fall to be honest. I was thinking about cancelling and getting this but Its $3000 and the R10 is only $00
I just returned mine. It is absolutely useless when hitting into a net outdoors. On the range, was perfect. But i didn't buy it to hit it at the range.
The BLP does not always need an internet connection to work. I believe it is programmed to work up to 45 days without an internet connection, at which point it will need to be connected online to check software license status. If you’re having to always connect your BLP to the internet, I suspect you may need to update your firmware, or have some other problem.
what's the construction plan in the back? set up looks good. something I'm also aiming for with the basics! How do you find the mevo+ golf courses with just your mobile? worth while?

Thanks Marcel, glad it’s helpful. This room is definitely bigger than it looks on camera. It is 21 feet total in length. Would definitely recommend at least a minimum of 17 feet because you will want 7-8 behind and 8 in front.

I think the memo would be very nice at the range and then use the Bushnell at home (since it's a little more bulky) but the price for both would be a little steep. Pick one or the other I guess..

I have the Mevo+ and have been debating on getting the pro package. Love the FS app. But I use the E6 app a little more and the FS skills app. How does the upgrade work with those apps or does it only enhance the FS golf App?
It won’t necessarily affect those other 3rd party apps functionally. However, Flightscope touts it as making Mevo Plus more accurate, so I suppose that would translate to more accuracy in those apps too.
When using the ‘swing training’ mode, the Mevo+ does track club speed, v-plane, and h-plane without hitting a ball. Just tested it with a RypStick for speed training and worked just fine.

Great video! I have a Mevo + with the Pro Package and I am having a lot of problems with it and I am not having any luck with Flightscope support getting it solved. My unit misses the club data on 25% to 40% of my shots. I’ve sent a lot of raw data to support along with pictures of my setup and they are slow to respond and of little help. I would like to try another unit but so far they have refused to test my unit or send me a replacement. So right now I have a $3000 plastic door stop.
Sim room needs some sound deadening, definitely had a bit of an echo when you hit the ball. The update to the Mevo+ Pro is impressive but the key is going to be how accurate all the data is.
$2999.00 is a bit expensive for me. I can get a club fitting and learn all my carry distances for less than $300….it would take 10 years to spend this much in fittings/swing analysis.. How do non PGA Pro/fitters justify having this?

The R10 is a failed product that will be discounted when available with minimal updates due to less consumers

Both have club data
The Bushnell Launch Pro requires the Gold package and stickers on your clubs to give full club data. The Mevo+ w/Pro package does not.

You just need to keep the unit eight feet back from where you are hitting. But you shouldn’t have to mess with any settings.
Can you set the lofts on each club??? I have a few 7 irons, one is 31 other is 34 and a 35...This makes a difference in the data...Thanks....

I think having a full simulator is a huge reason. When hooked into software like E6, it’s much more than a fitting tool.
Because you can use this literally any and every day in your house. Convenience is worth $$
