Best tip I’ve learned is to buy and sell your towns special fruit!! Lychee/grapes/lemons. You sell them in the market place and your friends can buy them for that low price and sell for $600 a piece and vice versa

From what I see in new horizons online, pocket camp looks funner to me....new horizons seems like you would have to grind way too long to make good progress or unlock new animal friends for your town

Here's a tip I found out myself: play a villager map and insta clear it. This gives you gold treats. Use the gold treats that you have and give 2 to a villager and it will level them up to 7. Doing this gives you a decent amount of exp, so doing that about 2 or 3 times will level you up pretty quickly, and when you level up, ya get more leaf tickets! I probably explained that pretty badly but I tried :p
Also do this with the golden bells map you get 50,000 bells for only 5 leaf tickets! That’s how i got 666,000+ bells! Also get a camp caretaker it’s really helpful! Especially during events :)
How to get lots of leaf bells? I started doing that because random timed goals would come up demanding I collect X number of fruit and if I had already pocketed it, then it didn't count towards my collection total. My routine: Check to see if any of the crafts are done Check market box Check friends market boxes Go to garden to harvest or grow or plant flowers (or do any events regarding the garden) Go do requests for animals in cabin and campsite Go do requests for animals in different islands Pick the fruit in Breezy Hollow and other islands Go fishing Go catch bugs Pick up shells Sell fishes, bugs, gifts, and shells that cost a lot of money (from inventory) Sell things I don't need in market box Do daily goals Try to finish at least 1 strech goal Do event things Check out the reissued and event items Do event goals Do planting goals Use fertilizer to make more of the rare fruits (lychees is my rare fruit but it can be grapes or lemons) If all of that is done: Take pictures Decorate the cabin or campsite Set favorite picture Pay any loans you have Craft any items that a certain animal needs to come to your cabin or campsite Use your request card to get more requests Dress up your avatar and other animals avatar Buy more or level up amenities Check out the AR stuff Look at the scrapbook Visit other people's campsites Buy other people's things in the market box (special fruits, etc) This takes around 1-3 hours lol
it's worth mentioning that you can redeem the same reward with nintendo points over and over. i redeemed the 5k bells reward until i had no more nintendo points left since i didn't care about the crafting materials or cap and jacket. i ended up having almost 60k bells
There’s another way to get bells and this is what I personally do, you link a Nintendo account, go into settings and click my Nintendo, then you see all the options you can get, you start off with 0 points, go and redeem your points then come back with about 300 points, buy the 5000 bells pack with 100 points, and you can buy it again later, to earn more of these points go to the missions section and read the missions, then do them in animal crossing, once you have done that, redeem your points! I like this way of getting bells.
I started playing Animal Crossing when the first version came out. Now in quarantine I decided to play again. So im 6 weeks in i have 2,000,000 bells and another 6 million in furniture im on level 102 as of today, because I've got too much time on my hands and I've spent about $550 on the game again too much time + no impulse control. My tip for the market box is to use it as storage for stuff you don't want to sell, I just list things for a ridiculous price and set a limit on who can buy it, also you earn more points with each Animal with more expensive items, like if they say I want a bug I give them a saw stag or whatever the best bug is, and you get money back plus more prizes and sometimes fortune cookies , same with fruit I buy any special fruit anyone sells and give it to the animals, there is a pearl oyster shell they love and ginko flowers, with blathers its always worth it to clear the maps for 5 lear tickets because you get snacks to hand out again getting further points with each animal. I need tips on x pollination if anyone has any.

I'm not sure about the Tom Nook chair but I made the mistake of buying the one for K.K. Slider. Unless you're a major fan of his, I do NOT recommend buying it. Complete waste of leaf tickets. While you do get to talk to him and he hangs around your campsite (but always just on the chair), you don't actually become friends with him, so no hearts, no leveling up, nothing. Not even when you talk to him. Was very disappointed.

a good method to get a lot of bells is to share your bugs with other players and get friend powder, (the easiest way is to ping pong bugs with another player), and then use your friend powder on the bells map. i used this method and earned 400-500k bells 😁
Hi I was thinking the other day about a tip (more of an exploit) that might give you tons and tons of free storage. Could you theoretically create alt accounts and become friends with them then use the market place to transfer items back and forth? You'd just need to level the alt account a little to give it decent storage and then put items up cheap in the market place and buy them back on the secondary account and keep them there until you need them on your main. I can't think of why this wouldn't work other than you would need multiple Apple accounts which are free. It would be somewhat time consuming unless you had multiple devices.

A way to max out friend ship fast is by not letting them stay in your camp but you’ll have to wait for them to return to the surrounding sights

You'd just need to level the alt account a little to give it decent storage and then put items up cheap in the market place and buy them back on the secondary account and keep them there until you need them on your main. I can't think of why this wouldn't work other than you would need multiple Apple accounts which are free. It would be somewhat time consuming unless you had multiple devices.
Hmmm yeah I could see that working! Would be 100% easier if you had multiple devices for sure. But yeah, as long as you had the minimum coin to buy back and forth that would work :)

The price of leaf tickets is ridiculous! My friend band her 8yr daughter from playing this game bc she got impatient trying earn them and kept begging her mom to let her buy some with real money..she gave in a let her buy 99c leaf pac of 150 tickets ..the day she asked her for more money her mom told her no u have 150 that's enough..she was shocked when she said no mom I spent them ...on wallpaper..she..how many did u get for 150...only 1....she was mad cuz she felt like the game hustling children by mk game difficult so then they'd get frustrated and spend there.parents money..
