Reaally good tutorial! Nice and calm and you explained everything perfectly!!! Thanks a lot. I just found ur channel and I love the tutorials man. Muchas gracias
I can't get my strings to bend up like you do. It is a new ukulele, and I'm new at playing. Do I just need to keep practicing or will the strings loosen up over time? Thanks P.s. your videos are awesome!
@@TenThumbsProductions ye I remember when you got it and I can hear it's personality developing. I opted for a Pono AT (acacia tenor) and mmmmm good too..
The only other one would be the Bm7 which is just barring the 2nd fret completely, one of the reason it is easier though is you can a lay your middle finger on your index finger and use two fingers to play it. All the other Bm shapes are way up the fretboard and really aren’t any easier because you also have to mute the G string.
They are in the same time signature which gives it that unique groove. You'll also hear that in songs like "House of the Rising Sun" "Hallelujah" "Can't Help Falling in Love" it was very popular with ballads back in the day.
Sorry to hear that the video isn't at a pace that is conducive to learning. We try to find the best pace for the largest audience but that means it will always be too fast for some and too slow for others. There is a button in the bottom right with settings that has a feature called "play back speed" if you turn that to .75 it will play back at 3/4ers the speed. I use it for my ear training and learning solos, hopefully you find that speed better for your education. Mahalo and strum on friend.

Just so awesome man!
What kind of ukulele is yours ?
I wanna buy my first one any recommendation?
This was a Kala tenor Cedar top, about a 400 dollar ukulele, anything over 200 starts to get into a very high and very playable quality.
I am practicing now! Not sure if I can do it!
Thanks for the video. Can you do a video on how to play down to the river by ben Caplan
Cool!! Can you play/teach his new tune "Cold". Thanks!!!
Thanks TenThumbs!
My pleasure.
Thank you for the video!
What model ukulele is that? I’m a big fan of the look.
Shane Walker it’s a kala tenor cedar top with a cut away, they also do it without the cutaway. It is really easy to play, sounds great too.
@@TenThumbsProductions it keeps on developing more character the more you play it too.
@@hyabussa5747 It is opening up quite a bit. Very much becoming my go to.

Klasse!!!!!!!!!!
Does TenThumbs have merch? I need shirt or something to rep :)
Is it weird that my fav part of the videos is when Tyler tells me to “Bring it on in”
Gregory Johnson hahah! Best part.
can you do mountain sound-of monsters and man pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee
I didn’t know u can scream a ukulele like a guitar
I yell at mines all the time 😂
@@MrCaLiBoNeZ lmao😭
It would be helpful if you could put a pic of how do needed chords at the to of page on tabs pdf. Thanks
Is there another variation for the Bm?

Hmm. Subbed coz I liked your comment on hot ones... addicted.
Marina Proger haha, nice! I remember you, we made jokes about bad guy interviews.
Now... how to adjust those fingerstyle pieces for bari?
Search this song + baritone uke, there's a tutorial.
You should do a tutorial of implicit demand for proof by twenty one pilots
Loveless Lyle pretty sure he already has
@@omglookatme6899 I searched through his channel and he hasnt, thanks tho :)
I thought I did too but I couldn’t find it either 🤔 maybe I do need to.
My fingertips are sore 🤣
Sounds like Ed’s “Perfect.”

Great lesson but that is not easy
anthony slattery thanks! The solo no, but the strummer song is! Happy strumming
You pronounced ukulele properly!!!
I also say it in the American English way as well.
I think you're really good but you're going too slow and you need to give it more explanation
